Abstract

The article discusses a study on the dermoscopic and clinical features of the medical case of 19 poromas proven by biopsy. The study includes 19 patients with biopsy-proven poromas from the medical centers in Zerifin, Israel, New York, Mexico City, and Rimini, Italy. It concludes that poromas are referred as solitary amelanotic nodules or papules which are frequent on nonacral skin.

Abstract

The article focuses on the restoration of Eleven Waverly Place in New York by Agassi Consulting Engineers and Bond Street Architecture & Design. Based on an examination conducted by the firm, the deterioration of the building was not confined merely to the façade, but was also extended further inside the building. It is stated that the challenging part was the need to repair the corroded steel while at the same time leaving the penthouse intact and the entire building services in full operation.
