A review of the articles "What's on the Menu," by Susanne Bjørner and "Dutch Partners Create Unique Library and Score Worldwide Media Coverage," by Kathy Dempsey, which appeared in the July/August 2011 issues of "The CyberSkeptic's Guide to Internet Research" and "MLS: Marketing Library Services" is presented.

The article discusses notable events from the 30-year history of Information Today, Inc. (ITI). Tom Hogan and Roger Bilboul of ITI organized the first National Online Meeting (NOM) which was held in March 1980 at New York City's Sheraton Hotel. The event was attended by 500 delegates and featured 40 exhibitors including DIALOG, BRS and Chemical Abstracts. ITI initially began under the name, Learned Information, Inc. which was responsible for publications like "Online Review" and "Electronic Publishing Review."
