Abstract

The article discusses the examination of glaucoma care for various races. The author said that there is no systematic pattern of undertreatment of glaucoma in blacks compared to whites, according to a review of Medicare claims by a group at Duke University and RAND Health Services. The investigators also sought to determine whether racial differences exist in longitudinal care patterns for beneficiaries with glaucoma.
