A survey was conducted to investigate the perceptions of teachers regarding students' comprehension in English and about their attitude to reading comprehension. For this purpose a total of 50 teachers (25 males & 25 females) were selected as sample of the study. A questionnaire containing 12 items was constructed and administered on the selected sample. The collected data was tabulated, analyzed and interpreted by chi- square statistics. The results showed that the given text is understood by the students, students found main theme, students apply reading comprehension strategies, used relaxation exercise, paraphrasing helped the students' in an increase their comprehension ability, students; previous knowledge restructured by subjecting them to valuable and stout notions, and self - questioning is helpful in examining and evaluating ideas and knowledge. In short, the students of Pakistan dwells in a multi - lingual society and teachers about English are feeble and weak in most cases which causes impedes in obtaining the desired and planned achievements in this very subject.
