The article presents a study which examines different species of stingless male bees in Thailand, and the various appearances of male honey bees when compared to other bee species. It states that a colony of bees can be found in the garden of Phuket Island, Thailand, mostly near the entranceway of the nest, and that the greatest season of coupling happened between March and April wherein tropical climate can contribute to possible procreation. It also mentions that only male stingless bees with pollen or propolis are allowed to proceed with the reproduction process, while other males without pollen are rejected most of the time.
