The present study found huge inter-division income inequality in Punjab province of Pakistan by using PSLM survey data for the period 2010-11. The study used the combination of ten measures of inequality for the purpose of detailed comparison for the divisional headquarters of province Punjab, Pakistan. We measured income inequality by using several measures i.e. relative mean deviation, coefficient of variation, standard deviation of logs, Gini coefficient, Mehran measure, Piesch measure, Kakwani measure, Theil entropy measure, Theil mean log deviation measure, and Entropy measure GE -1. The results depict highest income inequality in Lahore division followed by Faisalabad & Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur & Sargodha, Gujranwala & Multan, and Sahiwal. Furthermore, several divisions have same income inequality, which includes Faisalabad and Rawalpindi. Bahawalpur & Sargodha and Gujranwala & Multan divisions also have same state of income inequality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
