The article presents information related to Quebec's efforts toward multiculturalism. Quebec plans to adopt an official policy to fight racism and racial discrimination, and advertise it in a province-wide campaign. Canada tries to portray itself to the world as the true model of multiculturalism but the reality is quite different. There is very little cross-cultural communication in Canada. The French do not speak to the English. The Chinese do not speak to the South Asians. Also, nobody speaks, to the blacks.
