Soy is the main commodity in Brazilian agriculture, however its cultivation faces a series of challenges, such as pests, diseases, soil nutritional imbalance and other factors. The objective of this work was to verify the influence of different previous cultures on the productivity and nutritional quality of soybean grains. The experiment took place in the city of Pejuçara, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil, in the 2019/20 agricultural season. The experiment took place in a 5X4 factorial scheme, in a randomized block design with four replications. The treatments composing by the combination of five soybean genotypes (BMX Lança IPRO, M 5838 IPRO, BMX Raio IPRO, BMX Zeus IPRO, DM57i52 IPRO), and four previous coverages. We measured morphological, productive and physicochemical characters of soybean grains. The data obtained were submitted to a density analysis, after which Pearson's linear correlation was performed in order to show the linear trend of association between the characters. Subsequently, Principal Component Analysis was performed to assess the interaction between the variables studied and the treatments. Moreover, cluster analysis to verify the levels of similarity that group the treatments. It is not possible to perceive a significant effect between the variables analyzed and the predecessor cultures used, in addition to the fact that in relation to bromatological quality, plant chemistry, productivity and nutritional quality of the grains, they presented values consistent with the literature. Thus, conclusion is that both predecessor cultures (oat, pasture, wheat and linseed) did not interfere directly in the soybean crop. Keywords: Glycine max L., bioactive compounds, main components. The objective was to study the adaptability and stability of soybean cultivars in the lowland production system under different conditions in a subtropical environment. Fourteen soybean cultivars were evaluated in five locations and three growing seasons in Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil. Three sowing dates were evaluated in each location and growing season and named as: early, recommended for high yield and recommended to minimize the risk of water deficiency. The experiment was carried out in a randomized complete block design, with three replicates. Yield data was submitted to analysis of variance, and the Eberhart and Russel method was used to study its adaptability and stability. In general, the cultivars that showed adaptability and stability to the three sowing dates showed MG between 5.6 to 6.4 and the type of indeterminate growth. The cultivars A 6411 RG, TEC 5936 IPRO and TECIRGA 6070 RR combined wide adaptability and stability, the cultivars Fundacep 65 RR and 6869 RSF RR presented high yield and stability of production and are recommended for lowland environments. This work aims to highlight the best soybean genotypes for specific environments in the Northwest Region of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. The experiment was carried out in the 2018/19 crop season in fifteen cultivation environments in the Northwest region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, using 52 soybean genotypes in 15 growing environments. The experimental design used was lattice with treatments (growing environments) arranged in three replications. In each useful area of the experimental unit, the grain productivity of the genotypes was evaluated. Then, the Restricted Maximum Likelihood (REML) method was applied to estimate the variance components and genetic parameters. The following variance components were estimated: Genetic variation (Vg) and phenotypic variation (Vp). The genetic parameters estimated were: broad sense heritability (H²), coefficient of genotypic variation (CVg), coefficient of residual variation (CVe), ratio between genetic and residual coefficient (CVr) and selective accuracy (Ac). The phenotypic expression of grain yield is determined by 17% due to genetic effects and 83% by the environment. The NS 6909 RR IPRO, NS 5445 IPRO, DM 5958 IPRO and DM 6563 IPRO genotypes showed greater genetic gains for grain yield. The aim of this study was to analyze the effects of molybdenum and inoculant application via seed treatment in soybean, and their role in the nitrate reductase enzyme activity, agronomic traits and physiological quality of the produced seeds. The experiment was conducted at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil. The treatments were shaped by five doses of molybdenum (zero; 16; 32; 48; 64 g.100kg-1 of seeds) combined with the presence and absence of liquid inoculant (Bradyrhizobium japonicum), at a dose of 200 mL per 100 kg of seeds. The evaluations of nitrate reductase activity, agronomic traits and physiological seed quality were performed in the present work. The measured agronomic traits were: plant height, number of pods per plant, number of seed per plant and thousand-seed weight. Standard germination test was executed to evaluate the produced seed viability. First germination counting, accelerated aging test, cold test, plantlet shoot and root length, plantlet shoot and root dry mass, and field seedling emergence were utilized to measure the seed vigour. Molybdenum, both in presence and absence of inoculant, positively influenced the enzymatic activity, for both vegetative and reproductive stages. The addition of inoculant and molybdenum provided increase in the vigour of the produced seeds. The enzyme activity was positively correlated with the agronomic traits and vigour tests. The addition of inoculant and molybdenum in the seed treatment provides a better expression of nitrate reductase activity and vigour of the produced seeds. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
