Abstract

Researchers at the University of Craiova in Romania have developed a new design for a lower limb prosthesis that utilizes magnetorheological fluids to recover and store energy during walking. The design includes a magnetorheological valve and rotary actuator to control the prosthesis dynamically. The researchers used SolidWorks and ANSYS software to simulate and analyze the dynamic behavior of the prosthesis.
