The article focuses on a faux pas faced by Scottish archaeologists when a site they estimated to carry remains of Vikings civilization turned out to carry a patio from the 1940s. A woman informed them that she found a huge slab while tiling her garden. The experts were very excited as they expected that they are about to find an evidence of a Norse civilization on the Scottish land. Douglas Speirs, Fife County Council's chief archaeologist, informed BBC news channel that since the site was next to the sea, things seemed positive. However when they dug out they found the sunken patio.
