In this article the author discusses aspects on the decline of house prices at the metropolitan area of Seoul in South Korea. He points out that the said decline began due to the falling demand caused by the government's strengthening of home equity loan regulations. In addition, he says that the government's massive injection of reasonably priced apartments and the construction of additional towns in the area worsen the downturn in home prices.
