The entry into force of the Spanish act about digital access (Ley 11/2007, BOE n. 150, de 23/6/2007) has produced a decisive impact on the development of records management projects in organizations. The Entitat Autònoma del Diari Oficial i de Publicacions, the body that publishes Diari Oficial de la Generalitat de Catalunya (DOGC) -the official journal of the Catalan government-, started its editing process adaptation to the electronic environment in 2009, based on Llei 2/2007 (DOGC, 5/6/2007), an act that defines the digital format as the only official format for DOGC. Two key projects in this process are presented: adoption and adaptation of EuroVoc thesaurus as an indexation tool, and the design of the new digital cycle of DOGC production and publication. Advertising, one of the leading communications media today, requires special techniques for research and documentation without which its effectiveness could be questioned. A brief study is made of advertising documentation in Spain from the theoretical and practical points of view. Then, the models for document management used in the agencies are studied and explained, and a definition of what is understood to be advertising documentation is drawn up. This paper reports about an experience of records management automation taking place at the Regional Government of Andalusia. The aim was making possible the document and archival management of its Autonomic Archives, and consisted in the development and application of the @rchivA Information System. It was developd in the context of the Electronic Administration Scheme of the Regional Government of Andalusia, as an cross-cutting and horizontal application for the development of the archival activity in this administration. This article tries to offer a panoramic vision on the state of the technological structure of the @rchivA Information System, that is adapted to the requirements of document management along each step of the whole life cycle of the records, as well as to the requirements of the archival management in administrative units that provide public services. The new model proposed by Telecinco (Spain's TV Channel 5) is based on bringing the technology closer to the user, providing maximum flexibility in information access and information sharing, and creating a multifunctional personal environment. The need to establish a strategic model for developing a corporate intranet is based on the case study of the Ayre Intranet of the City Government of Madrid. The proposed methodology for defining the model includes: a users study, a usability and accessibility study, a business process analysis and organizational model, and the identification of new content. The significant findings during the definition of the model are: the need to delimit the project, the decentralised organizational model, the systematisation of content management models, and the evolution towards document and records management.
