Introduction: The crisis in the SARSCoV-2 coronavirus causing COVID-19 is putting health systems around the world to the test. In a great effort to standardize the management and treatment guidelines, the different health authorities and scientific associations have tried to issue recommendations on how to act in this new and complex scenario. OBJECTIVE: To synthesize the existing evidence and recommendations about urological emergency surgery during the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Furthermore, we propose a general action protocol for these patients., Material and Methods: The document is based ont he scarce evidence on SARS / Cov-2 and the experience of the authors in the management of COVID-19 in their institutions, including specialists from Andalusia, Cantabria, Madrid and the Basque Country. A web and PubMed search was performed using the keywords "SARS-CoV-2", "COVID19",  "COVID Urology", "COVID19 surgery" and "emergency care". A narrative review of the literature was carried out until April 30, 2020, including only articles and documents written in Spanish and English. After the nominal group technique modified due to the extraordinary restrictions, a first draft was made to unify criteria. Finally, a definitive version was made, agreed by all the authors on May 12, 2020., Results: General principles of action are set out, as well as specific recommendations for the most frequent urgent urological procedures., Conclusions: Given the exceptional nature of the situation, there is a lack of evidence regarding the optimal management of the patient with urgent urological pathology. The information is changing, as the epidemiological knowledge of the disease advances. The establishment of multidisciplinary surgical committees that develop and implement action protocols appropriate to the different resources and particular situations of each center is recommended. Likewise, these committees must individually assess each possible urological surgical emergency situation and ensure compliance with protective measures for the patient and other healthcare personnel.

Introduction: The aim of this study was to determine the antimicrobial resistance rates and their evolution in clinical isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa causing invasive infections in the south of Spain between 2012 and 2017., Methods: Retrospective study consisting of the collection of microbiological data from 20 hospitals (14 from Andalucía, 5 from Extremadura and 1 from Ceuta) between 2012 and 2017. The main variables studied were the antimicrobial susceptibility testing system used, interpretation criteria (CLSI or EUCAST) and the rate or percentage of resistant isolates., Results: The most widely used antimicrobial susceptibility testing system was MicroScan (58%). The global resistance rates varied between 25% (ciprofloxacin) and 4% (colistin) using EUCAST, and between 19% (ciprofloxacin and imipenem) and 3% (amikacin) using CLSI. The antimicrobial resistance rates were relatively stable throughout the period 2012-2017. 14% of isolates were MDR and 7% were XDR. Respiratory isolates were more resistant, particularly to ciprofloxacin and colistin, than isolates from urine or blood., Conclusions: The antimicrobial resistance rates in P. aeruginosa are not particularly high in the south of Spain. The highest resistance rates were observed with ciprofloxacin, piperacillin/tazobactam and meropenem, whereas the more active antimicrobials were colistin, tobramycin and amikacin. The highest resistance rates were seen in respiratory isolates. A consequence of modern agriculture and its dependence on herbicides, is the appearance of resistant weed populations. The first case of resistance on the Iberian Peninsula was found in Portugal and it was in a population of Alisma plantago-aquatica, resistant to bensulfuronmethyl, an ALS-inhibitor. For the same herbicide, control problems with Cyperus difformis were found in some Spanish rice fields. In the same rice field area, tolerance was observed in some Echinochloa spp. when auxinic herbicides (quinclorac) were used and some resistant Echinochloa spp. populations were found due to the long use of PS II inhibitors herbicides (propanil). The association of active ingredients, rotation of crops and adoption of mechanical control methods are the main strategies to combat resistance to herbicides.

Hypodermyiasis is a common myiasis which affects a wide variety of deer species in many parts of the world. In this article a great review of the disease is made, treating the different species of flies that cause the myiasis in the different species of hosts. Biologies of deer and flies are also studied, with special dedication to the chronobiology of the life cycle of the parasite. Prevalence and intensity of parasitization in many parts of Europe are recorded like expression of the importance of hypodermyiasis in deer. Finally, some remarks about treatment and control are included.

Between 1991 and 1993, it was observed epidemiologically that respiratory disturbances in lambs are associated with high temperatures during the summer. The etiological agent isolated is principally Mycoplasma ovipneumoniae; moreover, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae biovar A has been isolated in a high number of samples. Histopathologically, an interstitial bronchopneumonia was the main lesional finding; this lesion is associated with previous mycoplasma infection.
