Abstract

The article studies the impact of aging on atrial fibrillation (AF) substrate as well as to the structures of the left atrium (LA) and pulmonary veins (PVs) by researchers from Taiwan. It evaluates the effect of aging among 180 patients undergoing multidetector CT. It is proven that age significantly determines LA and PV structures which is helpful in aging-induced AF among these people.
