Abstract

The article features a study, funded by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, that assesses the simple chemical synthesis of unsymetrically substituted (ϒ-Oxoalkyl) phosphine Oxides in Tatarstan, Russia. In the said process, researchers noticed that the reaction of phosphorus-containing heterocycles resulted to 95% targeted (1-methyl-4-oxopent-2-yl)phosphine oxides.
