The article investigates the cosmological structure formation of the universe, as studied by researchers in Austin, Texas. The study presented how the formation of the first stars depended on the detailed properties of the dark matter. The star formation in the early universe was claimed to be different from the present, in the sense that stars today were formed in giant clouds of molecular gas and dust embedded in the disks of large galaxies. On the other hand, the first stars came forth inside agglomerates of primordial gas and dark matter with a total mass of a million times that of the sun. It was further stated that the first stars have changed the early universe at the end of the cosmic ages.
