Moldova faces substantial agri-food security challenges, including the availability, accessibility, and affordability of safe, nutritious food for its population. With high poverty rates and a large rural population relying on agriculture, Moldova's agricultural sector has small landholdings, low productivity, and insufficient investment in modern technologies. Climate change and extreme weather events have led to declines in agricultural production and increased dependence on imports for food needs. The recent COVID-19 pandemic and regional conflict in Ukraine have exacerbated food insecurity, causing rising food prices and reduced availability. This paper uses a SWOT framework to analyze Moldova's agri-food security, identifying areas for improvement and potential strategies for enhancing resilience and sustainability. Findings emphasize the importance of integrated, multi-sectoral approaches, promoting sustainable agricultural practices, investing in modern technologies, and fostering collaboration among the government, international organizations, and stakeholders. By addressing these challenges and leveraging opportunities, Moldova can improve the long-term resilience and competitiveness of its agri-food sector while ensuring food security for its population. In the article, based on the methods of grouping and classification, the approaches to the interpretation of transport and logistics infrastructure proposed by various scientific schools are conventionally systematized. An author's approach to defining the meaning of the terms "transport infrastructure" and "logistics infrastructure" is proposed. Financial, economic, social, and informational factors influencing the level of investment attractiveness of transport and logistics enterprises have been identified. The approach to evaluating the effectiveness of innovative activities in the transport sector is substantiated, the use of which will allow examining the current state of the government regulation processes, the decision-making and goal-setting support system, and institutional provision. An organizational model of the national innovative transport hub and an approach to evaluating its functioning are proposed. Proposals have been made for diagnosing the investment attractiveness of transport infrastructure objects, selecting priority projects for government funding, and forming public-private partnership models for the innovative development of transport infrastructure. An investment strategy has been developed, the main provisions of which should be based on the established investment policy of enterprises in the field of transport and logistics. The relevance of the problem of modernization of transport and logistics infrastructure in the context of sustainable development and recovery of the national economy of Ukraine at the current stage is proven. The key vectors of the modernization of the transport and logistics infrastructure have been established, which include green transformation (decarbonization, implementation of the mechanism of green logistics, green investment as a non-traditional source of financial support for the implementation of infrastructure projects), innovative technologies, public-private partnership, clustering, digitalization (digital logistics, digital transport technologies). While success in current and future conflicts will increasingly be predicated by optimisation of high-tech solutions rather than military capabilities based on mass, the application of modern business approaches is of key importance for reforms aiming to adapt security and defence to the new realities. This article presents detailed analysis of ways to adapt the security and defence sector of Ukraine to Euro-Atlantic standards, taking into account Ukraine's trajectory and growing interaction with the international security systems and the specific context shaped by the external aggression against Ukraine. Based on the analysis of existing legislation and review of theoretical sources, the author concludes that the present archaic, post-Soviet type security and defence sector of Ukraine is not adequate to the future complex challenges. Further, he applies the ecosystem approach to elaborate recommendations for the development of a modern model of national security and defence organisation based on functional integration of the capabilities of all main security and defence actors, emphasising the strategic importance of the integration of Ukraine's security and defence sector into European and Euro-Atlantic security systems. The article deals with the structure of the company's own capital and the definition and formation of its individual elements, such as registered and reserve capital, in accordance with the normative accounting documents and legislative acts of Ukraine. The classification of the equity (invested and accumulated capital) of the enterprise by the National (Regulation) accounting standard 1 "General requirements for financial statements" and by sources of its formation has been considered. The necessity of formation and use of a comprehensive approach to the financial analysis of the company's equity in the management system has been analyzed and substantiated. The scientific result of the research is the formation of a comprehensive approach to the financial analysis of the equity of an industrial enterprise, which is relevant in the current market conditions of operation of enterprises and covers the analysis of its dynamics, structure, turnover, profitability, risk and its protection. The calculations according to the formed approach have been made on the basis of data of the enterprise of confectionery industry. The practical importance of the work is directed to the application of this method of equity analysis as a tool of financial analysis in the modern conditions of management of industrial enterprises to ensure the efficiency of their activities and management. Article gives detailed analysis of ways to adapt security and defense sector (SDS) of Ukraine according to the modern requirements, taking into account the necessity of constant interaction with the international security systems. A special attention is payed to the particular conditions for SDS transformation in Ukraine, namely external aggression against Ukraine and rapid development of approaches towards building of national and international security systems. In his study the author analyses both theoretical background of creation and operation of the SDS of Ukraine, including the Law of Ukraine «On National Security of Ukraine», and proceedings of leading Western scientists, in particular Josef O’Connor, Ian Makdermot and Neil, F. Johnson, who give key definitions for complex systems. Author concludes that present Ukrainian SDS model has only partial features of complex system with archaic post-soviet type links between its components. With understanding of all weaknesses of such system, Oleksander Polischuk applies the ecosystem approach to elaborate recommendations for its improvement up to modern SDS model, which envisages functional integration of the capabilities of all its components. While convincing that victory in present and future conflicts belongs to high-tech but not the most numerous army, author prefers application of modern business technologies for the SDS reform, which have been already verified by leading world powers. In the conclusion author states hat proposed approaches reflect strategic tasks of the Ukrainian SDS integration into European and Euro-Atlantic security systems. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
