The article presents information on Section 31 of the Finance Act 2012 of Great Britain which deals with tax treatment of financing costs and income. It informs that the Public Bills Committee of Great Britain had debate on section 31 and Schedule 5' dealing with taxation of financial services companies. It also informs worldwide debt cap is not applied in case the net debt of Great Britain exceeds 75 per cent of the worldwide gross debt.
