FERTILIZATION in vitro - Abstract
The article explains how the risks associated with in vitro fertilization (IVF) could outweigh the benefits. The wider range of indications to which the scope of IVF has expanded since 1978 are discussed. The other types of subfertility by which IVF has been applied to are also mentioned. Highlighted as well are statistics on the rising rates of IVF.
