The article examines the influence of institutional investors on the largest companies in the U.S. as of June 2015. These institutional investors include Blackrock, Vanguard, and Capital Group which are changing firm's orders and own most shares in almost all large firms. Also discussed are the conflict between DuPont chief executive Ellen Kullman and activist investor Nelson Pletz over the board of directors, index investing, and the changes in corporate governance.
