The article provides an overview of the solutions for the problems involved in the ocean resource management in the U.S. It has been observed that ocean governance in this country has only concentrated on an individual sector. In view of this, many scientists have come up with the analysis that this marine trouble can be solved through an ecosystem-based management solution which is associated with comprehensive ocean zoning. Fishery management which considers fishing as an important factor in the biological diversity is also one of the management regimes in managing marine resources.
