Abstract

The article discusses the study "Effectiveness of Reading and Mathematics Software Products: Findings From the First Student Cohort" released by the National Center for Education Evaluation and Regional Assistance in the U.S. It cites that the key finding of the study is the use of preselected educational software products did not make a significant difference in student test scores. It notes that the investigation of technology use would help in the understanding of the interaction of students and teachers with educational software.
