Abstract
Discusses the use of ink attachment force to paper in paper recycling operations by researchers from Vancouver, British Columbia. Introduction of a range of ink and paper combinations into the feed furnish of a newspaper deinking plant; Problems encountered in attaining pulp quality targets during changes in furnish composition; Measurement of the ink removal as a function of applied force for various ink-paper combination found in a typical old newspaper feed furnish.
