Abstract

The article presents a study on a Neonothopanus nambi fungus which inhabiting in tropical forests of South Vietnam. It states that spectral analysis in mycelium extracts of N. nambi was carried out using a Varian Cary Eclipse spectrofluorometer and Uvikon 943 UV/VIS spectrophotometer in which the extracts were produced through mechanical disintegration of mycelium. It adds that a low molecular weight thermostable component activating fungal luminescence was discovered in N. nambi extracts.
