The article presents British actor Ioan Gruffudd memories of his school years and his favorite teacher. Gruffudd attended secondary school at Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaff in Cardiff, Wales. He recalls music teacher Alun Guy, whom he credits for his confidence. He describes Guy as young in spirit and an amazing musician. He helped students understand how to take tests as well as preparing them for the content assessment. He notes that Guy was encouraging, supportive, and friendly.
