The objective of this study is to understand how Living Lab(s) (LL) as a concept and research approach has developed, proliferated and influenced scholarly research to date. The goal is in assisting both the LL and Action Design Research (ADR) communities in advancing both fields by establishing understanding, commonalities and challenges in advancing both research agendas. We adopt a bibliometric methodology to understand the scholarly impact, contribution and intellectual structure of LL as a new approach to innovation. We conclude with recommendations on advancing both ADR and LL fields of research, highlighting that increased cross-collaboration going forward offers clear opportunities to both fields.

El profesional de la información (EPI) es una de las principales revistas científicas españolas sobre información, comunicación, bibliotecas y nuevas tecnologías de la información incluida en índices internacionales como los JCR, y SJR. EPI cuenta con una trayectoria de más de 20 años, lo que le ha convertido en una fuente de referencia y escaparate para el desarrollo de investigaciones en los ámbitos antes mencionados. En este sentido, resulta necesario entender cuáles son las principales líneas que se están desarrollando dentro del marco de la revista, sus principales autores y el impacto que tienen sus publicaciones en el desarrollo del estado del arte. En respuesta a esta necesidad, esta publicación analiza los últimos cinco años (2014-2018) de EPI utilizando SciMAT como herramienta bibliométrica para la creación de mapas de ciencia, identificando las áreas temáticas que han sido objeto de investigación durante el periodo de análisis, su composición, relación y peso en la evolución de la revista

This study is the second of two studies which assess the intellectual development of MIS. The present study documents the current intellectual structure of MIS research based on an author co-citation analysis. Five invisible colleges, or informal clusters of research activity, were identified (foundations; psychological approaches to MIS design and use; MIS management; organizational approaches to MIS design and use; and curriculum). When contrasted with the earlier study, these results suggest that MIS has made significant progress toward a cumulative research tradition.

When the war was over and our men slowly wandered home from the prison camps, it was natural that every prediction about the future of German painting should end in uncertainty. The basic intellectual structure of the nation had been demolished. As far as art was concerned, the clearcut consistency that had characterized the development of German painting since the turn of the century had been brutally interrupted and the harmonious interplay with the art of other European countries had been destroyed. The German painter was completely isolated; the masters who might have given new morale to the new painters were no longer alive. Klee had died at Locarno in 1940, Kandinsky at Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1944. The greatest painter of the “Brucke” group had shot himself at Davos in 1938. With the passing of Klee, Kandinsky, and Kirchner, the pillars on which a new art might have been organized were shattered.
