The paper presents a study on the assessment of male fertility by investigating 36 men who presented themselves at the "Dr. Popa Emilia "from Bacău during the period April - June 2016. Spermograms were used as working methods, taking into account: the number of sperm, mobility, morphology and pH, spermoculture carried out on blood-cultured jealously and MacConkey and the propulsivity index (sperm fertilization capacity) calculated according to Farres' formula. 1016 patients diagnosed with neoplasm or suspicion of neoplasm from the Bacau Emergency County Hospital were investigated during the months of May, June and July 2016. Biopsy tissue fragments were processed and interpreted by the technique of the serial sections in the laboratory of pathological anatomy. Cases of cancer were recorded and processed statisticallyby IBM SPSS Statistics 20 program.A general statistical situation in the whole group of patients investigated over the 3 months - 1016 patients, in fact, shows the already clear situation, namely the high incidence of breast cancer among women (52.5%) and prostate cancer among males (31.2%), but also a fairly high frequency of colon cancer (17.2%) and lung cancer (12.1%) in both sexes. During 2003-2008 and in 2014 the monitoring of the Ciobănuş, Uz and Slănic rivers, important tributaries of the Trotuş River, was carried out. Variations in water physico-chemical indicators (thermal regime and pH oxygen regime, nutrients, salinity, toxic pollutants and other relevant chemical indicators) have been taken into account in the study sections at the time of collection, according to ORDIN No. 161 of 16.02.2006 and some assessments have been made on the ecological state of the rivers. Water quality in all collection sections was kept clean (Class II quality) as a result of the legislative measures that have been taken on the restoration and protection of aquatic ecosystems. The bioremediation of the soils which were contamined with oil hydrocarbons constitutes an active preoccupation on the national and international level as well. In this paper is presented the situation of soils from Romania regarding their pollution with oil hydrocarbons and are enumerated the most important bioremediation technologies and the most important factors which can influence the treatment of oil hydrocarbons polluted soils. In the period March 2006 - April 2016 were identified a total of ten species of amphibians in Roman town, in the municipal park, on neighbouring farmland where there are irrigation ditches, in temporary and permanent pools, in the area of the bridge over Moldova River (joining Roman town with Cotu Vameş village), before its flowing into Siret River, in the Siret river in the vicinity of Roman town and the bridge over Siret, joining Roman and Gadinti, as well as in Gadinti forest from Neamt County. The study contributes to a better knowledge of the species of amphibians from the area identifying three vulnerable species, four nearly endangered species and three species which are still unevaluated. This paper presents a study of embryonic development, larval and post-larval (metamorphosis) of the frogs of the species Rana dalmatina F. (agile frog) under laboratory conditions. This species has a shrinking population and is declared strictly protected species. Egg collection was made in one of the breeding ponds Gadinti the commune, Neamt County, March 2014. Study, conducted with low material brings valuable data about the conditions of their embryonic, larval and post-larval and possibility of increasing laboratory frogs important aspects for understanding and conserving this species of amphibians. In the period 2010-2015 the monitoring of the incidence of Cd and its compounds in the waters of the Trotuş River and its main tributaries (Uz, Urmeniş, Tazlăul Sărat, Tazlău, Slănic, Plopu, Oituz, Izvorul Alb, Ciobănuş, Caşin, Asău) was carried out. There have been some exceedances of acceptable Cd concentrations during the 2010-2011 monitoring period, on the Uz River and the Izvorul Alb - upstream section of Lake Poiana Uzului. In the following years, 2012-2015, in all monitoring sections, Cd and its compounds concentrations were within or below the detection limit of the analyzer. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
