- Abstract
This work offers the constraints on the anomalous neutral triple gauge couplings for the process e + e - → Z Z at the CLIC with s = 3 TeV. The realistic CLIC detector environments and their effects are considered in our analysis. The study is planned for the decays of produced Z bosons to a pair of charged leptons (electrons or muons) and neutrino pairs. The bounds on the anomalous neutral triple gauge couplings defining CP-violating C B ~ W / Λ 4 coupling and three CP-conserving C WW / Λ 4 , C BW / Λ 4 , and C BB / Λ 4 couplings are obtained. Also, the effects and advantages of polarization for incoming electron beams in these calculations are investigated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Spontaneous breaking of the SU 2 L × U 1 Y electroweak symmetry of the standard model (SM) sets the constraints on triple and quartic gauge couplings. Therefore, the measurement of multiboson production in e − e + collisions allows us to directly test the predictions of the SM and to indirectly probe new physics beyond the SM. In this paper, we focus on the process e − e + → e − Z γ e + with Z boson decaying into neutrinos to study the anomalous quartic gauge couplings using the effective Lagrangian approach at the compact linear collider (CLIC). We obtain the sensitivities on the anomalous f T, i /Λ4 (i = 0, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) couplings taking into account the systematic uncertainties of 3, 5% at 95% Confidence Level for the CLIC with s = 3 TeV. Our results show that the sensitivities on some anomalous couplings without systematic errors are up to two orders of magnitude better than the current experimental limits. Considering a realistic systematic uncertainty such as 5% from possible experimental sources, the sensitivity of all anomalous quartic couplings becomes worse by about 10% compared to those without systematic uncertainty for the CLIC. - Abstract
The non-Abelian gauge structure of the Standard Model (SM) implies the presence of multi-boson self-interactions. Precise measurements of these interactions allow testing the nature of the SM and new physics contributions arising from the beyond SM. The investigation of these interactions can be approached in a model-independent manner using an effective theory approach, which forms the main motivation of this study. In this paper, we examine the anomalous neutral quartic gauge couplings through the process γ γ → Z Z at the Compact Linear Collider with the center-of-mass energy of s = 3 TeV and integrated luminosity of L = 5 a b - 1 . The anomalous neutral quartic gauge couplings are implemented into FeynRules to generate a UFO module inserted into Madgraph to create background and signal events. These events are passed through Pythia 8 for parton showering and Delphes to include realistic detector effects. We obtain that the sensitivities on the anomalous quartic neutral gauge couplings with 95 % Confidence Level are given as: f T 0 / Λ 4 = [ - 1.06 ; 1.08 ] × 10 - 3 TeV - 4 , f T 1 / Λ 4 = [ - 1.06 ; 1.08 ] × 10 - 3 TeV - 4 , f T 2 / Λ 4 = [ - 1.06 ; 1.08 ] × 10 - 3 TeV - 4 , f T 0 / Λ 4 = [ - 1.06 ; 1.08 ] × 10 - 3 TeV - 4 , f T 5 / Λ 4 = [ - 4.08 ; 4.08 ] × 10 - 4 TeV - 4 and f T 8 / Λ 4 = [ - 1.10 ; 1.10 ] × 10 - 4 TeV - 4 . Our results on the anomalous quartic neutral gauge couplings are set to a more stringent sensitivity concerning the recent experimental limits. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Aim: Changes in the metabolic, endocrine, and immune systems caused by surgical trauma and pain are associated with increased concentrations of the biological mediators such as cytokines. Preemptive epidural analgesia may affect pain caused by surgical trauma and the corresponding neurohumoral response induced by the neuromediators. This study investigated the effects of preemptive epidural analgesia on postoperative pain and cytokine levels. Methods: A total of 60 children undergoing urological surgery were randomly assigned to either the preemptive epidural analgesia (Preempt EA, n=31) group or the postoperative epidural analgesia (Postop EA, n=29) group. Epidural infusion was started before the surgical incision in Preempt EA group and after the peritoneal closure in the Postop EA group. Blood samples were collected preoperatively (before anesthesia induction), 1 h and 24 h after surgery. Plasma TNF-α and IL-2 levels were measured by ELISA. Postoperative pain was assessed using the FACES pain scale, and postoperative analgesia was evaluated 1 h and 24 h after surgery. Results: Although TNF-α levels were increased 1 h and 24 h after surgery compared to preoperative levels in both groups, the levels were significantly higher in the Postop EA group. IL-2 levels were significantly higher at both postoperative time points in the Preempt EA group than in the Postop EA group. There were no significant differences in pain scores between the groups. Conclusion: Our results suggest that preemptive epidural analgesia may attenuate the proinflammatory response but has no effect on pain intensity. (The Medical Bulletin of Haseki 2013;51:162-7)

- Abstract
The non-Abelian gauge structure of the Standard Model implies the presence of the multi-boson self-interactions. Precise measurements in experimental and theoretical studies of these interactions allow not only testing the nature of the Standard Model but also new physics contribution coming from the beyond Standard Model. These interactions can be examined using a model-independent way in effective theory approach that composes the motivation part of this study. In this paper, we examine the anomalous ZZγ and Zγγ neutral triple gauge couplings via the process e−e+→Zγ for the neutrino-antineutrino pair decay of Z boson. It has performed with both unpolarized and polarized electron beams at the Compact Linear Collider with s=3 TeV. The study focused on CP-conserving CB˜W/Λ4 and CP-violating CBB/Λ4, CBW/Λ4, CWW/Λ4 couplings. Obtained sensitivities on the anomalous neutral triple gauge couplings with 95% Confidence Level are given with systematic uncertainties of 0%, 5% and 10% for unpolarized, −80% and 80% polarized electron beams with integrated luminosities of Lint=5 ab−1, Lint=4 ab−1 and Lint=1 ab−1, respectively. Comparing the latest experimental limits and related phenomenological studies, our results on the anomalous neutral gauge couplings are set more stringent sensitivity between 10-30 times of magnitude.

One of the richest genres of Islamic Turkish literature is “mawlid”. With the new studies carried out, unknown new mawlid authors and mawlids continue to be added to our mawlid literature. The resulting texts show that the interest in mawlid writing is much more widespread than other types of religious literature, not only numerically but also in terms of time and space. The tradition of writing mawlids, which started in the first years of the 15th century in our literature, continued until the beginning of the 20th century. One of the last period mawlids is the poet's Mawlid al-Nabi with the pseudonym Rushdi. We can find some information about Rushdi, which is not included in the well-known biographical and bibliographic sources of the period, between the lines of his voluminous “Kulliyât”, which also includes Mevlid. According to this, it is not known when Rushdi, who was probably born in Hijri 1283 (1866-67) and was in civil service in various provinces, wrote his Mawlid, which is a part of his Kulliyat, which he completed in a long time. Rushdi’s Mawlid, whose copy of the author’s calligraphy is in our personal library, is a mathnawi of 256 couplets written in the form of aruz meter fâilâtün fâilâtün failün, like most of the other mawlids written within the framework of tradition. In this study, after the biography of Rushdi, the author of Mawlid, is revealed in line with the information that can be determined from his work, Mawlid al-Nabi will be introduced and the transcripted text of the work will be published., İslâmî Türk edebiyatının en zengin türlerinden biri “mevlid”dir.

- Abstract
The potential of the process γγ→ττ¯γ is examined in a model-independent way using the effective Lagrangian approach for the International Linear Collider, a proposed electron-positron machine which is designed with standard configurations of 0.25 TeV/2000 fb$^{−1}$, 0.35 TeV/200 fb$^{−1}$ and 0.5 TeV/4000 fb$^{−1}$. The limits obtained for the tau lepton's anomalous magnetic dipole moment a˜τ and the tau lepton's anomalous electric dipole moment d˜τ defining the anomalous ττ¯γ couplings at 95% confidence level and systematic uncertainties of δsys=0,5,10% are compared with the experimental results. The best limits obtained with δsys=0% on the anomalous couplings are −0.00082

- Abstract
We investigate the anomalous W+W−γ couplings through the process e−e+→νeν‾eγ for unpolarized and polarized electron (positron) beams at the International Linear Collider. We give the 95% Confidence Level limits on the anomalous couplings with and without the systematic uncertainties for various values of center-of-mass energies and the integrated luminosities. We show that the obtained limits on the anomalous couplings through the process e−e+→νeν‾eγ can highly improve the current experimental limits.

We carry out a study in the approach of a dimension-8 effective field theory on the anomalous quartic $WW\gamma\gamma$ couplings that arise from the process $pp \to W\gamma\gamma$ at the Future Circular Collider-hadron hadron (FCC-hh). The process is sensitive to the $WW\gamma\gamma$ vertex, and future projections on the anomalous $f_ {M,i}/\Lambda^4$ and $ f_ {T,j}/\Lambda^4$ couplings can be put by measurements of $W\gamma\gamma$ production. We illustrate the physics opportunities and reach of the FCC-hh operating for a high integrated luminosity scenario of ${\cal L}=1, 5, 10, 30$ ${\rm ab}^{-1}$ of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}=100$ TeV and systematic uncertainties of $\delta_{sys}=0\%, 3\%, 5\%, 10\%$. Production cross-sections of the signal and the sensitivity constraints on the anomalous $f_ {M,i}/\Lambda^4$ and $ f_ {T,j}/\Lambda^4$ couplings at $95\%$ C.L. are identified through the leptonic and hadronic decay modes of the $W$-boson. The FCC-hh sensitivity on these anomalous couplings is expected might reach up to the order of magnitude ${\cal O}(10^{-4}-10^1)$. These sensitivity perspectives indicate that the $pp \to W\gamma\gamma$ channel at the FCC-hh has a greater potential to search for the anomalous quartic $WW\gamma\gamma$ couplings and to search for new physics than present colliders., Comment: 29 pages, 8 figures

- Abstract
In this paper, a study is carried out on the $$e^-p \rightarrow e^-\gamma ^* p \rightarrow p W^-\gamma \nu _e$$ e - p → e - γ ∗ p → p W - γ ν e production to probe quartic $$W^+W^-\gamma \gamma $$ W + W - γ γ couplings at the Large Hadron electron Collider (LHeC) with $$\sqrt{s}= 1.30, 1.98\,\hbox {TeV}$$ s = 1.30 , 1.98 TeV and at the Future Circular Collider-hadron electron (FCC-he) with $$\sqrt{s}= 3.46, 5.29\,\hbox {TeV}$$ s = 3.46 , 5.29 TeV . Production cross-sections are determined for both at leptonic and hadronic decay channels of the W-boson. With the data from future $$e^-p$$ e - p colliders, it is possible to obtain sensitivity measures at $$95\%$$ 95 % C.L. on the anomalous $$f_ {M,i}/\Lambda ^4$$ f M , i / Λ 4 and $$ f_ {T,j}/\Lambda ^4$$ f T , j / Λ 4 couplings which are competitive with the limits obtained by the LHC, as well as with others limits reported in the literature. The production mode $$e^-p \rightarrow e^-\gamma ^* p \rightarrow p W^-\gamma \nu _e $$ e - p → e - γ ∗ p → p W - γ ν e in $$e^-p$$ e - p collisions offers a window for study the quartic $$W^+W^-\gamma \gamma $$ W + W - γ γ electroweak bosons couplings at the LHeC and the FCC-he, which provides a much cleaner collision environment than the LHC.

- Abstract
In this study, we investigate the potential of μ - μ + → Z γ → ν ν ¯ γ process at the future muon collider with a center-of-mass energy of 3 TeV to examine the anomalous ZZ γ and Z γ γ neutral triple gauge couplings defining CP-conserving C B ~ W / Λ 4 coupling and three CP-violating C BB / Λ 4 , C BW / Λ 4 , C WW / Λ 4 couplings. All signal and relevant background events are generated in MadGraph and passed through Pythia for parton showering and hadronization. Detector effects are also considered via tuned muon detector cards in Delphes. The effects of systematic uncertainties of 0 % , 3 % and 5 % on the sensitivities are studied. The best sensitivities obtained from the process μ - μ + → Z γ → ν ν ¯ γ are [ - 6.53 ; 6.64 ] × 10 - 2 TeV - 4 on CP-conserving C B ~ W / Λ 4 coupling and [ - 2.47 ; 2.47 ] × 10 - 2 TeV - 4 , [ - 8.46 ; 8.46 ] × 10 - 2 TeV - 4 and [ - 2.20 ; 2.20 ] × 10 - 1 TeV - 4 on CP-conserving C BB / Λ 4 , C BW / Λ 4 , C WW / Λ 4 couplings , respectively. Our obtained results on the anomalous neutral gauge couplings set more stringent sensitivity, ranging between 5 and 15 times than the current experimental results while slightly better than the phenomenological studies at future pp colliders such as the HL-LHC, the HE-LHC and the FCC-hh, respectively. On the other hand, we can see that the bounds on the anomalous neutral gauge couplings expected to be obtained for the future e - e + colliders such as the CLIC are roughly 2 times better than our results.

- Abstract
The Large Hadron–Electron Collider (LHeC) is designed to move the field of deep inelastic scattering (DIS) to the energy and intensity frontier of particle physics. Exploiting energy-recovery technology, it collides a novel, intense electron beam with a proton or ion beam from the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC). The accelerator and interaction region are designed for concurrent electron–proton and proton–proton operations. This report represents an update to the LHeC's conceptual design report (CDR), published in 2012. It comprises new results on the parton structure of the proton and heavier nuclei, QCD dynamics, and electroweak and top-quark physics. It is shown how the LHeC will open a new chapter of nuclear particle physics by extending the accessible kinematic range of lepton–nucleus scattering by several orders of magnitude. Due to its enhanced luminosity and large energy and the cleanliness of the final hadronic states, the LHeC has a strong Higgs physics programme and its own discovery potential for new physics. Building on the 2012 CDR, this report contains a detailed updated design for the energy-recovery electron linac (ERL), including a new lattice, magnet and superconducting radio-frequency technology, and further components. Challenges of energy recovery are described, and the lower-energy, high-current, three-turn ERL facility, PERLE at Orsay, is presented, which uses the LHeC characteristics serving as a development facility for the design and operation of the LHeC. An updated detector design is presented corresponding to the acceptance, resolution, and calibration goals that arise from the Higgs and parton-density-function physics programmes. This paper also presents novel results for the Future Circular Collider in electron–hadron (FCC-eh) mode, which utilises the same ERL technology to further extend the reach of DIS to even higher centre-of-mass energies.

- Abstract
Gauge boson self-couplings are completely defined by the non-Abelian gauge symmetry of the Standard Model (SM), thus direct search for these couplings are extremely significant in understanding the gauge structure of the SM. The possible deviation from the SM predictions of gauge boson self-couplings would be a sign of the presence of new physics beyond the SM. In this work, we study the sensitivities on the anomalous couplings defined by dimension-8 operators related to the $ZZ\gamma\gamma$ and $Z\gamma\gamma\gamma$ quartic vertices through the process $e^+e^- \to Z\gamma\gamma$ with Z-boson decaying to charged leptons at the Compact Linear Collider (CLIC). We analyze the center-of-mass energy of 3 TeV, integrated luminosities of ${\cal L}=1, 4, 5$ $\rm ab^{-1}$, systematic uncertainties of $\delta_{sys}=0\%, 5\%, 10\%$, and unpolarized and polarized electron beams for extraction of expected sensitivity on the anomalous $f_ {T,j}/\Lambda^4$ couplings at $95\%$ confidence level, which are especially sensitive to the $Z\gamma\gamma$ channel. It is clear from the results that if the systematic error is improved, we expect better limits on the couplings. The best limits obtained on the anomalous quartic couplings for the process $e^+e^- \to Z\gamma\gamma$ with $\sqrt{s}= 3$ TeV, ${\cal L}=5$ $\rm ab^{-1}$ and $\delta_{sys}=0\%$ can be approximately improved up to about two times better than the limits obtained with $\delta_{sys}=10\%$. Our sensitivities on the anomalous quartic couplings with $\delta_{sys}=0\%$ can set more stringent sensitivity by two orders of magnitude concerning the best sensitivity derived from the current experimental limits. Finally, with initial electron beam polarization, the sensitivity of the anomalous quartic couplings improves by almost a factor of 1.2., Comment: 38 pages, 22 figures

In this study, we analyze formation control (formation of a geometrical shape) of an autonomous multi-robot system with the use of artificial potential functions and Newton's iteration. The method is independent of the low-level vehicle dynamics of the robots and therefore it can be applied to different type of robots. We also perform numerical simulations to examine the performance of the method. © 2007 EUCA.

- Abstract
In this article we consider the aggregation, foraging, and formation control of swarms whose agents are moving in 2-dimensions with non-holonomic unicycle agent dynamics. We approach these problems using artificial potentials and sliding mode control. The main contribution is extension of the recent results (mainly for aggregation)in the literature based on a similar approach for simple integrator agent dynamics models to a significantly more realistic and more difficult setting with non-holonomic unicycle agent dynamics models. In particular, we design continuous-time control schemes via a constructive analysis based on artificial potential functions and sliding mode control techniques. The effectiveness of the proposed designs are demonstrated analytically as well as via a set of simulation results.
