Bu çalışmada, sosyal bilgiler dersinde kavram temelli disiplinler arası yaklaşım kullanılarak tasarlanan ünitenin uygulama ve otantik değerlendirme süreci incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla ilk olarak sınıfta kavram öğretimi, disiplinler arası yaklaşım ve otantik değerlendirmeye ilişkin mevcut durum ortaya konmuştur. Araştırmada genel amaç doğrultusunda, tasarlanan ünitenin uygulamasında karşılan sorunlar ve bu sorunların çözüm önerileri, uygulamanın öğrenme öğretme sürecine etkisi, öğrencilerin otantik değerlendirme sürecine yönelik algıları ve uygulamaların kavramların kazanılmasına etkisi de araştırılmıştır. Kavram temelli disiplinler arası yaklaşım kullanılarak tasarlanan ünitenin uygulama ve otantik değerlendirme sürecinin incelendiği bu araştırma eylem araştırması olarak yürütülmüştür. Araştırma 2013-2014 eğitim-öğretim yılı güz ve bahar döneminde bir devlet okulunda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma gurubunu amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilmiş 12'si erkek, yedisi kız toplam 19 dördüncü sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmuştur.Araştırma verileri, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme, yapılandırılmamış gözlem (kamera kayıtları), otantik değerlendirme araçları (rubrikler ve düzey belirleme kontrol listeleri), öğrenci çalışma örnekleri, araştırmacı ve öğrenci günlükleri ve kavram testi ile toplanmıştır. Uygulama öncesinde uygulama yapılan sınıftaki mevcut durumu ortaya koymak için, bir ünite süresince gözlem ve öğrencilerle ön görüşme yapılmıştır. Uygulama aşamasında Jacobs'ın (1989) ve (2004) önerdiği disiplinler arası program tasarım modeli temel alınarak tasarlanan Çevre ünitesi 32 ders saatinde uygulanmıştır. Uygulamada eylem araştırması süreci döngülere dayalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Her döngüde araştırma öncesi her kavram için hazırlanan ders planının uygulama aşaması izlenmiş, ortaya çıkan sorunları çözmek için eylem planları geliştirilmiş ve sorun çözüldükten sonra bir sonraki döngüye geçilmiştir. Öğrencilerin derslerin kazanımlarını elde edip etmediklerini belirlemek için uygulanan otantik değerlendirme etkinlikleri, rubrikler ve düzey belirleme kontrol listeleri yardımıyla incelenmiştir. Araştırma sürecini değerlendirmek için öğrencilerle süreç görüşmeleri yapılmıştır. Uygulamadaki sekiz döngü tamamlandıktan sonra öğrencilere kavram testi uygulanmış ve öğrencilerle görüşme yapılmıştır.Araştırmada toplanan nitel veriler içerik analizi yapılarak çözümlenmiştir. Güvenirliği sağlamak için veriler ikinci kodlayıcı tarafından kodlanmıştır. Uygulama sürecinde her döngüde ders planının uygulamasından sonra süreç kendi içinde incelenmiştir. Uygulama süreci tamamlandıktan sonra tüm veriler bütün olarak değerlendirilip çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmada Kavram testi ile nicel veriler toplanmıştır. Çoktan seçmeli 25 sorudan meydana gelen testte her sorudan sonra öğrenciler verdikleri cevabın nedenini yazılı olarak ifade etmiştir. Test puanlanırken, doğru cevabı bulma 1, nedeni doğru açıklama ise 3 puan ile değerlendirilmiştir. Kavram testi puanlanmasının güvenirliği için ikinci kodlayıcı olarak konu alanı uzmanından yardım alınmıştır.Sonuçta genel olarak, eylem araştırmasının bir öğretim yaklaşımını uygulamak ve değerlendirmek için uygun bir araştırma yöntemi olduğu, bu yöntem ile öğretimin niteliğinin arttırıldığı ve araştırmacının kendi deneyimlerini arttırdığı söylenebilir. Öğrencilerin kavram temelli disiplinler arası yaklaşıma göre hazırlanan etkinlikleri önceki etkinliklerden farklı bulmuşlardır. Bu etkinlikler farklı disiplin bilgilerini aynı anda öğrenmeyi, derinlemesine öğrenmeyi, yeni bilgiler öğrenmeyi, derse yönelik olumlu tutum geliştirmeyi, akademik başarıyı arttırmayı, zamandan tasarruf yapmayı ve konu tekrarı yapmayı sağlamakta, öğrencilere araştırma yapma, gözlem yapma ve bilgisayar kullanma becerisi ve gerçek hayatta kullanılabilecek bilgiler de kazandırmaktır. Bu etkinlikler öğrencilerin derse yönelik ilgilerini arttırmış ve olumlu tutum geliştirmeye, işbirliği içinde çalışmaya, karar verme ve eleştirel düşünme becerisine katkı sağlamıştır. Öğrenciler bu etkinlikleri beğenmiş, severek, isteyerek katılmış ve etkinlikleri zevkle yapmışlardır. Uygulanan etkinliklerde sosyal bilgiler dersinde matematik, fen bilimleri, Türkçe, görsel sanatlar, müzik ve İngilizce dersi ile disiplinler arası bağlantılar kurulmuştur. Öğrenci görüşlerine göre en çok fen bilimleri ve matematik, en az müzik ve İngilizce dersleriyle, gözlem bulgularına göre ise en çok Türkçe dersi, en az da İngilizce ve müzik dersleri ile disiplinler arası bağlantılar kurulmuştur. İlk döngülerde disiplinler arası bağlantıları araştırmacı vurgularken, döngüler ilerledikçe öğrencilerin disiplinler arası bağlantıları kendi kendilerine fark etmeye başladıkları ve yeni bağlantılar kurdukları araştırma sonuçları arasındadır. Öğrenciler değerlendirme sürecinde kullanılan otantik değerlendirme etkinliklerini, öğrenme sürecine yönelik olması, öğrenci merkezli olması, yürütücü biliş stratejilerini ve farklı disiplinlere ait bilgileri kullanmayı gerektirmesi açısından önceki etkinliklerden farklı bulmuş, bu etkinliklere istekli olarak katılmış ve bu etkinliklerde eğlenmişlerdir. Öğrenciler değerlendirme etkinliklerini sürece yönelik ve öğrenci merkezli olduğunu, farklı disiplinlere ait bilgilerin de kullanılmasını gerektirdiğini algılamışlar, uygulama ve değerlendirme sürecinde disiplinler arası bağlantıları fark etmişlerdir. Değerlendirme sürecinde bazı etkinliklerde zorlandıklarını dile getiren öğrenciler olmasına rağmen, sonuçta öğrenciler bu etkinliklerin daha eğlenceli, daha öğretici olduğu ve diğer derslerde de kullanılmasını istediklerini belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca kavram temelli disiplinler arası yaklaşıma göre hazırlanan, uygulanan ve otantik olarak değerlendirilen ünitenin kavramların kazandırılmasına olumlu yönde katkı sağladığı da sonuçlar arasındadır.Anahtar kelimeler: Disiplinler arası yaklaşım, kavram temelli öğretim, otantik değerlendirme, eylem araştırması. This study aims to investigate the implementation and authentic assessment process of a unit designed according to concept-based interdisciplinary approach in social studies course. With this purpose in mind, the study first presented the existing situation in class in relation to concept teaching, interdisciplinary approach, and authentic assessment. In line with the general purpose, the study also examined problems in relation to the implementation of the unit designed and solution suggestions for these problems, effect of the implementation on teaching and learning processes, students' perceptions about the authentic assessment process, and the effect of the implementation on acquisition of the concepts. This study, which aimed to investigate the implementation and authentic assessment process of a unit designed using concept-based interdisciplinary approach, was conducted as an action research. It was carried out in a state school in the fall and spring semesters of the 2013-2014 education year. The participants were 19 fourth grade students, 12 males and 7 females, who were chosen using criterion sampling method, one of purposeful sampling methods. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews, structured observations (camera records), authentic assessment tools (rubrics and level identification checklists), student activity worksheets, researcher and student journals, and concept tests. Before the implementation, observations and student interviews were conducted throughout one unit so that the existing situation in the classroom could be revealed. In the implementation phase, Environment unit designed according to interdisciplinary program design model proposed by Jacobs (1989 and 2004) was applied in 32 course hours. Action research process was conducted based on cycles. In each cycle, implementation stage of the lesson plan prepared for each concept was monitored before the study, action plans were developed to solve the problems encountered, and the next cycle was applied once the problem was solved. Authentic assessment activities, rubrics, and level identification checklists were utilized with a view to identifying whether students gained attainments of the courses. Process interviews were conducted with students in order to evaluate the research process. Once the eight cycles in the implementation were completed, the students were administered concept tests and interviews. Qualitative data obtained from the study were analyzed using content analysis methods. To enhance reliability, the data were coded by a second coder. In the implementation phase, the process was investigated in itself in each cycle after the lesson plan was implemented. After the process was completed, all the data were evaluated and analyzed as a whole. The quantitative data were collected through the concept tests. The students were asked to their answers following each answer in the test which had 25 multiple choice questions. Scoring involved giving 1 point for the correct option and 3 points for the correct justification. A second coder who is an expert on the issue helped for the reliability of the concept scoring. As a result, it can be said that action research is an appropriate research method for implementing and assessing a teaching approach; this method increased teaching quality and the researcher's experience. Students' activities that were prepared according to concept-based interdisciplinary approach were found to be different from the previous activities. These activities enable to learn different discipline information simultaneously, gain in-depth knowledge, learn new information, develop positive attitudes towards the lesson, increase academic success, save time, and review topics; they also help students to attain research, observation and computer skills and real-life information. These activities increased students' interest in the lesson and contributed to develop positive attitudes, work cooperatively, and improve decision-making and critical thinking skills. Students liked these activities, participated willingly, and enjoyed the process. The activities enabled interdisciplinary connections in social studies course with mathematics, science, Turkish, visual arts, music, and English. According to students' views, interdisciplinary connections were made mostly with science and math; and less with music and English. According to observations, interdisciplinary connections were made mostly with Turkish and less with English and music. While in the first cycles it was the researcher who emphasized interdisciplinary connections, results showed that students began to realize interdisciplinary connections by themselves and make new connections. Students found authentic assessment activities used in the evaluation process different because the activities were student-centered and required using metacognitive strategies and interdisciplinary knowledge. They participated willingly and had fun. Students realized that the assessment activities were process-based and student-centered and required using information from various disciplines, and students noticed interdisciplinary connections in the implementation and evaluation process. Although there were some students who reportedly had difficulties in some activities, they also stated that these activities were more enjoyable and educational and that they wanted to use them in other lessons, as well. Moreover, results showed that the unit which was prepared and implemented according to interdisciplinary approach and assessed using authentic assessment techniques had positive effects on the acquisition of the concepts. Bu araştırma TEOG sınavının, sekizinci sınıf öğrencilerinin matematik dersindeki akademik başarılarıyla ilişkisinin ve matematik dersi öğretim süreci üzerindeki etkilerinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni, 2013/2014 eğitim öğretim yılında Mersin ilindeki MEB'e bağlı tüm resmi ve özel okulların sekizinci sınıflarında, derse giren matematik öğretmenleri ve bu sınıflardaki öğrencilerdir. Araştırmanın örneklemi, Mersin ili Silifke ilçesindeki MEB'e bağlı 5 resmi okul ile 3 özel okulun sekizinci sınıflarında, matematik dersine giren 17 öğretmen ve bu sınıflardaki toplam 869 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Örneklemdeki okullar, seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemlerinden basit seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak belirlenmiştir.Çalışma tarama modelinde, nitel ve nicel yöntemlerin birlikte kullanıldığı bir karma yöntem araştırmasıdır. Araştırmanın nicel boyutunun verileri, öğrencilerin e-okul sistemlerinden alınan not çizelgelerinden elde edilmiş ve analizinde betimsel istatistik, bağımsız gruplar t-testi ve Pearson Momentler Korelasyon Analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın nitel boyutunun verileri ise, öğretmenlerle yapılan görüşmelerden elde edilmiştir. Görüşmelerde araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmış, elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yapılarak tema ve kodlar oluşturulmuştur.Araştırmanın nicel boyutundan elde edilen bulgulara göre; öğrencilerin matematik dersi TEOG başarıları arasında, cinsiyete göre istatiksel açıdan anlamlı düzeyde bir farka rastlanmazken; okul türüne göre özel okullar lehine anlamlı düzeyde bir fark gözlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin matematik dersi akademik başarıları, kız öğrenciler ve özel okullar lehine anlamlı düzeyde bir farklılık göstermektedir. Ayrıca öğrencilerin matematik dersi, TEOG başarıları ile akademik başarıları arasında yüksek, pozitif yönde istatiksel açıdan anlamlı düzeyde bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Araştırmanın nitel boyutundan elde edilen bulgulara göre; görüşmeye katılan öğretmenler, TEOG sınavı sorularını olması gerekenden kolay ve ayırt ediciliği düşük olarak değerlendirmektedir. Soruların kazanımları kapsama düzeyini ise yeterli bulmuşlardır. Öğretmenlerin okuldaki yazılı sınav sorularını hazırlarken dikkat ettikleri hususların başında öğrenci seviyesine uygunluk gelmektedir. Bunun yanında öğretmenler; sınavda farklı soru tarzlarını birlikte kullanmaya, sınavın ayırt edici olmasına ve sınav sorularının farklı zorluk düzeylerinde olmasına dikkat etmektedir. Öğretmenler, öğrencilerin TEOG sınavındaki başarıları ile akademik başarılarını uyumlu bulmaktadır. Öğretmenlere göre okulda verilen eğitim, TEOG sınavında başarılı olabilmek için yeterlidir. Görüşülen öğretmenlere göre okulda daha etkili bir matematik eğitimi verilebilmesi için, öğrencilerin hazırbuluşluk seviyeleri arasındaki farkın azaltılması ve başarı seviyelerine göre sınıflarda eğitim görmesi gerekmektedir. Ayrıca sekizinci sınıf matematik dersi öğretim programındaki kazanımlar azaltılmalıdır.Anahtar kelimeler: Sekizinci sınıf, TEOG, akademik başarı, öğretim süreci This research has been done for the purpose of analysing the relevance of TEOG exams to academic achievements of 8th grade students and the effects of TEOG exams on teaching process of math class.The population of the study, consisted of 8th grade students and their maths teachers in all public and private secondary schools in province of Mersin in 2013-2014 academic year. Research sample consisted of 869 8th grade students and 17 teachers who teach math to those students in 5 public and 3 private schools in Silifke district of Mersin. Research sample have been determined using simple random sampling among random sampling methods. The study was based on a survey model and mixed method research that qualitative and quantitative methods were used together. Quantitative data of the research was obtained from academic records of e-school system and descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, Pearson Product Moment Correlation were used for the analysis of the data. In the interviews, semi-structured interview forms reformed by the researcher were used and themes and codes were created by being completed content analysis of data obtained through interviews.According to the findings obtained from quantitative part of the research; in TEOG achievements of the students in Math, a statistically significant difference in relation to genders didn't observed between male and female students but according to school types, a significant difference was observed in favor of private schools. Academic achievements of the students in Math, showed a significant difference in favor of female students and private schools. Also, a statistically significant high correlation in a positive way was found out between students' TEOG achievements and their academic achievements.According to the findings obtained from qualitative part of the research; teachers participating in interviews, evaluate TEOG exam questions as easier and more undiscerned than they are supposed to be. Coverage of questions to educational attainments is enough according to the teachers. Teachers pay more attention to convenience of questions to the students' levels than others while preparing exam questions. Teachers pay attention to use different kinds of question, ask discerner questions and have questions in different difficulty levels. Students' TEOG achievements are deem compatible with their academic achievements by teachers. According to teachers, education given in schools is enough to be successful in TEOG exams. According to interviewed teachers, to minimize the difference of readiness among students and to categorize them up to their academic levels are a must for an efficient math teaching. Bu çalışmanın genel amacı Ortaokul 6.Sınıf Fen Bilimleri dersi “Işık ve Ses” ünitesinde konu temelli eleştirel düşünme öğretimi özelliğine sahip eğitsel arayüz ile desteklenmiş eğitim yazılımını kullanan grup ile konu temelli eleştirel düşünme öğretimi özelliğine sahip olmayan eğitsel arayüz ile desteklenmiş eğitim yazılımını kullanan grubunun eleştirel düşünme becerisi ve Fen Bilimleri dersindeki akademik başarıları arasında anlamlı düzeyde farklılıklar olup olmadığını sınamaktır. Araştırma, deneysel araştırma modellerinden biri olan ön test son test kontrol gruplu deneme modeline göre desenlenmiştir. Çalışmada gruplar bir deney ve bir kontrol grubu desenine göre oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Kahramanmaraş il merkezinde yer alan bir ortaokulda öğrenim görmekte olan toplam 50 altıncı sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Şubeler; Eleştirel Düşünme Değerlendirme Rubriği ve Akademik Başarı Testi ön test sonuçları ile denkleştirilmiştir. Deney grubu öğrencileri “Konu temelli eleştirel düşünme öğretimi özelliğine sahip eğitsel arayüz ile desteklenmiş eğitim yazılımı” kullanmış, kontrol grubu ise “Konu temelli eleştirel düşünme öğretimi özelliğine sahip olmayan eğitsel arayüz ile desteklenmiş eğitim yazılımı” kullanmıştır. Hem deney grubu hem de kontrol grubu katılımcıları, öntest ve sontest niteliğinde akademik başarı testi, eleştirel düşünme değerlendirme rubriği ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme sorularını cevaplamışlardır. Araştırma sürecinde elde edilen veriler, SPSS 20,0 istatistik paket programı aracılığıyla çözümlenmiştir. Verilerin aritmetik ortalamaları, standart sapmaları betimsel olarak verildikten sonra, bağımsız gruplar t testi ve kovaryans analizleri(ANCOVA) yapılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularından elde edilen nicel ve nitel sonuçlar ise aşağıdaki gibi özetlenebilir: 1. Konu temelli eleştirel düşünme öğretimi özelliğine sahip eğitim yazılımı, eleştirel düşünme becerilerinin gelişiminde, konu temelli eleştirel düşünme öğretimi özelliğine sahip olmayan eğitim yazılımına göre daha etkilidir. 2. Konu temelli eleştirel düşünme öğretimi özelliğine sahip eğitim yazılımı, öğrencilerin akademik başarısı üzerinde, eleştirel düşünme öğretimi özelliğine sahip olmayan eğitim yazılımına göre genel olarak benzer bir etkiye sahiptir. 3. Araştırma sonunda, konu temelli eleştirel düşünme öğretimi özelliğine sahip eğitsel arayüz ile desteklenmiş eğitim yazılımını kullanan deney grubu öğrencilerinin uygulamadan önce eleştirel düşünmenin tanımını tam yapamayıp farklı örneklerini veremezken, eğitim yazılımını kullanması sonrasında eleştirel düşünme kavramını daha iyi özümseyip aktif bir şekilde bu beceriyi kullanabildikleri ve ifade edebildikleri görülmüştür. Konu temelli eleştirel düşünme öğretimi özelliğine sahip olmayan eğitsel arayüz ile desteklenmiş eğitim yazılımını kullanan kontrol grubundaki öğrencilerin ise, eğitim yazılımı kullanmadan önce ve sonraki eleştirel düşünme becerilerine yönelik algıları arasında bir değişiklik olmamıştır. 4. Deney grubundaki öğrencilerin eğitsel arayüz asistanına(Sünger Bob) karşı olumlu tutum içerisinde oldukları, Sünger Bob sayesinde düşünme sürecine çok daha fazla önem verdikleri ve bu davranışı aynı zamanda günlük yaşamda ve diğer derslerde de kullanmanın gerekli olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar konu temelli eleştirel düşünme öğretimi özelliğine sahip eğitsel arayüz ile desteklenmiş eğitim yazılımı kullanan deney grubundaki öğrencilerin eleştirel düşünme becerilerinin arttığını göstermiştir. Duruma ilişkin daha kapsamlı bilgi sağlayabilmek adına, farklı okul düzeyinde, farklı disiplinlerde ve farklı sınıf düzeylerinde bu tarz yazılımlar tasarlanıp denenmesi önerilebilir. The general purpose of this study is to examine if there is a significant difference between the experiment group which uses instructional software packages that was supported by educational interface with subject based critical thinking feature and the control group which uses instructional software packages that was supported by educational interface without subject based critical thinking feature in the Science course “Light and Sound Unit” of secondary school 6th grade students’ critical thinking skills and their academic achievement. The research was designed according to pre-test post-test control-grouped experimental research model. The groups in the study were constituted as one experiment group and one control group design. The sampling of the research consists in total 50 students that attend to secondary school in Kahramanmaraş city center. The classrooms were leveled by their Critical Thinking Evaluation Rubric and Academic Achievement Pre-Test scores. The students in the experimental group has used “instructional software package that was supported by educational interface with subject based critical thinking feature” while the control group has used “instructional software packages that was supported by educational interface without subject based critical thinking feature”. The participants of both experiment and control groups have answered the academic achievement test which serves as pre-test and post-test, critical thinking rubric and semi-structured interview questions. The data obtained during the study were analyzed via the SPSS 20,0 statistical analysis software package program. After providing arithmetic mean and Standard deviation of data in a descriptive way, independent samples t-test and covariance analysis (ANCOVA) were conducted. Qualitative and quantitative data obtained from the research can be summarized as follows: 1. It can be said that the instructional software which has teaching critical thinking feature is more effective in the development of critical thinking skills comparing to instructional software which does not have teaching critical thinking feature. 2. It cannot be said that the instructional software which has teaching critical thinking feature is more effective or different in the academic achievement of the students comparing to instructional software which does not have teaching critical thinking feature. 3. At the at end of the study, it was observed that, the students in the experiment group who have used instructional software that was supported by educational interface with subject based critical thinking feature, have assimilated the concept of critical thinking actively use and express this skill, while they were not able define and exemplify critical thinking. On the other hand, it was also observed that, the students in the control group who have used instructional software that was supported by educational interface without subject based critical thinking feature, have no significant difference between their perceptions before and after using the instructional software. 4. At the end of the study, when the views of the students in the experiment group on the communication of the educational interface agent are analyzed, it can be said that the students in general have a positive attitude towards Sponge Bob in the instructional software, they attach importance to thinking process thanks to Sponge Bob and they think that this attitude is required in their daily lives and in other courses. The results of the study indicate that the critical thinking skills of the students in the experiment group which uses instructional software packages that was supported by educational interface with subject based critical thinking feature have increased, therefore in order to obtain more extensive information related to this, it can be suggested to design and test similar software for different school levels, different disciplines and different class levels.

Bu araştırma kamu kurumlarında çalışan personelin hizmet içi eğitim ihtiyacını belirlemek ve iş doyum düzeylerini incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu çalışma kapsamında hizmet içi eğitim ihtiyacını belirlemeye yönelik ve hizmet içi eğitimle iş doyumu arasındaki ilişkiyi ölçmek açısından betimsel ve istatistiksel analizler yapılmıştır. Araştırma, Adana Büyükşehir Belediyesinin farklı birimlerinde çalışmakta olan 363 personel ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Katılımcılara kişisel bilgileri ve hizmet içi eğitime yönelik görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla 2 bölümden oluşan anket ve iş doyum düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla da Minnesota İş Doyum Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. SPSS 23.0 istatistik paket programında çözümlenen verilerin betimsel istatistiğini yapmak amacıyla aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, yüzde dağılımı, frekans, t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizleri yapılmıştır. Yapılan araştırma sonucunda, çalışanların büyük çoğunluğunun en az bir kere hizmet içi eğitime katıldıklarını, hizmet içi eğitimleri genel olarak yeterli buldukları ama daha iyi olabileceği görüşünde oldukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Çalışanların iş doyum düzeyleri ile hizmet içi eğitimler arasında ise doğrudan bir ilişki olmadığı görülmüştür. This research is carried out to determine the need for in-service training of employees working in public bodies and examine the job satisfaction levels of them. Descriptive and statistical analyses are made to evaluate the relation between in-service training and job satisfaction and determine the need for in-service training in this study. The research is done in a group of 363 staff members working in different units of the Metropolitan Municipality of Adana. The participants filled out a survey consisting of 2 parts which is about their personal information and views on in-service training and Minnesota Job Satisfaction Questionnaire is completed by them to find their job satisfaction levels. Arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percentage distribution, and frequency are found and t-test and one-way analyses of variance are carried out to have the descriptive statistics of the data analysed in the statistical package program SPSS 23.0. The research revealed that the majority of staff members have participated at least one in-service training and although they find the quality of these trainings sufficient, they think the trainings can be still better. It is seen that there is not a direct relation between job satisfaction levels of employees and in-service training.

Bu araştırma Adana ili merkez ilçelerindeki okullarda görev yapan ilkokul birinci sınıf öğretmenlerinin ve bu okullarda öğrenim gören birinci sınıf öğrencilerin velilerinin, ilkokul birinci sınıf öğretim programına yönelik görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.Betimsel olarak modellenen araştırmada, hem nicel hem de nitel tekniklerin birlikte kullanıldığı karma yöntem kullanılmıştır. Nicel kısımda anket, nitel kısımda ise görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır.Araştırma anket ve görüşme yapılan iki farklı çalışma grubu üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın anket uygulanan çalışma grubunu, farklı sosyo ekonomik düzeydeki okullarda görev yapan 265 ilkokul birinci sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Görüşme yapılan çalışma grubu ise yine farklı sosyo ekonomik düzeydeki okullarda görev yapan 14 ilkokul birinci sınıf öğretmeni ile, 14 birinci sınıf öğrenci velisinden oluşmaktadır. Anketten elde edilen veriler bilgisayarda `SPSS for windows ver:17.0` programında çözümlenmiş, yüzde ve frekans değerleri incelenmiştir. Nitel veriler betimsel olarak analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular araştırmanın amaçlarına uygun olarak tablolar halinde sunulmuştur.Araştırma sonucunda öğretmenlerin, 60-66 aylık çocukların ilkokul birinci sınıfa alınmasına çoğunlukla katılmadığı, programın amaçlarının 60 aylık öğrencilerin seviyelerine kesinlikle uygun olmadığı görüşünde oldukları görülmüştür. Öğretmenler programın amaçlarını kısmen birbiriyle tutarlı bulmaktadır. Öğretmenler programın amaçlarını ulaşılabilir düzeyde bulmuşlar ancak sınıf ortamında 60, 66, 72 ay ve üzeri öğrencilerin birlikte bulunmasının amaçlara ulaşmayı zorlaştırdığını belirtmişlerdir. Öğretmenler okuma yazma öğretiminin el yazısı ile yapılmasına rağmen ders kitaplarındaki metinlerin dik temel harflerle yazılmış olmasının sorun oluşturduğu görüşündedirler. Araştırma sonuçları paralelinde 60-66 aylık çocukların öncelikle okul öncesi eğitime yönlendirilmelerine ve programın amaç, içerik, etkinlik, değerlendirme ve düzeye uygunluk açısından yeniden gözden geçirilmesine yönelik öneriler getirilmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Eğitim ve öğretim, ilkokul birinci sınıf öğretim programı, okuma yazma öğretimi. This research has been conducted to determine the views of the elementary school first grade teachers, who works in the schools of Adana's central districts, and the parents of the first grade students, who are educated in these schools, about the curriculum of the first grade of elementary school.In the research which was modelled as descriptive, mixed method, in which both quantitative and qualitative techniques are used together, was used. In the quantitative part the survey and in the qualitative part the interview technique was used.The research was done on the two different groups with whom survey and interview were done. The workgroup which is surveyed is consisted of 265 first grade teachers who work in schools in different socio-economic leves. On the other hand the workgroup on which interview was made, consisted of 14 parents of first grade students and 14 first grade teachers who work in schools in different socio-economic leves. The data obtained in the survey have been analyzed in the program `SPSS for windows ver:17.0`, percent age and frequency values were examined. Qualitative datas were analyzed as descriptive. The findings are presented as charts for purposes of research. In the result of the research, it was seen that the teachers mostly don't join to the opinion that the pupils 60-66 months start to school, they are at the opinion that the purpose of the program is not suitable for the level of 60-month students. Teachers found the aims of the program partly consistent with each other. Teachers found the purpose of the program at an accessible level. But the teachers pointed out that being together in the same class of students who are 60-66-72 and higher months makes difficult to access the aims. Although, teaching of reading and writing has been doing by handwriting, teachers are in the opinion that writing vertical basic letters of the texts in the course boks create problem.According to the research results, advices are given that the children who are 60-66 months should be guided to pre-school education and the program should be reviewed in terms of aim, content, efficiency, valuation and conformity to the level. Bu çalışma, bir altıncı sınıf şubesindeki öğrencilerle öykü yazma programı doğrultusunda yapılan uygulamaların, öğrencilerin öykü yazma becerisini geliştirmeye nasıl katkı sağladığını, bununla birlikte öykü yazmaya yönelik görüşlerinde ve yazma kaygılarında değişime yol açıp açmadığını araştırmak amacıyla yapılmış bir eylem araştırmasıdır. Araştırma 2011-2012 öğretim yılında, Adana ili Yüreğir ilçesindeki bir resmî ilköğretim okulunun, mevcut şubeleri içinden seçilen bir altıncı sınıf şubesindeki öğrencilerle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır.Araştırmanın uygulama süreci tüm sınıf öğrencilerinin katılımıyla yürütülmüş ancak iç örneklemeden yararlanılarak daha zengin veri sağlaması için 9 odak öğrenci seçilmiştir. Araştırmada uygulama öncesinde, sürecinde ve sonrasında olmak üzere farklı zamanlarda, farklı kaynaklardan veriler toplanmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan veri toplama araçları; öğrencilerin yazdıkları öyküler ve öykü bölümleri, Öykü Yazma Becerisi Dereceli Puanlama Anahtarı, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları, Yazma Kaygısı Ölçeği, araştırmacı, öğretmen ve öğrenci günlükleridir. Öğrencilerin uygulama öncesinde, uygulama sürecinde ve sonrasında yazdıkları öyküler ve öykü bölümleri araştırmanın temel verilerini oluşturmuştur. Bu veriler araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Öykü Yazma Becerisi Dereceli Puanlama Anahtarı kullanılarak üç ayrı puanlayıcı tarafından değerlendirilmiş, odak öğrencilerin nasıl bir gelişim gösterdikleri sunulmuştur. Uygulama öncesinde Türkçe öğretmenleriyle, uygulama öncesinde ve sonrasında da odak öğrencilerle yapılan görüşmeler ise `NVivo Nitel Veri Analizi Programı` kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Uygulama sürecinde odak öğrenciler, Türkçe öğretmeni ve araştırmacı, gerçekleştirilen uygulamalara yönelik duygu ve düşüncelerini günlüklerine aktarmışlar, böylece uygulama sürecine yönelik herhangi bir problemin olup olmadığı, öğretmen ve öğrencilerin yansıtıcı fikirlerinin ne yönde olduğuizlenmiştir. Öykü yazma programının uygulamasının öncesinde ve sonrasında öğrencilere uygulanan Yazma Kaygısı Ölçeği'nden elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesi amacıyla da `Eşli Gruplar t Testi` kullanılmıştır.Araştırma sonucunda, öykü yazma programı doğrultusunda yapılan uygulamaların öğrencilerin öykü yazma becerilerinde düzenleme, dil ve anlatım ile biçim özellikleri açısından olumlu yönde gelişmeler sağladığı saptanmıştır. Odak öğrencilerin uygulama öncesinde yazdıkları öykülerin serim, düğüm ve çözüm bölümleri, uygulama sürecinde ve sonrasında yazdıklarıyla karşılaştırıldığında, öğrencilerin çoğunun serim bölümünde başlatıcı olay, içsel cevap, kahraman, yer ve zaman ögelerini sunma, düğüm bölümünde yan olayları ve kahraman girişimlerini ayrıntılandırılarak ve oluş sırasına göre yazma, çözüm bölümünde sonuca yönelik kahraman tepkisine yer verme ile başlık yazma açısından gelişim göstermiştir. Bununla birlikte bazı öğrencilerin çözüm bölümünde son tasarlama bakımından düzenli bir gelişim gösteremediği görülmüştür. Odak öğrencilerin uygulama öncesinde ve sonrasında yazdıkları öyküler dil ve anlatım açısından değerlendirildiğinde, öğrencilerin uygulama öncesindeki öykülerine nazaran uygulama sonrasındaki öykülerinde sözcük çeşitliliğini ve sözcüklerin anlamsal çeşitliğini sağlama, sözcükleri ölçünlü dile uygun kullanma, cümleler arasında zaman uyumunu sağlama, cümlenin ögeleri arasında uyum sağlama, paragraf yapma, çeşitli anlatım yollarını kullanma bakımından gelişim kaydettikleri saptanmıştır. Odak öğrencilerin uygulama öncesinde ve sonrasında yazdıkları öyküler biçim özellikleri bölümü açısından noktalama işaretlerini doğru kullanma, yazım kurallarını doğru uygulama ve yazının okunaklılığı açısından da değerlendirilmiş, öğrencilerin bu eylemler açısından da genel olarak gelişim gösterdikleri tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca odak öğrencilerin uygulama sonrasında öykü yazma becerilerine dair görüşlerinde değişim olduğu saptanmış, öykü yazarken hissettikleri duyguların ve dikkat ettikleri noktaların değiştiğine, öykü yazarken zorlanmadıklarına yönelik bulgulara ulaşılmıştır. Bununla birlikte odak öğrencilerin çoğunun uygulama sonrasında öykü yazma programı kapsamında yapılan çalışmaların öykü yazma becerilerinde olumlu yönde değişiklik sağladığını ve verilen geri bildirimlerin öykü yazma becerilerini olumlu yönde etkilediğini düşündükleri tespit edilmiş, uygulama sonrasında tüm sınıf öğrencilerinin yazma kaygılarının azaldığı saptanmıştır.Anahtar kelimeler: Yazma becerisi, öykü yazma becerisi, öykü yapısı, yazma kaygısı, altıncı sınıf öğrencileri, eylem araştırması. This study is an action research aiming at understanding how activities of a story-writing program for 6th grade students contributes to the story-writing skills of them. The study also aims at researching on whether the activities lead changes on students' perception of story writing and writing anxiety. The study was carried out with a class of 6th grade students chosen among the available classes of a public elementary school in Yuregir Adana in the 2011-2012 academic year. Criterion sampling of purposive sampling was used in the study. Implementation of the research was conducted with the participation of all the students, but to provide richer data, internal sampling was used and 9 students were chosen as a focus group. Data was collected from various sources before, during and after the treatment. The data collection tools used in the study includes student-written stories and story parts, story-writing skills graded scoring rubric, semi-structured interview forms, writing anxiety scale, and diaries of the researcher, teachers and the students. Stories and story parts that the students wrote before, during and after the treatment formed the main data of the study. The data were evaluated by three different raters using the story-writing skills graded scoring rubric which was developed by the researcher. The Interviews with teachers of Turkish before the treatment, and the interviews with the focus group before and after the treatment were analyzed using the `NVivo Qualitative Data Analysis Program`.During the treatment, the focus group, the teacher of Turkish and the researcher logged their feelings and thoughts about the activities conducted in their diaries; so that it was observed whether there was any problem with the treatment process, and in what direction the reflective ideas of the teacher and the students developed. `Paired samples t-test` is used in order to analyze the data obtained from the writing anxiety scale given to the students before and after the implementation of the story-writing program.At the end of the study, it is found out that the activities of the story-writing program have provided improvements in story writing skills of students in terms of composition, language and expression and form of writing. The proposition, the conflict and the resolution parts of the stories that the focus group student wrote before the treatment were compared to the ones they wrote during and after the treatment. It is seen that the majority of the students have shown improvement in presenting the initiating event, internal response, characters and setting in the proposition, writing detailed minor events and character developments in chronological order in the conflict, and result-oriented character reaction and writing the appropriate title for the story in the resolution part. However, it is seen that some students have not shown a steady improvement of final design in the resolution. When the stories that the focus group students wrote before and after the treatment are evaluated in terms of language and expression, it is found out that they have shown progress in their post treatment stories in providing vocabulary and semantic diversity, using appropriate vocabulary of the standard language, establishing sequence of tenses and sentence elements, dividing the story into paragraphs appropriately, and using varied ways of expression. The stories, the focus group students wrote before and after the treatment, were also compared in terms of structural features such as punctuation, spelling rules and legibility. It is found out that the students have also shown an overall progress in those areas. It is also detected that there have appeared positive changes in the perception of story writing of the focus group students after the treatment. It is found out that their emotions while writing stories, and the points that they pay attention have been changed, and they did not perceive story writing as a difficult task. At the same time, it is discovered that the majority of the focus group students thought the activities of story writing program contributed to their story writing, and the feedback given affected their story writing skills in a positive way. Bu araştırmanın temel amacı; ortaöğretimdeki eğitsel kulüp çalışmalarının işlevselliğini yönetici, kulüp danışmanı ve öğrenci görüşleri doğrultusunda incelemektir. Bu genel amaç doğrultusunda katılımcıların eğitsel kulüplerin gerekliliğine olan inancına, öğrencilere sağladığı faydalara, kulüplerin uygulama sürecinde yaşanan problemlere ve daha etkin hale getirilmesi için yapılması gerekenlere ilişkin görüşlerine başvurulmuştur.Araştırmanın yöntemi, nicel ve nitel yöntemlerin birlikte kullanıldığı karma yöntem araştırmasıdır. Araştırmanın nicel boyutunu; Adana ili merkez ilçelerinde 2012 – 2013 yılında okul türü farklı ortaöğretim kurumlarında (Fen Lisesi, Anadolu Lisesi, İmam-Hatip Lisesi, Endüstri Meslek Lisesi ve Genel Lisesi) öğrenim gören 469 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Ankete verilen cevapların ve demografik değişkenlerin yüzde ve frekansları çıkarılmıştır. Ayrıca demografik değişkenlerle anket maddelerine verilen cevapların çaprazlaması yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler bilgisayarda SPSS for Windows versiyon 15.0 yardımıyla istatistiksel teknikler kullanılarak çözümlenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır.Katılımcıların görüşlerini derinlemesine ve çok boyutlu olarak incelemek amacıyla veri toplama sürecinde görüşme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Görüşme; Adana ili merkez ilçelerindeki ortaöğretim kurumlarında görev yapan 14 öğretmen ve bu kurumlarda görev yapan 6 yönetici ile yapılmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan yarı–yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmış, verilerin analizinde ise içerik analizi tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır.Öğrencilerin %31'nin üyesi oldukları eğitsel kulüplerin herhangi bir faaliyetinde yer almadığı belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin çoğunluğu kulüplerin gerekli ve kendilerine birçok yararı olduğuna katılmaktadır. Buna karşın olumsuz görüş bildiren öğrencilerin sayısının da azımsanmayacak düzeyde olduğu görülmüştür. Araştırma sonuçları okul türü değişkenine göre değerlendirildiğinde anket maddelerine verilen cevapların farklılaştığı görülmüştür. Anadolu Lisesi öğrencilerinin eğitsel kulüp çalışmalarının gerekliliğine ve sağladığı faydalara olan inancı diğer liselere (Genel Lise, Meslek ve İmam – Hatip Lisesi) göre daha yüksek düzeydedir. Buna karşın Fen Lisesi öğrencilerinin eğitsel kulüplerin gerekliliği ve kendilerine sağladığı faydalara olan inancı en düşük düzeydedir. Eğitsel kulüplerin daha işlevsel hale getirilmesine yönelik çalışmaların yapılması ve kulüp uygulamalarının önündeki engellerin kaldırılması gerektiğine öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğu katılmaktadır. Ayrıca araştırma sonuçları cinsiyet değişkenine göre değerlendirildiğinde anket maddelerine verilen cevapların birbirine yakın değerlerde olduğu görülmektedir.Araştırmanın nitel verilerinin sonucunda öğretmen ve yöneticiler, MEB İlköğretim ve Ortaöğretim Kurumları Sosyal Etkinlikler Yönetmeliğinin evrak iş yükünü ön plana çıkardığını ve açıklayıcı nitelikte genelge ve yönergelere ihtiyaç duyulduğunu ifade etmişlerdir. Öğretmenlerin ve okul yöneticilerinin nezdinde yeterince ilgi gösterilmediği ve öneminin anlaşılmasına rağmen uygulamaların çeşitli sorunlardan dolayı verimli yürütülemediği görülmüştür. Okulların fiziki donanımının kulüp faaliyetlerini gerçekleştirecek düzeyde olmaması, öğretmenlere maddi yönden bir getiri sağlamaması, okul ders yüklerinin fazla olması ve çalışmaların okul yönetimi ve öğrencilerce benimsenmemesi öğretmenlerin kulüp çalışmalarına karşı isteksiz olmasına yol açmaktadır. Öğrenci velilerinin akademik başarıya daha çok önem vermesi, eğitsel kulüplerin ikinci planda kalmasına neden olmaktadır. Bu durum öğrencilerin kulüplere olan ilgisini azaltmaktadır. Yöneticilerin tamamı eğitsel kulüp dosyasının öğretmenlerce düzensiz ve özensiz hazırlandığını, dosyaların özgün nitelikte etkinlik raporları içermediğini ve dosyadaki evrakların kağıt üzerinde kulüp yönetmeliğine uygun şekilde doldurulduğunu ifade etmiştir. Buna ek olarak okul yöneticileri öğretmenler tarafından internetten etkinlik örneklerinin indirildiğini sadece tarih ve isimlerin değiştirilip imzaya sunulduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Yöneticilerin öğretmenlerin ezberci çalışmalarından ve kulüplere olan ilgisizliklerinden yakındıkları görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak araştırmada; öğrenci, öğretmen ve yöneticiler eğitsel kulüplerin kişisel gelişime, sosyalleşmeye önemli katkılar sunduğunu düşünmelerine rağmen çeşitli nedenlerden dolayı bu faaliyetlerin amaçlarına ulaşamadığını belirtmişlerdir. Uygulamaların amacına ulaşamamasındaki en önemli faktör etkinliklerin öğrenci ve öğretmen bazında zorlamalara dayanmasına bağlı olarak çalışmalara katılımdaki isteksizliktir. Kulüp faaliyetlerinin amacına ulaşabilmesi için yönetici, öğretmen ve öğrencilerin gönüllülük esasına dayanarak çalışmalara katılımının sağlanması gerekmektedir. Ayrıca akademik başarıya odaklı ve öğrenci başarısının sadece sınavlarda alınan puanlarla değerlendirildiği bir eğitim öğretim ortamında sosyal ve sportif yöndeki başarılar ikinci planda kalmaktadır. Öncelikle öğrencileri sınav yarışından alıkoyan, sosyal ve sportif olarak gelişimlerine olanak sağlayan bireyler yetiştirmeyi amaçlayan bir eğitim programının uygulanması sosyal ve bedensel yönden gelişmiş nesillerin yetişmesine olanak sağlayacaktır. In line with the general objectives to the belief in the necessity of educational clubs, the benefits for the students have been consulted about what needs to be done in the implementation process to make the clubs more effective.The method of the study is the mixed method, used in conjunction with quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative aspect of research is composed of 469 students, who has been studying in different types of secondary schools in Adana in 2012-2013 educational year. The percentages of the responses to the survey and demographic variables and frequencies are set. Also cross breading was made with the responses and the demographic variables. The data obtained was decaded and interpreted with the help of SPSS for windows version 15.0 in the computer by using statistical techniques.In order to investigate, views of the participants in-dept and multi-dimensional interview method was used in the data collection process. Interview was applied on 14 club teachers, working in secondary schools in the central district of Adana and six managers in these institutions. Data was prepared with semi-structured interview form, designed by the researcher. In the analysis of data from the content, analysis technique was used.It is determined that %31 of the students have not been participated in any activity of educational clubs, they have been involved in. Most of the students agree on the idea that the educational clubs are necessary and beneficial for themselves. On the other hand, It has been observed that the rest of other students ratio who don't agree isn't in a sustainable level. Regarding the types of the schools, the replies of the inquiry show variability. In that context, the belief in that the educational clubs are necessary and beneficial among the students of the Anatolian High School is rate optimistic than the rest of the students who are in other local high schools. After all, the belief of the students of the Science High School is at a very minimal level. Most of the students agree on the idea that the educational club activities need to be improved and the obstacles against the educational club activities need to be removed. In the survey, applied according to the gender of students there hasn't observed any distinctive difference.As a result of quantitative research data, club consultants and directors have indicated that elementary and secondary education intuitions social activities regulation of ministry of National Education creates a workload of document and it is needed to have descripted instructions and circular. According to the club consultants and directors of schools, it has been seen that there hasn't been payed enough attention and due to various and due to various problems the educational club activities cannot be put into practice in an efficient way. The ideas such as the physical equipment of the schools not being appropriate for the club activities, not providing any yield from the aspect of finance (monetary), there being course load at school and the students and the directors not taking the activities up seriously are the reasons of teachers being reluctant about educational club activities. With the request of the parents of the students, academicals success being more important to the parents makes the educational club activities, of second importance.All the managers indicate that the file of educational clubs is prepared disorderly and carelessly, the files do not involve the original activity report and the documents in the file are written only on a paper according to the club regulations, the samples of activities are downloaded and signed by changing only theirs dates and names. It is seen that the managers complain about the teacher's practices and their indifference to the clubs.As a result; student, club advisors and managers believe that educational clubs are beneficial for students' personal growth, being active socially, but they emphasize that these educational clubs are not applied because of various reasons. The most important factor of the applications not reaching the aim that the students being reluctant for the activities, because of the applications are applied on enforcement of the club teachers and the students. It should be provided that the students and club advisors participate in the activities voluntarily to reach the aim of the activity. On the other hand; the education system which is based on exam is considered beyond the students' academic, social, and sportive success in teaching. Bu araştırma, ilköğretim dördüncü ve beşinci sınıf öğretmenlerinin, sosyal bilgiler dersinde performans görevine yönelik görüşlerini belirlemek ve değerlendirmek amacı ile karma desen kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın nicel kısmını betimsel araştırma modellerinden genel tarama yöntemi, nitel kısmını ise görüşme tekniği oluşturmaktadır.Araştırmanın nicel verileri, Şanlıurfa ili Halfeti ve Birecik ilçelerinde bulunan MEB'e bağlı ilköğretim okullarının dördüncü ve beşinci sınıfını okutan 255 sınıf öğretmeninden, elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın nitel verileri ise, ankete katılan öğretmenler arasından amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden, kolay ulaşılabilirlik durum örneklemesine göre belirlenen üç ilköğretim okulunda görev yapan ve gönüllülük esas alınarak seçilen beş dördüncü sınıf, beş beşinci sınıf öğretmeni olmak üzere toplam 10 öğretmen ve bu öğretmenlerin sınıflarından rastgele seçilen toplam 10 öğrenciden elde edilmiştir.Anket formlarından elde edilen veriler bilgisayar ortamında SPSS istatistik paket programı kullanılarak araştırmacı tarafından çözümlenmiştir. Nicel verilerin alt amaçlar doğrultusunda frekans, yüzde ve aritmetik ortalamaları hesaplanarak betimsel analizleri yapılmıştır. Ayrıca görüşler arasındaki farklılıkların tespiti için bağımsız gruplar t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi ve Scheffe testi analizleri yapılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin ve öğrencilerin uygulama ile ilgili görüşlerini almak için yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmış, sorulan sorulardan elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz yoluyla incelenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır.Araştırma sonucunda;1.Performans görevi ile öğretmenlerin, öğrencilerini her açıdan değerlendirebildikleri ve programdan kaldırılmasını istemedikleri ancak kendilerine verilen eğitimin yetersiz ve teorik olduğu, uygulamada sorun yaşandığı ve net bilgilere sahip olunmadığı, bu nedenle okullarda etkili olarak kullanılmadığı,2.Performans görevinin öğrencilerde üst düzey zihinsel beceriler geliştirdiği, bu yolla öğrenilen bilgilerin gerçek yaşamda uygulandığı için öğretmenler tarafından olumlu karşılandığı, ancak ödevlerin değerlendirme ölçekleriyle değerlendirilmesinin zaman alması nedeniyle sıkıntı yaşandığı, ayrıca sosyal bilgiler öğretmen kılavuz kitaplarında verilen performans görevleri hakkında öğretmenlerin olumsuz düşüncelere sahip olduğu,3.İlköğretim dördüncü ve beşinci sınıf öğretmenlerinin cinsiyete göre, sosyal bilgiler dersinde kullanılan performans görevine yönelik görüşleri arasında anlamlı düzeyde farklılık olmadığı, mesleki kıdemlerine göre ise görüşler arasında anlamlı düzeyde bir farklılık olduğu ve farklılığın hizmet yılı 21 ve üstü olan öğretmenlerin lehine olduğu,4.Öğretmenlerin, performans görevi seçiminde öğrencilerin hazırbulunuşluk seviyeleri, kazanımın ve konunun dersteki önemi, sosyo-ekonomik ve kültürel çevre şartları, ödevlerin anlamlı, açık-anlaşılır ve yönergeli olması, verilen sürede tamamlanabilecek olması hususlarını gözettiği, aynı zamanda her öğrenciye bireysel farklılıkları göz ardı edilerek aynı ödevin verildiği,5.Performans görevinin öğrenciyi araştırmaya yönelttiği ancak yapılan araştırmaların internetten aynen yazılması ve çok kısa zamanda tamamlanmasının ödevleri niteliksizleştirdiği, öğrencilerin ve velilerin konu hakkında bilinçsiz olduğu, yine de öğrencilerin performans görevi yapmayı istediği ancak ödev seçimi konusunda yeterince özgür bırakılmadığı ve değerlendirme sürecine katılmadığı belirlenmiştir.Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlar paralelinde; sosyal bilgiler dersinde kullanılan performans göreviyle ilgili; 2012-2013 eğitim-öğretim yılında uygulanacak eğitim sisteminde; öğretmen, öğrenci ve velilere uzman kişiler tarafından detaylı, uygulamalı ve pratik eğitim seminerlerinin verilmesi önerilmektedir. Ayrıca sınıf ya da okul bitirme performansları olması, merkezi sınav puanlarına ödev puanlarının eklenmesi gibi uygulamalarla performans görevine verilen önemin artacağı düşünülmektedir. Bunun yanında sosyal bilgiler öğretmen kılavuz kitaplarının güncellenerek içlerindeki ödevlerin çeşitlendirilmesi, performans görevi ödev havuzu oluşturulması ve her performans görevine özel tüm sınıf bazında kullanılabilecek değerlendirme ölçeklerinin geliştirilmesi performans görevinin işlevselliğini arttıracaktır. İşlevsel olarak kullanılan performans görevinin; performans derslikleri, sınıf performans köşeleri ya da performans görevi ders saatlerinin oluşturulması, aynı zamanda daha önce hazırlanmış performans görevlerinden örnek ödev arşivlerinin kurulması ile uygulanabilirliği arttırılabilir. From the descriptive models the general scanning method constituted the qualitative part of the study while interview technique constituted the quantitative partThe quantitative data of the study were obtained from 255 teachers teaching fourth and fifth grade students in public primary schools in Şanliurfa city Halfeti and Birecik districts while the qualitative data were obtained from three primary school teachers who had filled in questionnaire and who were chosen on the basis of Convenience Sampling selected from Random Stratified Sampling techniques and five fourth grade and five fifth grade teachers who were selected on the basis of voluntary participation and 10 students selected from those teachers? classrooms randomly.The data obtained from the questionnaire were analysed with SPSS -Statistical Packages for the Social Sciences- through computer by the researcher. The descriptive analyses were performed by calculating the frequencies, percentages, and arithmetic mean s of the quantitative data in line with the sub goals. Furthermore, in order to determine the differences among the views, independent samples analysis of and `t` test, one -way anova, Scheffe test were done. In order to obtain teachers` and students` views about the application, semi-structured interview technique was used, the data elicited from the questions were investigated and evaluated through descriptive analysis.The result of the research revealed that,6.With the performance task, teachers are able to assess their students thoroughly and they do not want it to be removed from the programme; however the knowledge given to teachers about performance task is insufficient and theoretical, and it causes problems in the application phase, and teachers? knowledge is not clear and because of this reason, it cannot be utilised efficiently at schools7.The performance task improves higher order thinking skills, and since information gained this way is utilised in real life, it is appreciated by teachers. However, since the assessment of the tasks via performance task scale takes long time it causes problems. Furthermore, teachers have negative views about the performance task included in Social Studies teachers? manuals.8.While in terms of gender, there is no significant difference among teachers? views about the performance task used in Social Studies course there is a significant difference among teachers? views in terms of years of experience in their occupation; experienced teachers have positive views about the performance task.9.Teachers pay attention to the students? readiness level, the importance of the topic in the lesson, the socio-economic and socio-cultural conditions of surrounding and they pay attention to the fact that tasks are meaningful, clear and prescribed and possible to be completed in the given time and the same tasks are given to the students by ignoring the individual differences in the selection of the performance tasks.10.Performance tasks lead students to do research but the findings of the research from the internet are copied in the same manner and the conduct of the tasks in such a short time decreases the quality of tasks; and students and parents are unconscious about the topic and yet they want to do performance tasks but they are not set free in the selection of the topics and not involved in the assessment process.In parallel with the findings of the research, it is suggested that in new educational system which is going to be put into practise in 2012-2013 some detailed, applied, and practical seminars should be given to teachers, students, and parents by experts. Moreover, it is thought that with the applications such as insertion of the end of the year or school tasks and addition of the task scores to the exam scores can increase the importance given to the performance task. In addition, updating social studies teachers? manuals and diversifying the tasks they include, creating homework pools, developing grade specific assessment scales will increase the functionality of the performance task. The feasibility of functional performance task can be increased by creating performance classrooms, performance corners in the classrooms, and by creating archives of sample performance tasks collected from the previous tasks. In this sense, creating websites approved by Ministry of National Education, maintaining the involvement of the parents in the performance task procedures officially or preparing performance tasks that parents can not intervene in, can make significant contributions to the utilisation of performance task in education.Key words: Social Studies, Assessment of the performance, performance task, teachers? views, students? views. 265

Bu araştırma ile ilköğretim okulu birinci kademede öğrencisi bulunan bir velinin, okula ve çocuğuna ilişkin neleri bildiğini ve bu bilgileri hangi kaynaklardan elde ettiğini ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma genel tarama modelinde yapılmış ve araştırmanının evrenini Adana İli merkez ilçelerinde bulunan ilköğretim okulu birinci kademe öğrencilerinin velileri oluşturmuştur.Verilerin analizindeki istatistiksel işlemler için SPSS WIN 17.0 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Velilerin her soruya verdikleri cevaplar incelenerek, frekans (f) ve yüzde (%) dağılımları hesaplanmış, cinsiyet değişkeni açısından anlamlı farkın olup olmadığını belirlemek için t testi yapılmıştır. Ekonomik durum değişkeninde anlamlı faklılık olup olmadığını belirlemek için tek yönlü varyans analizi (Anova) yapılırken, eğitim durumu değişkenine göre anlamlı faklılık olup olmadığının tespiti Kruskall Wallis Testi ile yapılmıştır. Sonuçların yorumlanmasında .05 anlamlılık düzeyi dikkate alınmıştır.Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre velilerin büyük bir çoğunluğu okul ve çocuklarına ilişkin yeterli bilgiye sahiptir. Velilerin cinsiyetlerine göre bilgi düzeyleri arasında anlamlı farklılık dikkat çekmezken, sosyo-ekonomik düzeyleri ve eğitim düzeyleri değişkenleri açısından farklılıklar vardır. The research has been done in survey model and parents of students in the first grade of primary school existing in the central districts of Adana city have constituted the universe of the research.Package software SPSS WIN 17.0 has been used for the statistical accounts in data analysis. The responds of parents to each question having been scrutinized, frequency and percentage ranges have been accounted, t-test has been conducted in order to determine whether there is a meaningful difference from the point of gender variable. Whereas an one-way variance analysis (Anova) has been done in order to determine whether or not there is a meaningful difference in economical status variable, the determination of whether there is a meaningful difference or not according to educational status has been done by Kruskall Wallis Test. In the interpretation of the results .05 meaningfulness level has been considered.According to the findings acquired as a result of the research,a vast majority of parents have the sufficient information about school and their children. While a meaningful difference among the information levels of parents according to genders of them does not draw attention, there are differences from the point of socio-economic and educational status variables. Parents mostly have information about the school from teachers, parents? meeting and their children. Bu araştırma, sınıf öğretmenleri ile sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin, sosyal bilgiler dersinde kullanılan portfolyo değerlendirmeye yönelik görüşlerini tespit etmek amacı ile tarama modelinde yapılmış betimsel bir araştırmadır. Araştırma hem nitel hem de nicel yöntemler kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nicel kısmında betimsel araştırma modellerinden genel tarama yöntemi, nitel kısmında ise görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır.2009?2010 yılında yapılan araştırmada toplam 358 öğretmene ulaşılmıştır. 334 öğretmenden anket yoluyla, 24 öğretmenden de görüşme yoluyla bilgi toplanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin yüzde ve frekansları verilerek betimsel analizleri yapılmıştır. Ayrıca görüşler arasındaki anlamlı farklılıkların tespiti için bağımsız gruplar t-testi ve Kruskal Wallis H- testi analizleri yapılmıştır.Araştırma sonucunda;1- Öğretmenlerin; portfolyoları, sosyal bilgiler dersi için uygun bir ölçme ve değerlendirme aracı olarak gördükleri, portfolyolarla ilgili hizmet içi eğitim aldıkları ancak aldıkları bu eğitimi yetersiz gördükleri tespit edilmiştir. Okullarda portfolyo değerlendirme yönteminin uygulandığı fakat bu yöntemin etkili biçimde kullanılmadığı, öğretmenlerin, portfolyo çalışmalarının önümüzdeki yıllarda daha verimli olacağına inandıkları belirlenmiştir.2- Branşlarına, cinsiyetlerine ve mesleki kıdemlerine göre öğretmenlerin, sosyal bilgiler öğretiminde kullanılan portfolyo değerlendirmeye yönelik görüşleri arasında anlamlı düzeyde farklılık olmadığı görülmüştür.3- Öğretmenler, sosyal bilgiler öğretiminde kullanılan portfolyo değerlendirmenin; öğrencilerin, sosyalleşmesine katkı sağladığı, araştırma, sorgulama, eleştirel ve yaratıcı düşünme becerilerini geliştirdiği görüşündedir. Öğretmenlerin; portfolyo değerlendirmenin, öğrencilerin gelişimlerini nesnel ve somut bir şekilde gözlemleyerek, onların bireysel ihtiyaçlarını ve ilgi alanlarını daha sağlıklı bir şekilde belirlemelerine imkan sağladığını düşünmektedirler. Ayrıca öğretmenler portfolyoların, öğretmenler arasında bilgi, deneyim ve farklı çalışmaların paylaşımını arttırdığı, öğretmen, öğrenci ve veli arasındaki iletişimi olumlu yönde etkilediği görüşündedirler.4- Öğretmenler, sosyal bilgiler öğretiminde kullanılan portfolyo değerlendirmenin; fazla zaman, emek ve maddiyat gerektirdiği, öğrencilerin, portfolyo dosyalarını; taşıma, saklama ve korumada zorlandığını, kalabalık sınıfların portfolyo değerlendirmeyi olumsuz yönde etkilediği görüşündedirler. It is a descriptive study based on survey model. The data was collected utilizing both quantitative method where survey model was used and qualitative method via interviews.The participants of the study were 358 teachers in 2009-2010 educational term. 334 of them were given the questionnaire and 24 of them were interviewed. The data collected from the participants were then analyzed using descriptive statistics. Also, independent groups t-test and Kruskal Wallis H-test were also applied in order to determine statistically significant differences among teachers? perceptions.The analyses reveal the following results:1.Teachers find that using portfolios as a means of assessment and evaluation to be suitable to their needs and that although they have received in-service training on portfolios, they don?t think it was sufficient. It has also been revealed that portfolio assessment technique was adopted by most schools but the applications are not efficient. Teachers have expressed their belief that portfolio applications in schools will improve in the future.2.There is no significant difference between teachers? perceptions on portfolio assessment in social sciences courses in respect to the subject they teach, gender, and teaching experience.3.Teachers are of the opinion that portfolio assessment used in social sciences courses contributes to students? development of creative and critical thinking skills, exploration, reasoning, and social skills. They also believe that portfolio assessment helps them to observe students? development in an objective and somut way, and to determine students? personal needs, interests in a reliable way. They state that portfolio increases teachers? collaboration and interaction while enhancing sharing knowledge, experience, and thus, has a positive impact on communication among teachers, students, and parents.4.Teachers have also stated the drawbacks and the difficulties of portfolio application in social sciences courses such as the need for extra time, effort and money and the difficulty that students have in carrying and keeping their portfolios, the negative impact of crowded classes. As a result of these obstacles, teachers maintain that they have difficulty in creating rubrics and evaluation forms for portfolios, which makes it hard for them to establish reliable evaluations of students.In the light of the results gained from this study, it is suggested that teachers, students and parents should receive a comprehensive and practical training on portfolio application and that the necessary substructures for effective e-portfolio usage be established and maintained. The results also indicate the need for having classroom environments equipped with necessary materials for social sciences courses, increasing the number of classrooms in schools, conducting field work geared towards enhancing the positive effect of portfolio applications on students? success.Key words: Social studies, assessment and evaluation, portfolio assessment, teacher perceptions 263

Bu araştırma, ilköğretim sosyal bilgiler programındaki değerlerle ilgili kazanımlara yönelik öğretmenlerin görüşlerini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır.araştırma ilköğretim öğretmenlerinin sosyal bilgiler dersindeki değerlerin kazanım düzeyine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemeye yönelik, tarama modelinde betimsel bir çalışmadır.Araştırmanın çalışma evrenini 2007-2008 eğitim-öğretim yılında VAN ili merkez ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan sosyal bilgiler öğretmenleri ve 4.-5. sınıf öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada çalışma evreninin büyük olması nedeniyle örneklem alma yoluna gidilmiştir. Araştırmaya 290 öğretmen katılmıştır.Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilmiş Sosyal Bilgiler Kazanım Değerlendirme Anketi (SBKDA) kullanılmıştır.Elde edilen veriler spss paket programında analiz edilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin kişisel bilgileri ve öğretmenlerin değerlerle ilgili kazanımların mevcut programda ne kadar yer aldığı ve ne kadar yer alması gerektiği hakkındaki görüşlerine yönelik bulgular için frekans ve yüzdeler hesaplanmıştır. Öğretmenlerin değerlerle ilgili kazanımların mevcut programda ne kadar yer aldığı ve ne kadar yer alması gerektiği hakkındaki görüşleri arasındaki farklılık için ve cinsiyet değişkeni açısından anlamlı bir farklılık olup olmadığını belirlemek için t testi analizi yapılmıştır. Branş ve kıdem değişkenlerinde anlamlı farklılık olup olmadığını belirlemek için tek yönlü varyans anova analizi yapılmıştır.Araştırma sonucunda bulgular incelendiğinde cinsiyet ve branş değişkenleri açısından anlamlı bir farklılık görülmemiştir. Mevcut programda degerlerle ilgili kazanımların yeterli olup olmadığı sorusuna ise öğretmenlerin kazanımları yetersiz gördükleri cevabını vermişlerdir ve Öğretmenler değerlerle ilgili kazanımlara programda daha çok yer verilmesi istemektedirler. Öğretmenlerin mesleki kıdemlerine göre değerlere yönelik görüşleri incelendiğinde sosyal bilgiler programında değerlerle ilgili kazanımların var olan duruma yönelik görüşleri arasında anlamlı bir fark olmadığı görülmüştür. The data collected has been analysed through SPSS pack program. The personel information about the teachers and the findings for their views about to what extents the acquisitions related to values exist in the program and to what extents they must exist have been calculated with frequencies and percentages. In order to find out if there is a significant difference between teachers views about to what extents the acquisitions related to values exist in the program and to what extents they must exist and also in order to find out if there is difference in terms of gender analysis of t-test between independent teams has been done. In order to determine if there is a meningful difference in terms of branch and gender one way anova test has been conducted.When the findings are evaluated at the end of the research it is seen that there is not a meaningful difference in terms of variables of gender and branch. It is seen that most of the teachers think that acquisitions related to values in the present programme are insufficient and they must be featured in the new programme. Considering seniority of teachers it is obvious that there is not a significant difference between teachers? views about the acquisitions related to values in the present situation. However, teachers? views about the desired situation in which the acquisitions related values must be has changed according to their seniority in their profession.Keyword: 105

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı; ilköğretim dördüncü sınıf sosyal bilgiler dersinde kullanılan çoklu zekâ kuramı destekli proje tabanlı öğrenme yönteminin işe koşulduğu grup (deney grubu) ile ilköğretim dördüncü sınıf sosyal bilgiler programı doğrultusunda öğretimin işe koşulduğu grubun (kontrol grubu) sosyal bilgiler dersine ilişkin tutumları, akademik başarıları ve kalıcılık puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark olup olmadığını sınamaktır.Araştırma, öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu deneme modelinde tasarlanmıştır. Uygulama, 2007-2008 eğitim-öğretim yılı güz yarıyılında, Adana İli Ceyhan ilçesinde bulunan alt sosyo-ekonomik düzeydeki bir devlet ilköğretim okulunun iki dersliğinde okuyan toplam 50 öğrenci üzerinde, iki haftası hazırlık olmak üzere sekiz hafta süreyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu araştırmada, çoklu zekâ kuramı destekli proje tabanlı öğrenme yönteminin etkililiğini sınamak için aynı okulda ters devrelerde bulunan bir deney ve bir kontrol grubu seçilmiştir. Deney grubunda dersler, çoklu zekâ kuramı destekli proje tabanlı öğrenme yöntemi, kontrol grubunda ise 2005?2006 Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Öğretim Programında belirtilen içerik doğrultusunda işlenmiştir. Dersler, deney grubunda araştırmacı, kontrol grubunda ise sınıf öğretmeni tarafından yürütülmüştür.Araştırma, ?öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu? deneme modeline göre desenlenmiştir. m dördüncü ve beşinci sınıf öğrencilerinin yaptığı proje çalışmalarına yönelik öğretmen ve öğrenci görüşlerini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır.Araştırma hem nicel hem nitel özellik taşımaktadır. Araştırmada bulunan nicel veriler, Adana ili Seyhan, Çukurova, Yüreğir ve Sarıçam merkez ilçelerinde bulunan MEB' ye bağlı 70 ilköğretim okulunun dördüncü ve beşinci sınıfında görev yapmakta olan 382 öğretmenden ve bu ilköğretim okullarının dördüncü ve beşinci sınıflarında okuyan 208 öğrenciden elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada bulunan nitel veriler iki aşamada elde edilmiştir. Birinci aşamada veriler, bu ilköğretim okulları arasından amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden, kolay ulaşılabilirlik durum örneklemesine göre seçilen 5 ilköğretim okulunda görev yapan ve gönüllülük esasına göre seçilen 5 dördüncü sınıf, 5 beşinci sınıf öğretmeni olmak üzere toplam 10 öğretmen ile görüşme yapılarak elde edilmiştir. İkinci aşamada ise veriler, her SED'den bir okul belirlenerek bu okullarda görüşme yapılan sınıf öğretmenlerinin yardımıyla sınıflarından, başarı düzeyleri; düşük, orta ve yüksek düzeyde olan öğrencilerin listesi alınarak, her bir sınıftan her düzey için birer öğrenci rastgele seçilerek 18 öğrenci ile yapılan görüşme sonucunda elde edilmiştir.Nicel verilerin analizinde, frekans, yüzde ve aritmetik ortalama teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Anketlerle toplanan veriler bilgisayar ortamında SPSS istatistik paket programı kullanılarak uzman kişinin yardımıyla araştırmacı tarafından çözümlenmiştir. Anketlerin uygulanması sonunda elde edilen veriler bilgisayar programına aktarılarak alt amaçlar doğrultusunda istatistiksel analizler yapılmıştır. Bilgisayara aktarılan verilerin bazılarının betimsel istatistikleri, tek yönlü varyans analizleri ve t-testi analizleri yapılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin ve öğrencilerin uygulama ile ilgili görüşlerini almak için yarı yapılandırılmış sorular sorularak elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz yoluyla incelenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır.Araştırmada sonucunda; proje çalışmalarının hazırlama, uygulama ve değerlendirme aşamalarının büyük oranda anlamına uygun bir şekilde yerine getirildiği ancak belli bölümlerinin öğretmen ve öğrenci boyutunda sıkıntılar yarattığı, belirlenmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmen ve öğrencilerin proje çalışmalarına yönelik görüşleri arasında anlamlı farklılık olmadığı ancak ilköğretim dördüncü ve beşinci sınıf öğretmenlerinin proje çalışmalarına yönelik görüşleri arasında beşinci sınıf lehine anlamlı düzeyde fark olduğunu görülmüştür. Dördüncü ve beşinci sınıf öğrencilerinin proje çalışmalarına yönelik görüşleri arasında anlamlı düzeyde farklılık olmadığı gözlenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin çalıştığı çevrenin sosyo-ekonomik durumunun, öğrencilerin ise içinde bulundukları sosyo-ekonomik durumlarının projeye yönelik görüşlerini etkilediği sonucuna varılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin proje çalışmalarının içeriğine ve uygulama sürecine yönelik görüşlerinin benzer özellikte olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. The teacher, student and the parent questionnaires were used as data gathering instrument. The student and parent questionnaires involved two parts; one is the questions about textbook, the other is the questions about workbook. In the teacher 70 questionnaire there are three parts involving questions about the textbook, workbook and the teacher?s guide book.The study environment of the survey involves the teachers of 4 th and 5 th grades who had been teaching in Seyhan, Çukurova, Yüreğir and Sarıçam districts of Adana in the students of the 4 th and 5 th grades in there schools and the 208 students of the 382 teachers. In the analysis of the data Exel and SPSS programs were used. The reliability of the questionnaires was found by calculating the Cronbach Alpha coefficient.At the and of the survey it was found that there had been some missing aspects in the social studies textbooks, workbooks and teacher?s guide books in terms of Content, Physical and visual features, Language and explanation, Measurement and evaluation. In addition, the differences between the views of the students, teachers and the parents of students can be seen in accordance with the environment in which they live. So this shows that the books were not prepared by taking the environmental and individual differences into consideration. Considering there results it was suggested that the social studies textbook, the workbook and teacher?s guide book be revised. And it was also suggested that the represantatives of the students and the parents should participate the research commision of the books. Bu çalışmada ilköğretim altıncı sınıf sosyal bilgiler dersinde Obenchain ve Morris tarafından önerilen öğretim stratejilerinin öğrencilerin akademik başarılarına, tutumlarına ve kalıcılığa etkisi araştırılmıştır.Araştırma, 2006-2007 eğitim öğretim yılının birinci yarıyılında Adana ili Seyhan ilçesinde yer alan iki devlet ilköğretim okulunda yürütülmüştür. Bu araştırmanın amacı, İlköğretim 3. Sınıf Hayat Bilgisi dersinde sorgulama merkezli etkinliklerle yapılan proje çalışmalarındaki öğrenci performansını değerlendirmektir.Betimsel bir çalışma olup özel durum çalışması ( Bütüncül tek durum deseni ) niteliğindeki bu araştırma 2007?2008 öğretim yılında, 10 haftalık bir sürede Adana İli Yüreğir ilçesindeki bir devlet okulunda 3. sınıfta okuyan 25 öğrenciyle (13 erkek, 12 kız öğrenci) ile çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca öğrencilerin çalışmalarını değerlendirmek üzere 2 sınıf öğretmeni ile bir sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni de katılmıştır. Öğrencilerin kendileri ve gruplarını değerlendirmelerini sağlayacak değerlendirme formları oluşturulmuştur. The purpose of this research is to evaulate third grade Life Studies course students? performance on Inquiry-Based Project studies.This research is descriptive study and has private condition (monolith single condition pattern) was carried on with 25 students (13 boys,12 girls) studying on third grades in a state school Adana Province Yüreğir District for 10 weeks in 2007-2008 school year. Additionally, 2 class teachers and 1 Social Studies teacher took part in for evaluating the students. Assessment form was made up enabling to students both evaulating themselves and their groups. With this aim;?What do I know form??, `Group Essence Evaluation Form?, `Peer Evaluating Form?, and `I am evaulating by myself Form? that Linda CAMPELL formed and directed to evaluate the related information that the students having was carried out. Being evaulated the students by the teachers `Group Evaulation Form? and `Project Evaulation Forms?were used to collect data. Descriptive Statistic Techniques was used for analysing obtained quantitative data. Bu araştırma, ilköğretim sosyal bilgiler çalışma kitaplarında yer alan etkinlikleri yaratıcı düşünme açısından değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır.Araştırma hem nitel hem de nicel özellikler taşımaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Adana ili merkez ilçesinde yer alan iki okul oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada 4. ve 5. sınıf düzeyinde yirmi ikişer çalışma kitabı kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışma kitaplarında özellikle yaratıcı düşünce açısından anlamlı görülen etkinlikler seçilerek incelenmiş ve puanlanmıştır. Daha sonra 4. ve 5. sınıflardan toplam on bir sınıf öğretmeniyle görüşme yapılmıştır.Araştırmada Yaratıcı Etkinlikleri Puanlama Ölçeği'yle elde edilen verilerin betimsel analizi yapılmıştır. Etkinliklerden alınan puanlar arasında anlamlı düzeyde bir fark olup olmadığını belirlemek için ise ANOVA tekniği kullanılmıştır. The aim of this research is to evaluate the activities in the students?workbooks of primary school social studies course in terms of creative thinking skills.This research has both qualitative and quantitative attributes. The sample of this study were the two primary schools in the centre of Adana. 22 students? workbooks from the fourth grade and 22 students? workbooks from fifth grade were defined for their qualitative attributes and then rated using a researcher-developed instrument, the Creative Activities Rating Scale (CARS) in three dimensions as Fluency, Flexiblity and Originality as stated by the Torrance for this study. Further, 11 primary school teachers from fourth grade and fifth grade were interviewed by the researcher. ANOVA was used to evaulate the collected data from Creative Activities Rating Scale. Also, content analysis technique was used to analyze and interpret the document analysis of the students? workbooks and the interviews of primary school teachers.The research findings indicate that the activities named ?Brave Soldiers? and ?Writing A Story? were more effective than the others in the workbooks of the fourth grade students for three dimensions as Fluency, Flexiblity and Originality of creativity. The activities named ?The Money? and ?Looking into the Photograph? were seen more effective than the others in the workbooks of the fourth grade students for two dimensions as Fluency and Flexiblity of creativity.The activity named ?You Are a Scientist? was seen more effective than the others in the workbooks of the fifth grade students for three dimensions as Fluency, Flexiblity and Originality of creativity. The activity named ?Photographs? was seen more effective than the others in the workbooks of the fourth grade students for two dimensions as Fluency and Flexiblity of creativity. The activity named ?Shadow Play? was seen more effective than the others in the workbooks of the fifth grade students for two dimensions as Fluency and Originality of creativity. The activities named ?Going to the Past?, ?What Can We Do?? and ?If You Were A Prime Minister? were seen more effective than the others in the workbooks of the fourth grade students for one dimension as Flexiblity of creativity.According to the results of the research, teachers interviewed explained problems that the time of lessons and subjects, absence of materials, crowded class size, ruling out different levels of students learning, not comprehended activities by teachers and students, could make curriculum inefficient for developing creative thinking skills.
