This study aimed to expand our understanding of the role of organizational career growth in relation to career commitment, as mediated by work engagement. In total, 330 respondents recruited from a large hotel and resort company in South Korea were included in the analysis. Structural equation modeling and the PROCESS macro for SPSS were used to analyze the proposed hypotheses. The results revealed that the intrinsic function of organizational career growth was positively associated with work engagement. Furthermore, work engagement mediated the relationship between the intrinsic function of organizational career growth and career commitment. Moreover, employees' perception of leaders as role models moderated the relationship between work engagement and career commitment. In particular, the mediating role of work engagement in the relationship between the intrinsic function of organizational career growth and career commitment was stronger when employees perceived their leaders as role models. 3D-designs of free-form buildings are developed using a computer due to difficulty of shape implementation. When producing free-form concrete panel (FCP) using materials such as GFRC (glass fiber reinforced concrete), engineers or manufacturers should precisely calculate the offset value or geometry of each member at the junction point of three or more FCPs before it is constructed. However, it is difficult to calculate offset geometry easily and quickly, and no research has been conducted on this topic. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to develop a solution of subordinate vertices for quality connections of external free-form concrete panels. The developed mathematical solutions practically support the production of FCPs with precise installation to ensure aesthetic quality of the building. We examine cross-national differences in attitudes and decisions toward risk by comparing Chinese (collectivists), South Korean (collectivists, but with distinctive localized cultural norms), and Australian (individualists) undergraduate student samples from a balanced cross-cultural perspective. Individual evaluation revealed that risk was least favored by the Chinese students in their attitudes and choices, followed by the South Korean and Australian students. Unlike previous results from South Korean and Australian student samples that exhibited unique shifts toward risky choices indicative of group polarization, the Chinese students did not tend to take greater risks when making group versus individual decisions (i.e., risky shift). This was regardless of the group’s gender composition, although the pattern did vary according to financially oriented risk domains.
