The loss of productivity, car accidents, high emissions, and environmental pollution caused by traffic congestion has become a huge and increasingly heavy burden on all countries in the world. Therefore, the prediction of urban road network traffic flow and the rapid and accurate evaluation of traffic congestion are of great significance to the study of urban traffic solutions. Aim/Background: We investigated the composition and structure of intracellular polysaccharides in cucumber seeds (CSs) and their effect on Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats and potential activity for fracture healing. Materials and Methods: Polysaccharides are its main water-soluble active ingredient. The SD rat tibia fracture model was established by surgical method, and the healing effect of cucumber seed polysaccharides (CSPs) on SD rat tibia fracture was preliminarily explored. Through histopathological observation, determination of rat serum indicators alkaline phosphatase (AKP), acid phosphatase (ACP), BGP, X-ray imaging observation, and micro-Computed Tomography (CT) imaging observation at different periods. Results and Conclusion: The results showed that CSP enhanced the activity of osteoblasts, increased the metabolic rate of osteoclasts, increased the secretion of AKP, BGP, and ACP, shortened the fracture healing time of SD rats and effectively promoted the healing of tibial fractures in SD rats. Soft error has increasingly become a critical concern for SRAM-based field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), which could corrupt the configuration memory that stores configuration data describing the custom-designed circuit architecture. To mitigate this kind of error, this study proposes a brain-inspired hybrid-grained scrubbing mechanism consisting of fine-grained and coarse-grained scrubbing to mitigate and repair the errors as quickly as possible after an SEU occurrence. Inspired by the human brain's ability to filter out redundant and irrelevant information, we propose a mechanism that can mask invalid position information when errors occur. Compared with the scrubbing of full configuration memory, this mechanism can achieve precise error location and recovery utilizing targeted scrubbing of specific frames or modules. The effectiveness is evaluated by executing fault injection campaigns on the International Symposium on Circuits and Systems 1989 (ISCAS89) benchmark circuits and fault tolerant fast Fourier transform (FT-FFT) circuit. If upsets are detected, they will be repaired with fine-grained or coarse-grained scrubbing depending on their location. The experiment results show that this mechanism can effectively mitigate and repair single-bit upsets (SBUs) and double-bit upsets (DBUs). Introduction: Emerging evidence suggests that the essence of life is the ecological balance of the neural, endocrine, metabolic, microbial, and immune systems. Gut microbiota have been implicated as an important factor affecting thyroid homeostasis., Objectives: This study aims to explore the relationship between gut microbiota and the development of thyroid carcinoma., Methods: Stool samples were collected from 90 thyroid carcinoma patients (TCs) and 90 healthy controls (HCs). Microbiota were analyzed using 16S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing. A cross-sectional study of an exploratory cohort of 60 TCs and 60 HCs was conducted. The gut microbiota signature of TCs was established by LEfSe, stepwise logistic regression, lasso regression, and random forest model analysis. An independent cohort of 30 TCs and 30 HCs was used to validate the findings. Functional prediction was achieved using Tax4Fun and PICRUSt2. TC patients were subsequently divided into subgroups to analyze the relationship between microbiota and metastatic lymphadenopathy., Results: In the exploratory cohorts, TCs had reduced richness and diversity of gut microbiota compared to HCs. No significant difference was found between TCs and HCs on the phylum level, though 70% of TCs had increased levels of Proteobacteria- types based on dominant microbiota typing. A prediction model of 10 genera generated with LEfSe analysis and lasso regression distinguished TCs from HCs with areas under the curves of 0.809 and 0.746 in the exploration and validation cohorts respectively. Functional prediction suggested that the microbial changes observed in TCs resulted in a decline in aminoacyl-tRNA biosynthesis, homologous recombination, mismatch repair, DNA replication, and nucleotide excision repair. Objectives: To assess the prevalence and factors associated with physical and nonphysical violence in a sample of general practitioners (GPs)., Methods: We used a cross-sectional design to collect data from December 2014 to March 2015 with a structured self-administered questionnaire from 1015 GPs in Hubei Province, Central China (response rate, 85.6%). We used a multivariable logistic regression model to identify the predictors associated with workplace violence toward GPs., Results: Of the respondents, 62.2% of respondents reported exposure to workplace violence in the preceding year, including 18.9% and 61.4% who encountered physical and nonphysical violence, respectively. Multivariable logistic regression analysis suggested that GPs who were male, at a higher professional level, and who had a lower average monthly income were more likely to experience physical violence. Male GPs, less-experienced GPs, and those with administrative responsibility were more likely than their counterparts to encounter nonphysical violence., Conclusions: This study shows that the prevalence of workplace violence against GPs is high in Hubei, China. Creating a prevention strategy and providing safer workplace environments for GPs should be urgently prioritized.
