Experiment was conducted to evaluate the weight based fertigation strategies in soilless coloured capsicum under greenhouse. Weight based sensing system was developed to continuously monitor water loss from grow bag and plants by transpiration for fertigation scheduling. The experiment was conducted using treatments comprised of T1, where the weight loss of growing media and plants by transpiration was fully replenished by nutrient solution; T2, T3 and T4, which received 10% 20% and 30% less amount of nutrient solution, respectively as compared to T1 treatment. The plant height (104 cm) and leaf area (3353.352 cm2) was observed significantly higher in the treatment (T1) which received 100% fertigation against the weight loss. Dry biomass and root parameters were found higher in the T1 treatment. Significantly higher capsicum yield (61.716 t/ha), and kg of fruit/plant (1.543 kg/plant) were observed in T1 treatment compared to other treatments. Water use efficiency was found significantly higher in treatment T1 (296.23 kg/ha mm) and lowest (199.954 kg/ha mm) in case of T4 treatment. Fertigation strategy which received the 100% nutrient solution against the weight loss without drainage, allowed the plant to grow with maximum yield and water use efficiency (WUE). Therefore, the 100% or more nutrient solution against weight loss could be a suitable strategy for controlling the fertigation scheduling through the weight based sensing system.

A new, simple, rapid, precise, accurate and reproducible RP-HPLC method for estimation of Pitavastatin in bulk form and marketed formulation. Separation of Pitavastatin was successfully achieved on a Develosil ODS HG-5 RP C18, 5μm, 15cmx4.6mm i.e. column in an isocratic mode of separation utilizing Methanol: Phosphate buffer (0.02M, pH3.6) in the ratio of 45:55% v/v at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min and the detection was carried out at 255nm. The method was validated according to ICH guidelines for linearity, sensitivity, accuracy, precision, specificity and robustness. The response was found to be linear in the drug concentration range of 12-28mcg/mL for Pitavastatin. The correlation coefficient was found to be 0.9995 for Pitavastatin. The LOD and LOQ for Pitavastatin were found to be 5.004μg/mL and 15.164μg/mL respectively. The proposed method was found to be a good percentage recovery for Pitavastatin, which indicates that the proposed method is highly accurate. The specificity of the method shows a good correlation between the retention times of the standard solution with the sample solution. Therefore, the proposed method specifically determines the analyte in the sample without interference from excipients of pharmaceutical dosage forms. Background: Elevated temperature and water stress are the key limiting factors affecting the kidney bean yield. Climate change is projected to enhance these risks for successful crop production. However quantified information, which is limited, on temperatures stress at various growth phases in combination with water regimes, becomes important for optimizing management decisions for higher productivity of kidney bean. The current study is aimed to fill this gap. Methods: A field experiment was conducted during January-April 2020, to investigate the effect of irrigation and temperature regimes on growth parameters and yield of kidney bean. Temperature treatments imposed were elevated temperature for entire crop period i) ~4.6°C ii) ~3.1°C iii) ~2.8°C above mean ambient (19.6°C), iv) ambient temperature Tmax and Tmin regime of 25.9/13.4°C (mean 19.6°C), v) elevated temperature during pre-flowering phase (~3.7°C above mean ambient during that period, 19.6°C), vi) flowering phase (~5.3°C above mean ambient during that period, 23.1°C) and pod-filling phase (~5.2°C above mean ambient during that period, 28.9°C). These were combined with i) two irrigations (applied at sowing and seedling phase) and ii) three irrigations (additional irrigation at pod-filling phase). Result: Elevated temperature regimes led to shortening of the crop duration. LAI, NDVI, net photosynthesis and seed yield were higher in plants exposed to continuous elevated temperature. Heat shock during pre-flowering and flowering led to reduction in yield. Despite exposure to elevated temperature, supplemental irrigation led to higher yield. Seed yield loss was greater when temperature stress coincided with water stress. The negative effects of high temperature were significantly curtailed by provision of supplemental irrigation.

The present paper investigates the effects of different nanoparticles blended with biodiesel on performance and emission characteristics of the diesel engine. However, inherent drawbacks like lower heating value, higher density, and viscosity while increased fuel consumption and NOx emissions limit the biodiesel application in engines. In this way, the additives in the form of nanoparticles of different materials play a prominent role to mitigate the drawbacks of biodiesel. The higher calorific value, thermal conductivity, and surface to volume ratio properties of nanoparticles enhanced the engine performance, combustion and emissions compared to neat biodiesel and biodiesel-diesel blends. This study uses five different Diesel, B20, B20CO, B20TO and B20COTO test fuels to be prepared at a different volume mixing ratio. It was concluded that by B20COTO nanoparticle additive fuel showed high BTE and reduced BSFC, HC and NOx emissions on a diesel engine as correlated to other fuels. B20CO fuel showed lower CO emissions as compared other fuels.

The Main aim of the work to mitigate the Environmental Hazards encountered in the Sewage treatment plant applying the Fault tree analysis methods minimize the chances of risk involved in the Treatment plants. This work was done in a company located in Mumbai, India. The considered company is administrated by Government, and it produces many chemicals for various purposes. At second, the problem of sewage water is high in all over Mumbai. The Risk assessment is carried out in sewage treatment plant by categorize the factors influenced on each work activity and adopting the Fault tree analysis methodology to reduce the hazards and risks Industry has its sewage treatment plant. The prime issue is that the sewage treatment plant is a failure in reverse osmosis and releases liquid chlorine in the field area. This study aims to find out what are the root causes of above two failure parameter.

Cryptography is a well-known and well-researched topic for ages. Cryptography is the first line of defense for any networked system. By using Symmetric as well as Asymmetric Cryptography a lot of algorithms are developed. From the security point of view, Asymmetric Cryptography is more popular as security has been enhanced. RSA, DSA, ECS, DES, ECC and other algorithms have been developed for realizing Asymmetric Cryptosystem. These algorithms are primarily used for secure and reliable communication. These algorithms play a vital role in secure communication. Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) provides similar security having less key size among them. In the present paper, an improved MOD-ECDH has been proposed and the proposed algorithm has been compared with other various popular algorithms like ECDH, RSA, ECS has been demonstrated. A detail both empirical and simulation study of the algorithm of ECDH and MOD-ECDH has been depicted. From result analysis, it is evident that the proposed algorithm outperforms the other algorithms in point of processing time and key size.

Cognitive based (Chatbot) blood bank provides the communication platform among the stakeholders of blood bank. In the past the blood recipient will have to contact the blood bank and the blood donors individually, which is a time consuming process. To address this issue in this paper we propose a Secure Dynamic Interactive Blood Bank based on Cognitive Computing which can fulfill the blood request of the needy with less hardship. Hence the proposed work aims to overcome this problem by requesting the recipient to simply send a message to a chatbot. The motivated individuals who are willing to donate blood can register their name by interacting with the chatbot. If the requested blood group is available at the blood bank / registered donor then the recipient will get contact details of the blood bank / registered donors available at that instant. Donor data will be maintained in Cloud database. The proposed system is a cognitive chatbot, which acts as a communication platform among the stakeholders such as blood bank, blood donor and the needy. This system is built using cognitive technology of Google; it makes conversations using chatbots very similar to human conversations, thereby making the proposed system more efficient compared to the existing ones.

Receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) are essential proteins in the regulation of cell signaling. Tyro3, Axl and Mer are members of TAM RTKs and are overexpressed in several cancer forms. Kinase inhibitors such as cabozantinib, foretinib are reported to inhibit TAM kinases at nanomolar concentrations. The atomistic details of structure and mechanism of functional regulation is required to understand their normal physiological process and when bound to an inhibitor. The docking of cabozantinib into the active state conformations of TAM kinases (crystal structure and computational models) revealed the best binding pose and the complex formation that is mediated through non-bonding interactions involving the hinge region residues. The alterations in the conformations and the regions of flexibility in apo and complexed TAM kinases as a course of time are studied using 250 ns molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. The post-MD trajectory analysis using Python libraries like ProDy, MDTraj and PyEMMA revealed encrypted protein dynamic motions in active kinetic metastable states. Comparison between Principal component analysis and Anisotropic mode analysis deciphered structural residue interactions and salt bridge contacts between apo and inhibitor bound TAM kinases. Various structural changes occurred in αC-helix and activation loop involving hydrogen bonding between residues from Lys-(β3 sheet), Glu-(αC-helix) and Asp-(DFG-motif) resulting in higher RMSD. Mechanical stiffness plots revealed that similar regions in apo and cabozantinib bound Axl fluctuated during MD simulations whereas different regions in Tyro3 and Mer kinases. The residue interaction network plots revealed important salt bridges that lead to constrained domain motions in the TAM kinases.Communicated by Ramaswamy H. Sarma.
