Sclerocarya birrea (A. Rich.) Hochst. is an African wild tree found in many countries across the continent. Its leaves, bark, root, and fruits are used in food, cosmetics, and traditional medicine. However, no systematic bibliometric review on S. birrea have been performed so far. This study covered publications made in 1986–2022 and investigated such bibliometric indicators as knowledge dynamics, links and structure, relevant journals, productive organizations, renowned authors, authoring patterns, national and international collaboration levels, etc. The bibliometric data on a total of 369 publications were downloaded from Scopus database and analyzed using the MS-Excel and VOSViewer software. The Scopus publications on S. birrea showed a versatile range in the interdisciplinary areas of research, with agricultural and biological sciences predominating. The Republic of South Africa was responsible for the largest number of citations. All in all, 63 countries published research on S. birrea in the specified time period, and the share of African countries was 65.43% of the total global research. Co-authorship and international collaboration were registered for six clusters. A total of 1114 researchers and 160 institutions actively contributed to S. birrea studies, with 37 having a minimum of five publications. Mapping of knowledge structure using the keyword co-occurrence revealed the related research areas. The Journal of Ethnopharmacology took the lead in terms of average citation. The co-citation analysis revealed some remarkable dynamics in S. birrea research. This bibliometric study provides a complete insight into S. birrea research development and publication patterns over the last 36 years.

The adoption of sustainable development goals by the United Nations in 2015 has led to an increasing focus on sustainable development and green practices among academics and private industry professionals. This study aims to explore the research landscape of "Green Human Resource Management” and "sustainable development". Despite the increasing attention in recent years, the field remains in its infancy. To gain insights, five research questions were formulated and addressed using descriptive and network analyses. Applying descriptive statistics reveals that the fields of research on "sustainable development" and " Green Human Resource Management " encompass eight different subject areas, indicating the multifaceted and expansive nature of these subjects. Beyond 2020, a noteworthy rising trend in publications is noted. Having contributed 22 articles since the field's inception, the Journal of Cleaner Production stands out as a major publication source. Developing nations such as Malaysia, China, and India are leading in research contributions, indicating a strong inclination towards sustainable practices. Brazil stands out with the highest citation count, attributed to its significant environmental challenges. Network analysis identifies prominent themes and their interconnections. Thematic evolution analysis shows substantial growth in literature from 2015 to 2023, with organizational sustainable performance and supply chain management emerging as significant themes in recent years. Notably, authors Jabbour CJC, De Sousa Jabbour, and Latan H. are highlighted for their prolific contributions, particularly in the early stages of ``Green Human Resource Management’’ and ‘’sustainable development’’ literature. This study provides valuable insights for management professionals and researchers by highlighting influential articles, authors, sources, countries, and affiliations. It is a comprehensive reference for understanding the evolving landscape of Green Human Resource Management and sustainable development literature. Additionally, it emphasizes the need for continuous research and collaboration to address environmental challenges and promote sustainable business practices globally.

We are proud that during this time, we have achieved indexing in Scopus, as well as several national and international awards and recognitions, which also means an enormous commitment to the Research Center of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Cuenca, where the journal is edited. Our editorial team today consists of six editors, 18 members of the new Editorial Advisory Board, and five professionals in charge of editorial management and production. This edition, the first of the quarter-century, contains 16 scientific articles, all of which can be read in English. The research results are located in seven countries on three continents: Spain, China, Argentina, Turkey, Mexico, Ecuador and Ukraine.

Buildings have a significant impact on climate change through their resource and energy consumption. This paper focuses on the importance of building energy simulation in reducing energy consumption and enhancing building sustainability. The study followed a systematic research plan, which involved extracting, preprocessing, and categorizing citation data from Scopus covering the period from 1982 to 2022. Utilizing the PRISMA Algorithm, a total of 3,049 studies were analyzed. The research objectives included descriptive, network, and quantitative content analysis. The study successfully identified influential documents, authors, journals, organizations, and countries. Additionally, scientific maps were created to visualize the research landscape and identify gaps in the field. The analysis of studies identifies emerging research areas like artificial neural networks, NZEB, genetic algorithms, machine learning, and retrofitting, which hold potential for future research. Sosyal medya, geleneksel ağızdan ağıza iletişimi dijital platformlara taşıyarak bireyler ve kurumların iletişim biçimlerinde büyük değişikliklere yol açmıştır. Sosyal medya kullanıcılarının etkileşimlerinden oluşan büyük veri kümeleri, araştırmacılar için önemli birer kaynak haline gelmiştir. Bu verilerin analizine yönelik çalışmalar hızla artmakta ve sosyal medya analitiği verilerinin bilimsel araştırmalara katkısı giderek önem kazanmaktadır. Bibliyometrik çalışmalar da bu bağlamda akademik trendleri izlemek için kritik bir araç olarak öne çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, "Sosyal Medya Analitiği" üzerine yayımlanan uluslararası araştırmaların bibliyometrik yöntemle incelenmesi ve bu yayınlar arasındaki ilişkilerin somut bir şekilde ortaya konulmasıdır. 24 Temmuz 2024'te Scopus veri tabanında yapılan bir arama sonucunda, sosyal medya analitiğiyle ilgili 6.541 esere ulaşılmıştır. Bu eserler, yıl, ülke, yazar, atıf ve anahtar kelime kullanımı gibi kriterlere göre analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmada sadece bibliyometrik özelliklerin görselleştirilmesi değil, aynı zamanda bu yayınlar arasındaki ilişkilerin derinlemesine anlaşılmasına da olanak sağlanmıştır. Verilerin kullanıldığı bağlamların analizi, literatürdeki bilgi boşluklarını belirlemekte ve gelecekteki çalışmalara yol göstermektedir. Çalışma bulgularına göre sosyal medya analitiği konusunda yılının ilk ve tek yayını 2005 yılında görülmüş olup 2009 yılından itibaren çalışmaların sayısı artan bir ivmeyle çoğalmıştır. Ayrıca en çok çalışmanın yapıldığı ülke ABD, en çok iş birliği yapılan kurum Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, en çok atıf alan yazar Carlos Castillo, en çok araştırma yapılan anahtar kelimenin social media (sosyal medya) olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yıllara göre araştırma trendinin büyük veri, duygu analizi, derin makine öğrenmesi, yapay zekâ konularına doğru yoğunlaştığı, küresel pandeminin yaşandığı dönemlerde pandemi özelinde araştırmaların yapıldığı sonucuna varılmıştır.

Este estudio sobre responsabilidad social empresarial (RSE) y su impacto en el desempeño financiero (DF) se centró en estudios de enfoque cuantitativo y nivel explicativo de los últimos dos años. Se empleó una muestra de 47 artículos publicados en la revista Scopus en el período 2022-2023. El objetivo de la investigación fue proporcionar una revisión sistemática de los diferentes métodos de regresión empleados en estudios de distintos sectores económicos. El método adoptado fue una revisión sistemática de la literatura, aplicando criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Los resultados mostraron que el sector económico industrial fue el más estudiado en comparación con otros sectores económicos, y los métodos de análisis de regresión más usados fueron: el método de efectos fijos (FEM), las técnicas de modelado de ecuaciones estructurales (SEM) y el modelado de ecuaciones estructurales con mínimos cuadrados parciales (PLS-SEM). Asimismo, se observó una mayor tendencia de estudios realizados en economías desarrolladas que en economías emergentes. Este trabajo contribuye al facilitar una guía sobre los métodos de regresión más utilizados en distintos sectores económicos, sirviendo de referencia para futuras investigaciones.

This study explores the development of cognitive technology in logistics research from 1998 to 2023 through a bibliometric analysis. Using data from the Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus, the research examines how knowledge in this field has evolved, focusing on global knowledge exchange and emerging research trends. The study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing a bibliometric analysis model supported by specific research questions. The analysis covers document sources, geographic origins, publishers, document types, and publication peaks. A keyword connection map illustrates key findings, revealing notable differences in publication numbers between the two databases, with Scopus containing a broader range of research areas. The United States is identified as a leading source of publications, primarily scientific articles. Key themes include demographics, controlled studies, cognition, logistics, machine learning, and technology. The research highlights the importance of bibliometrics in understanding knowledge dynamics and suggests further exploration of cognitive technologies in Logistics.

This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of current knowledge, highlight research gaps, and identify emerging trends to guide future research in the area of Islamic stock markets. It addresses the lack of a thorough bibliometric analysis in this area using reliable databases such as Scopus. The study applied a bibliometric analysis on 624 documents retrieved from the Scopus database using certain criteria. The Bibliometrix R package was used to perform the analysis. In this way, the most prolific affiliations, authors, documents, scientific networks between different countries, co-occurrence and co-citation networks, and trends in the research field were identified in the study. The results reveal that Pacific Basin Finance Journal and International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management are the journals that contribute the most in this field. The results also reveals that the most influential authors are M. Masih and S. Hammoudeh. Malaysian universities are the most productive institutions, while Malaysia is the most cooperative country according to the country cooperation network. The most studied topics in this field are the comparison of Islamic and conventional stock markets in terms of performance and volatility spillovers between them. New topics within Islamic stock markets research field have focused more COVID-19 and bitcoin. Most of the bibliometric studies in the field of Islamic finance have focused on Islamic banking, sukuk, Islamic capital markets and takaful.

Araştırmanın amacını bibliyometrik analiz türü kullanılarak, Scopus veri tabanında yer alan işgörenlerde mobbing konulu çalışmaların incelenmesi oluşturmaktadır. Bu kapsamda araştırmada betimsel özellik gösteren tarama modeli kullanılmaktadır. Tarama modelinde nicel araştırma yöntemi olan bibliyometrik analizinden faydalanılmıştır. Scopus veri tabanı olarak tercih edilmiştir ve 25.05.2024 tarihinde veri tabanı üzerinde “mobbing” ve “employee” kelimelerinin yer almasına ilişkin bir tarama gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu bağlamda araştırmanın evrenini dünya üzerinde işgörenlerde mobbing kavramıyla ilişkili yapılmış çalışmalar oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise, Scopus veri tabanında bahsedilen anahtar kelime başlığında, arasında “başlık (title), “anahtar kelime (keywords)” ve “abstract (özet)” olarak kullanılan çalışmalar meydana getirmektedir. Elde edilen verilerin görsel analizinde Vosviewer istatistik programından yararlanılmıştır. Tarama kapsamında bu anahtar kelimeler ile ilgili 1984 ile 2024 yılları arasında 241 mevcut çalışmaya ulaşılmıştır. Anahtar kelime analizi neticesinde zorbalık ve iş yeri zorbalığı, çatışma, işgören ilişkileri ve depresyon ifadelerine rastlanmıştır. Anahtar kelimeler arasında yer alan zorbalık, çatışma ve işgören ilişkileri kelimelerinin en fazla tercih edilen anahtar kelimeler olarak tercih edilmesi, mobbingin tanımında sıklıkla kullanılmalarından kaynaklanmaktadır.

Objectives. This bibliometric analysis aimed to examine the trends, patterns, and significant contributions to the understanding of the one-handed backhand drive biomechanics in tennis from 2000 to 2024. Materials and methods. Using the Web of Science and Scopus databases, a systematic review of academic literature was conducted, including articles, conference papers, and reviews. The study examined publishing trends, geographical distribution, authorship, citations, and thematic content. Results. The analysis revealed a steady increase in publications, reaching a peak between 2015 and 2020. Research articles were the most common document type, followed by reviews and conference papers. The United States and Australia were the leading contributors, with a strong culture of international collaboration evident. Keywords such as “biomechanics,” “tennis,” “backhand,” and “performance” were central to the research. The Journal of Sports Biomechanics was a prominent publication venue, with several highly cited documents. Conclusions. The bibliometric analysis demonstrated significant scientific progress in understanding the biomechanical principles of the one-handed backhand drive in tennis. It highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and global partnerships in advancing sports biomechanics research. The study serves as a comprehensive reference for scholars, coaches, and practitioners, offering insights into performance enhancement and injury prevention strategies, and identifying potential areas for further research.

Background: The rise of artificial intelligence in healthcare, particularly the development of large language models like ChatGPT, has opened new avenues for innovation in medical fields, including plastic surgery. ChatGPT offers potential applications in patient education, surgical planning, and decision-making support, making it an important research subject. However, there has been limited investigation into its impact on plastic surgery. The objective of this study was to investigate the progress of research on ChatGPT and plastic surgery, focusing on key contributors and emerging topics within the field. Methods: Five distinct search strategies were employed to analyze relevant publications from the Scopus database. Results: The analysis identified and presented the top authors, universities, countries, sponsors, and journals (within each search strategy). The co-authorship networks of authors, universities, and countries are graphically presented. The authors’ performance was depicted by various indicators, such as total publications, citations, h-index, g-index, and m-index. A co-word analysis revealed the focus of the papers, which were presented in 15 groups. This multifaceted approach provides a detailed understanding of key themes in the field. Conclusion: This report offers a comprehensive overview of the current state of research at the intersection of ChatGPT and plastic surgery.

Introducción/objetivo: este estudio investigó cómo las brechas de género afectan la participación laboral femenina desde una perspectiva económica, para lo cual se tomó en consideración la literatura académica en la base de datos Scopus desde el 2014 hasta el 2024. Metodología: se empleó un diseño mixto que combina un estudio bibliométrico y un análisis temático cualitativo. Esta aproximación permitió evaluar las publicaciones relevantes, identificando redes de coautoría, frecuencia de términos clave y los principales temas abordados en los artículos analizados. Resultados: los hallazgos destacan una persistente subrepresentación de las mujeres en roles de liderazgo y sectores de alta tecnología. También se identificó un interés creciente por los efectos de la brecha de género en el proceso salud-enfermedad, así como la existencia de sesgos estructurales que limitan el acceso equitativo de las mujeres al mercado laboral. Además, se identificaron tendencias clave en la producción científica sobre el tema y su impacto creciente. Los resultados subrayan la necesidad de integrar perspectivas de género en las políticas económicas para abordar estas desigualdades. El estudio propone dos matrices de datos que sugieren líneas de acción para fomentar la equidad de género y mejorar la participación económica femenina. Conclusiones: Las ciencias económicas desempeñan un papel crucial en la formulación de estrategias que no solo visibilicen los desafíos asociados con las brechas de género, sino que también impulsen soluciones prácticas y efectivas. Esto es especialmente relevante en contextos latinoamericanos, donde las estructuras económicas y sociales presentan desafíos particulares. ABSTRACT: Introduction/Objective: This study examines how gender gaps impact female labor participation from an economic perspective, drawing on academic literature available in the SCOPUS database between 2014 and 2024. Methodology: A mixed-methods approach was applied, combining a bibliometric study with qualitative thematic analysis. This approach facilitated the evaluation of relevant publications by identifying co-authorship networks, term frequencies, and the main themes addressed in the analyzed articles. Results: The findings reveal a persistent underrepresentation of women in leadership roles and high-tech sectors. Additionally, there is increasing attention to the effects of gender gaps on health-disease processes and evidence of structural biases that hinder equitable access for women to the labor market. Key trends in the scientific production on this topic and its growing impact were also identified. The results underscore the need to integrate gender perspectives into economic policies to effectively address these inequalities. The study offers two data matrices that outline potential lines of action to promote gender equity and enhance female economic participation. Conclusions: Economic sciences play a critical role in designing strategies that not only highlight challenges associated with gender gaps but also promote practical and effective solutions. This is particularly relevant in Latin American contexts, where unique economic and social structures pose specific challenges.

This study aims to determine the mapping of Go Green Diponegoro University journal articles in the Scopus database from 2013-2022 with bibliometric analysis. The method used is quantitative descriptive bibliometrics with VOSviewer analysis of co-authorship, co-occurrences, citation and data retrieval through Scopus journals. The results of the research for ten years produced 152 total documents, the growth of documents in each year is still fluctuating, but there has begin to be a steady increase starting from 2019-2022, the most productive researcher is Kusworo T.D with 9 documents and the researcher with the most citations is Sasmono R. T with 166 citations, the publishing institution that publishes the most Go Green articles is Heliyon, the institution that collaborates the most with Diponegoro University is the Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia, the collaborating countries are Japan and Malaysia, the most keywords from the author's point of view are 'antioxidant' (4) and 'growth' (4) and seen from the index keywords the most are 'controlled study' (24) and 'male' (23), while for keywords that are still low in frequency are climate change, energy optimization, water, waste and zinc, and the average citation per document is obtained 11.47%. The article with the most citations is the article Zhou b., et.al with 543 citations and the article with the most links is the article Fahri s., et.al with 3 links, while the journal that has the most citations is occupied by The Lancet journal with 543 citations.

This study aims to explore and evaluate studies that have addressed issues of democratic failure in the last two decades, 2004-2024. In addition to using bibliometric analysis, this study also uses VOSviewer application-based software in exploring and evaluating entity patterns, themes, and developments of studies that focus on discussing democratic failure in the last two decades, 2004-2024. From exploring 1063 total documents, this study found that the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Russian Federation are the most active in publishing studies focusing on democratic failure in Democratization Journal, Journal of Democracy, Political Quarterly, and Third World Quarterly. However, these studies have not been able to intervene and respond to the structural, cultural, and even spiritual challenges that underlie the difficulty of implementing a democratic political system in the era of globalization. This study also recommends the importance of future studies to analyze the factors and implications of the failure of democracy in concept and practice on the welfare of the people in a country. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan mengevaluasi studi-studi yang membahas isu-isu kegagalan demokrasi dalam dua dekade terakhir, 2004-2024. Selain menggunakan analisis bibliometrik, studi ini juga menggunakan perangkat lunak berbasis aplikasi VOSviewer dalam mengeksplorasi dan mengevaluasi pola entitas, tema, dan perkembangan studi yang fokus membahas kegagalan demokrasi dalam dua dekade terakhir, 2004-2024. Dari penelusuran terhadap 1063 total dokumen, studi ini menemukan bahwa Amerika Serikat, Inggris, dan Federasi Rusia merupakan negara yang paling aktif dalam mempublikasikan studi yang fokus membahas mengenai kegagalan demokrasi di Jurnal Demokrasi, Jurnal Demokrasi, Political Quarterly, dan Third World Quarterly. Namun demikian, studi-studi tersebut belum mampu mengintervensi dan menjawab tantangan-tantangan struktural, kultural, bahkan spiritual yang mendasari sulitnya penerapan sistem politik demokratis di era globalisasi. Penelitian ini juga merekomendasikan pentingnya penelitian-penelitian di masa depan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor dan implikasi dari kegagalan demokrasi secara konsep dan praktik terhadap kesejahteraan rakyat di suatu negara.

Background: Camelids play an important role in the preservation of ecosystems, biodiversity, food security, economic growth, adaptation to climate change, and cultural and social aspects. Therefore, the United Nations (UN) has named 2024 the International Year of Camelids (IYC). Aim: This study aimed to assess the recent progress in camel research and its citation effect as shown in the Scopus database in the IYC. Methods: On March 17, 2024, a literature search was done to discover papers indexed in Scopus® using the search terms "camel", "camelids", and "Camelus dromedarius". Automatic and manual screening processes were used. Results: Between 1850 and 2024, a total of 15,844 camelid-related papers were published. Approximately 30% of these documents were released within the previous five years (2019-2023). Camel research was included into 28 scientific topics. The top five topics were agricultural and biological sciences, medicine, veterinary science, biochemistry, genetics and molecular biology, immunology, and microbiology. The top five authors in camel research were Faye B, Wernery U, Muyldermans S, Kinne J, and Sahani MS. The top five camel research contributors among 159 academic institutions were from King Saud University, King Faisal University, ICAR-National Research Centre on Camel, Bikane, Cairo University, and United Arab Emirates University. Out of 152 nations active in camel research, the top five were the United States, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Undefined, and India. The top five languages were English, French, Chinese, Russian, and German. The camel research was financed by 158 sponsors, with the top five being undefined, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Deanship of Scientific Research, King Saud University, the National Institutes of Health, and the National Science Foundation. Camel papers have been published under 161 source titles. The top five sources were: Journal of Camel Practice and Research, Tropical Animal Health and Production, Indian Journal of Animal Sciences, Veterinary Parasitology, and Emirates Journal of Food and Agriculture. Conclusion: Although camelids are understudied in scientific studies, there has been a promising increase in camel research over the past five years. Furthermore, the IYC may give a unique opportunity to assist scientific research, particularly in low-income countries with large camelid populations. [Open Vet J 2024; 14(11.000): 2877-2882]

Soil is a valuable resource for food production, and it demands a long time to recover itself. Soil erosion is one of the most important issues for countries based on agriculture. This review article analyzed articles published on the topic of general soil erosion in Central Asian countries in 1993-2022. More than 50% of the articles reflect the results of the conducted practical work. The main content of these scientific works is aimed at the prevention of erosion processes, their evaluation and the development of countermeasures. During the considered period, the number of publications on soil erosion has increased in the last years compared to the first years, which indicates that the attention to the topic has increased in recent years. The purpose of this article is to get accurate information about the state of soil erosion in the countries of Central Asia and to get acquainted with the practical works carried out against erosion in these countries. For this aim, the contents of the articles were reviewed and the results of the scientific works conducted on the topic of erosion in each country were presented. According to the content of the articles, the use of modern techniques and technologies in the evaluation and prevention of soil erosion gives effective results.

Abstract Ecological assets (EA) are fundamental to the supply of ecological products (EP). They underpin the provision of ecological functions by ecosystems, their existence, and health. However, a comprehensive assessment of EA and the supply of EP remains lacking. This study employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method and identifies 215 relevant articles from the Scopus database. The study: (1) Analyzes selected literature by publication years, research themes, geographical distribution, affiliations, and stages. (2) Summarizes key advances and significant achievements in domestic and international research. (3) Formulates six critical scientific questions and provides recommendations based on the current status and characteristics of EA and the supply of EP in Karst World Heritage (WH) Sites. This study furnishes research insights for practitioners and policymakers in the field, contributing to the sustainable development of ecosystems in Karst WH Sites.

This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of publications in the context of satisfaction in public procurement research, as retrieved from the Scopus database on 8th July 2024. The study includes publications that link aspects of satisfaction and public procurement. Data were analysed using VOSviewer and Harzing’s Publish or Perish software to conduct both performance analysis and science mapping. These are relevant for analysing performance metrics and visualisation of patterns from keyword co-occurrence analysis and bibliographic coupling. The findings reveal limited research publications related to satisfaction in the context of public procurement, with only 54 publications retrieved during the search. The trend shows fluctuations in the number of publications from 1997 to 2024. Key contributors include authors such as Kalinzi, C.; Muhwezi, M.; Munene, J.K.; and Warman, G., and institutions like Universitas Indonesia, alongside global participation from countries like China, Indonesia, and the United States. Keyword analysis highlights themes related to customer satisfaction, public procurement, and e-Government, emphasizing the pursuit of enhanced service quality and efficiency. Bibliographic coupling reveals interconnected research clusters focusing on impact of e-procurement system on satisfaction, influence of technology on performance, and user satisfaction with e-procurement system implementation. This structured analysis underscores diverse global contributions and identifies pathways for future research in the research domains of satisfaction in public procurement undertakings.

Using the bibliometric software VOSviewer® version 1.6.20 and Scopus as a bibliographic database, this paper aims to investigate the research streams in terms of the co-occurrence network of authors, terms extracted from the title field, countries, keywords, and organizations researching on IM from publications between 1974 and 2024. Retrieved from Scopus and using science mapping bibliometric techniques with VOSviewer®, 4756 documents published on IM from 1974 to 2024 were analyzed, divided in three phases (1974–1995, 1996–2019, and 2020–2024), and limited to BMA (Business, Management, and Accounting), EEF (Economics, Econometrics, and Finance), and SOC (Social Sciences). The main findings are as follows: (a) there is a tendency for a minimal relationship between authors from different organizations and countries to collaborate in research on IM; (b) almost half (45.12%) of the publications on IM were published by authors from the European Union, which rises to 55.24% in Europe if the United Kingdom is included. These results are far ahead of those of the United States (13.4%), China (7.6%), the Russian Federation (3.6%), and Japan (2.3%). تعتبر جاهزية الدوريات العلمية الجامعية للإدراج في المؤشرات العالمية أمرًا حيويًا لتعزيز تصنيف الجامعات وسمعتها في المجتمع الأكاديمي العالمي. وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم جودة وجاهزية الدوريات العلمية المحلية الصادرة عن جامعة الإسكندرية للإدراج في ثلاثة مؤشرات عالمية وهي: قاعدة (WoS)، وقاعدة (Scopus)، ودليل (DOAJ). استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي بأسلوبيه المسحي والتحليلي، وتمثلت عينة الدراسة في (15) دورية محلية صادرة عن جامعة الإسكندرية وحاصلة على النقاط النهائية في التقييم المحلي للدوريات المصرية في عام 2022 بنسبة بلغت (41.6%) من مجتمع الدراسة. من أبرز نتائج الدراسة أن حصول الدوريات على النقاط النهائية في التقييم المحلي يُعد مؤشرًا إيجابيًا لاستعدادها للتطوير والارتقاء بجودتها بما يتناسب مع معايير المؤشرات العالمية وليس دليلًا على جاهزيتها للإدراج في هذه المؤشرات. وبرغم أن متوسط الجاهزية الإجمالي للدوريات محل الدراسة إيجابي، حيث بلغت نسبته (75%)، إلا أن الدوريات محل الدراسة أظهرت جاهزية ذات دلالة إحصائية للإدراج في DOAJ بشكل أكبر مقارنةً بالمؤشرين الآخرين. رصدت الدراسة ترابط إيجابي بين الثلاثة مؤشرات بمتوسط قدره (79,13%) بمعدل خطأ p-value أقل من 0.001، مع ذلك تجدر الإشارة إلى انخفاض قوة معامل الارتباط بين مؤشري (WoS) و(DOAJ) حيث ثبت أن مؤشر (WoS) يفرض معايير أكثر صرامة في تقييم جودة الأبحاث وتأثيرها. أثبتت الدراسة أن تخصص الدوريات ولغتها يلعبان دوراً جوهريًا في تحديد جاهزيتها للإدراج في المؤشرات العالمية. وجهت الدراسة توصيات إلى وزارة التعليم العالي وبنك المعرفة المصري لتعزيز الدعم الفني والتقني للدوريات المحلية، كما قدمت توصيات إلى مكتب الدعم الفني لدوريات الجامعة ولهيئات تحرير الدوريات لضرورة استقطاب الباحثين الدوليين وتعزيز مبادئ الوصول المفتوح.

Abstract Extensive scientific investigation is necessary because every government wants to construct smart cities. This is why examining how researchers approach this area of study is critical. This study investigates global research trends in smart cities and the Internet of Things (IoT) by analyzing 14,309 articles from the Scopus database (2010–2024). Using text mining and latent semantic analysis (LSA) via the KNIME tool, the research identifies key areas and trends in smart city development. The k-means clustering algorithm predicts future research directions, highlighting the most active countries, influential authors, and significant sources in the field. The results underscore the need for additional research in sectors where IoT applications for smart cities are still in their early stages. This analysis also offers insights into fostering international collaborations among institutions and researchers. The findings suggest that future research should focus on developing secure, scalable solutions to address challenges across various industries. Overall, this study provides a comprehensive overview of smart city research, offering valuable guidance for researchers and policymakers aiming to advance the integration of IoT technologies into urban environments.

Modern-day agriculture is vital for sustainable production, ensuring a consistent supply of food and fiber for humanity. The data proving its quality is economically significant, encompassing farm conditions, irrigation practices, inventories, contracts, and deals within the agro-food supply sector. To ensure transparent and secure data transfer and storage, a trustworthy interconnected databank is essential for all concerned authorities and contributors. The integration of Internet of Things (IoT) in agriculture with blockchain technology offers an unparalleled solution. This combination serves as a distributed ledger, ensuring transparent and secure management of critical environmental and supply chain data. The IoT-based blockchain infrastructure enhances agricultural sustainability and environmental monitoring. It is anticipated that this technology will become increasingly accurate and effective in addressing persistent challenges in the agro-food sector. This bibliometric analysis reviews and synthesizes relevant literature from the Scopus database, highlighting the growth and trends in IoT and blockchain research applied to precision agriculture. The study reveals a remarkable 47.58% annual growth rate in research within this field, starting with only three published documents in 2019 and peaking at 21 in 2022 and 20 in 2024. Globally, China and India lead in publication output, collectively accounting for 62% of the articles. In terms of citations, India ranks highest with 550 total citations, followed by Italy with 431 citations during 2019–2024. The aim of this bibliometric analysis was to evaluate the evolution of scientific research in hydrogen, focusing on green hydrogen production, storage, and utilization. Articles from prominent databases were analyzed, revealing a strong emphasis on sustainable hydrogen technologies through keywords like "hydrogen production", "green hydrogen", and "solar power generation". Mature research areas include production methods and electrolysis, while emerging topics such as energy efficiency and policy are gaining traction. The most-cited papers, from Energy Conversion and Management to the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, cover techno-economic assessments and case studies on deploying hydrogen technologies. Key findings highlight the variability of the Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH) across technologies and regions. Deep learning applications, including Fast Fourier Transform-based forecasting and explainable AI models, are transforming production optimization, while Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) emphasizes renewable energy's role in reducing carbon intensity and resource consumption. Diverse strategies, such as fiscal incentives for wind energy and use of urban waste, underline the importance of local solutions. Ambrosia beetles of the subfamily Platypodinae are symbiotically associated with fungi, which provide them with food and benefit their establishment and growth. In the present study, our interest centers on the principal genera of Platypodinae: Euplatypus, Megaplatypus and Platypus, the most relevant symbionts being species of Fusarium, Graphium and Raffaelea. The objective of this work is to update the description of fungal associations on those species of interest to the scientific community, ONGs and funding institutions. An exhaustive search was performed to cover all scientific studies from 1900 to 2024 on the co-occurrence or relationship between members of the above-mentioned Platypodinae and fungi. Records of insect and fungal species, host plants and geographic locations were collected. A bibliometric analysis was conducted to characterize the overall status, general trends and current research hotspots of fungi associated with these ambrosia beetles. Eighty percent of the publications retrieved explored the association of Platypus spp. with different fungi. Raffaelea was the fungal genus showing the highest number of records and worldwide distribution. Five countries from four continents currently lead research on these associations. This study aimed to map the international scientific literature on the intersection between ballet and gender and sexuality through a systematic review and bibliometric analysis. The Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) databases were searched. First, the term 'ballet' combined with 'gender' was searched, and then a separate search was conducted using the term 'ballet' combined with 'sexuality.' The main issues detected by researchers concerning women in ballet was that they are not given the same opportunities to develop their creativity and agency as men and are absent from leadership positions. As for men, multiple analyses have been conducted regarding how they break gender barriers when they enter this environment, and the link between ballet and homosexuality is frequently discussed from a social perspective. This can make those who identify as heterosexual feel that they should emphasize their masculine characteristics so as not to be mistaken for homosexuals. We conducted a systematic literature review of 105 landslide susceptibility studies in Italy from 1980 to 2023, retrieved from the Scopus database. We discovered that Italian researchers primarily focus on rainfall-induced landslides (86.67% of the articles), especially shallow and fast movements (60%), with 72% of studies conducted at the local scale, while regional and national-level studies are rare. The most common data sources include remote sensing images validated by field surveys and official data portals at the national or regional level. Data splitting usually follows a 70:30 ratio and 24 modelling techniques were identified, with logistic regression being historically prevalent, although machine learning methods have rapidly gained popularity. Italian studies used 97 predisposing factors, with slope angle (98.09%), lithology (89.52%), land use/land cover (78.09%), and aspect (77.14%) being the most employed. This review also identifies and discusses a few less-used factors, like soil sealing, rainfall, NDVI, and proximity to faults, which showed promising results in experimental studies. Predisposing factors are generally selected by expert judgment, but methods for forward factors selection and collinearity tests are becoming more common. This review synthesizes current knowledge, pinpointing gaps, highlighting emerging methodologies, and suggesting future research directions for better integration of susceptibility studies with landslide risk management. Urolithiasis is the most prevalent benign urological condition, imposing a significant burden on morbidity, disability, and healthcare costs globally. Despite its impact, comprehensive bibliometric analyses of randomized clinical trials (RCTs) related to urolithiasis, which are essential for advancing evidence-based medical practices, are lacking. This study aimed to examine the global research landscape and trends in RCTs focused on urolithiasis. This study used bibliometric techniques to analyze a selection of RCTs on urolithiasis published between 1979 and 2023. VOSviewer software version 1.6.20 was used to visualize international collaborations and perform a keyword analysis of the included articles. The main objective was to identify key research areas and focal points within the field of urolithiasis RCTs. Between 1979 and 2023, a comprehensive search identified 16,716 research articles on urolithiasis. A total of 693 relevant RCTs were found in the Scopus database. The number of publications has significantly increased over time, indicating a strong positive correlation (R² = 0.9303; P < 0.001). China was the top contributor, with 166 publications (23.95%), followed by the United States, with 130 publications (18.76%). Turkey and Iran contributed 44 (6.35%) and 62 (8.95%) publications, respectively. Citation analysis revealed an average of 28.13 citations per article, an h-index of 70, and a total of 19,493 citations. The co-occurrence analysis highlighted current research trends and key topics in urolithiasis RCTs, including 'comparative effectiveness of surgical and laser techniques and patient outcomes', 'medical expulsive therapy (MET) for ureteral calculi and clinical outcomes', 'systematic reviews and meta-analyses of RCTs investigating urolithiasis', and 'dietary interventions and correlations between stone composition and the risk of recurrence.' The bibliometric analysis provides an overview of research on urolithiasis RCTs. It examines global research trends and identifies new developments in the field. Our review identified key research themes, including systematic reviews and meta-analyses, dietary interventions, medical therapy for the expulsion of ureteral stones, and comparisons of surgical techniques—areas that will remain focal points in future research. Laser lithotripsy is gaining global prominence and is a dynamically progressing field marked by a continual influx of new and comprehensive research each year. Recently, there has been a noticeable shift toward the adoption of various kinds of lasers, such as holmium: yttrium–aluminum-garnet (Ho:YAG) and thulium fiber (TFL) lasers. Consequently, we aim to conduct a bibliometric analysis to analyze key areas of research activity within scientific publications that center on the utilization of laser techniques in urolithiasis. A search of the literature spanning from 1978 to 2022 was carried out on 25 December 2023 using the Scopus database to explore research related to the application of laser techniques for urolithiasis treatment. Visualization analysis was performed using VOSviewer software (version 1.6.20). We examined 962 publications that met the specified criteria, 791 (82.22%) of which were original articles. The analysis of the retrieved publications indicated a consistent increase in research output from 1978 to 2022; a particularly noteworthy surge occurred after 2003. In particular, the U.S. claimed the leading position as the most productive country, contributing 211 articles (21.93%). However, India had the highest research productivity according to the adjustment index of 19.08. In the European region, 324 publications (33.68% of the total) originated from 25 countries. The Journal of Endourology contributed the most between 1978 and 2022 (n = 96, 9.98%). The most cited paper examined the effectiveness of holmium: yttrium–aluminum-garnet (Ho:YAG) lasers, while a subsequent study focused on the use of a thulium fiber laser (TFL), an emerging laser technology that has gained increased recognition. Co-occurrence analysis revealed three distinct clusters focusing on the types of laser technology, minimally invasive approaches, and success rate/postoperative complications. This comprehensive investigation delves into the global landscape of laser use for the treatment of urolithiasis. This review supports the emerging clinical concept of using various types of laser technology for urolithiasis treatment. Moreover, the hot issues that researchers should focus on based on the findings of this study are the use of different types of laser lithotripsy in view of the surgical approach, success rate and complications. With the potential to bring about considerable economic, social, and environmental advantages, forest tourism has emerged as a crucial industry for sustainable development in Southeast Asia. However, one of the biggest challenges is figuring out how to balance the consumption of natural resources with their conservation. As a result, this study uses bibliometric analysis to shed light on Southeast Asian forest tourism research. The Bibliometric R program was used in this study to assess a total of 174 articles that were chosen from the Scopus database using search criteria that included keywords such as forest, forestry, tourism, and touristry, limited to English-language journal articles from South Asian countries. The findings revealed that the key areas of focus in the analyzed studies centered on conservation and ecotourism. This bibliometric analysis also reveals periodic growth in forest tourism research, likely driven by increasing global and regional awareness of sustainable development goals, the economic potential of ecotourism, and the need to balance conservation with tourism activities. Additionally, the consistent pattern of author and institutional collaboration may be attributed to the interdisciplinary nature of forest tourism research, which often requires expertise from fields such as environmental science, sociology, and economics, fostering partnerships across institutions. The association between R&D expenditures and economic growth has long been investigated in the economics literature due to its explicit importance for economic and social development of an economy. This study aims to develop theoretical direction in this area of research through extended approach in bibliometric analysis of existing scientific knowledge and to identify the future prospects for authors. The analysis was carried out by using a typology of information dissemination, the geographical distribution of documents, social networking of authors, and the thematic area of publications identifying the trends and contributions on the basis of available data. The findings of productivity analysis, citation burst, keywords, and contents analysis using R studio and VOSviewer indicated that the connection between R&D expenditures and economic growth is strong and getting stronger among developed economies by counting contemporary factors like innovation and modernization. Background: The rise of artificial intelligence in healthcare, particularly the development of large language models like ChatGPT, has opened new avenues for innovation in medical fields, including plastic surgery. ChatGPT offers potential applications in patient education, surgical planning, and decision-making support, making it an important research subject. However, there has been limited investigation into its impact on plastic surgery. The objective of this study was to investigate the progress of research on ChatGPT and plastic surgery, focusing on key contributors and emerging topics within the field. Methods: Five distinct search strategies were employed to analyze relevant publications from the Scopus database. Results: The analysis identified and presented the top authors, universities, countries, sponsors, and journals (within each search strategy). The co-authorship networks of authors, universities, and countries are graphically presented. The authors’ performance was depicted by various indicators, such as total publications, citations, hindex, g-index, and m-index. A co-word analysis revealed the focus of the papers, which were presented in 15 groups. This multifaceted approach provides a detailed understanding of key themes in the field. Using the bibliometric software VOSviewer® version 1.6.20 and Scopus as a bibliographic database, this paper aims to investigate the research streams in terms of the co-occurrence network of authors, terms extracted from the title field, countries, keywords, and organizations researching on IM from publications between 1974 and 2024. Retrieved from Scopus and using science mapping bibliometric techniques with VOSviewer®, 4756 documents published on IM from 1974 to 2024 were analyzed, divided in three phases (1974–1995, 1996–2019, and 2020–2024), and limited to BMA (Business, Management, and Accounting), EEF (Economics, Econometrics, and Finance), and SOC (Social Sciences). The main findings are as follows: (a) there is a tendency for a minimal relationship between authors from different organizations and countries to collaborate in research on IM; (b) almost half (45.12%) of the publications on IM were published by authors from the European Union, which rises to 55.24% in Europe if the United Kingdom is included. These results are far ahead of those of the United States (13.4%), China (7.6%), the Russian Federation (3.6%), and Japan (2.3%). The objective of this study was to explore the trends in the publication and production of open access (OA) and non-OA journals and articles over the last decade. Non-OA journals include subscription and hybrid journals, the articles of which cannot be freely accessed by researchers. To conduct this study, we used SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) data from 2011 to 2021. In analyzing the SJR data, we categorized publishers by the number of journals and articles published. The results showed the following: (a) although the number of OA journals has increased rapidly between 2011 and 2021, their share of total publications is still significantly lower than that of non-OA journals; (b) between 2011 and 2021, the number of publishers of non-OA journals had decreased slightly, while the number of OA journal publishers has increased rapidly; (c) publishers of all sizes increased the production of OA journal articles between 2011 and 2021, but the share of top publishers increased the most; and (d) MDPI, as a born-OA publisher, has become a global leader in OA journal article publishing in recent years. Digital wallets have become a driving force in the global economy, with 2.4 billion users worldwide in 2020, a figure projected to reach 3.6 billion by 2026. This study conducts an in-depth bibliometric analysis to evaluate the current state and future trends of digital wallet research using scientific databases such as Scopus and Web of Science. A scoping review methodology was applied, in which we analyzed 778 documents, following an eligibility process with the following search terms: "digital wallet", "mobile wallet", and "e-wallet". Results show that India, the United States, and China are leading research efforts in this field. Key factors influencing the adoption of digital wallets include data security, ease of use, and integration with traditional payment systems. While much research has focused on technological innovation and adoption, significant gaps remain in areas such as blockchain integration and AI-driven solutions. This study employs bibliometric analysis to systematically explore the Visual Basic (VB) education research landscape, identifying significant trends, influential authors, and future research directions. Utilizing data from Scopus-indexed journals, we examined 529 papers published between 1994 and October 2023, identified through the keywords "visual basic," "visualbasic," "teaching," and "learning." These papers were analyzed using Biblioshiny to generate a bibliometric map, following four steps: data harvesting, data screening, data visualization, and data analysis. Our research reveals critical VB programming trends from 1994 to 2023, with academic output peaking in 2010 and declining since 2007. Ongoing interest is noted due to legacy system applications. Global publication reach facilitates cross-border information exchange, and top affiliations and authors underscore extensive and influential participation in this field. The research emphasizes incorporating fundamental and advanced themes in educational curricula. It suggests future research focusing on new programming paradigms, longitudinal studies, and VB relevance to technological advancements and industrial needs. This study aims to provide an analysis of research trends on financial sustainability for sustainable development, with a particular focus on identifying global trends in the relevant literature. The study used bibliometric methodology to map and analyze the scientific literature on financial sustainability. Extensive bibliographic data was extracted from the Scopus database and 4,836 documents from 2014-2024 were identified. The data was analyzed using the Scopus publication analyzer feature and publication metadata was further mapped using VOSviewer and thesaurus to identify the patterns. The results of the study conclude that the most significant contributors in the field of financial sustainability were Buallay, A. from the authorship with 13 publications, Universiti Teknologi MARA from the institution criteria with 42 publications, and United State by country (560 publications). Moreover, the results revealed a growing trend for financial sustainability research showing an increased interest in the topic and positive growth over the past decade. The analysis identified several key research themes, including sustainability, sustainable development, financial performance, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability reporting. The findings highlight important areas for future research, such as further investigating topics that have the potential to be linked to financial sustainability such as transparency, cost, risk management. Mathematical Methods of Operations Research is a scholarly journal that publishes high-quality contributions related to mathematics, statistics, and computer science, focusing specifically on operations research. It was established in 1956 and reached Volume 100 in 2024. To mark this significant milestone, this study aims to identify and elucidate the main patterns in the journal's publication and citation structure, highly cited documents, prolific authors, universities and countries, and popular keywords and topics. To achieve this, the paper collects all publications from 1956 to 2023 from the Scopus database, and Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection from 1997 to 2023. Their bibliographic information is analysed using various bibliometric indicators. Additionally, the study creates a visual representation of the bibliographic data using the Visualization of Similarities (VOS) viewer software. This approach encompasses different bibliometric techniques, such as bibliographic coupling, co-citation, and co-occurrence of keywords. The findings reveal a significant growth in the journal over the past few years and its international impact with contributions from various parts of the world. The purpose of this article is to understand the evolution of organizational change in relation to digital transformation. This bibliometric analysis aimed to examine the trends, patterns, and significant contributions to the understanding of the one-handed backhand drive biomechanics in tennis from 2000 to 2024. Materials and methods. Using the Web of Science and Scopus databases, a systematic review of academic literature was conducted, including articles, conference papers, and reviews. The study examined publishing trends, geographical distribution, authorship, citations, and thematic content. Results. The analysis revealed a steady increase in publications, reaching a peak between 2015 and 2020. Research articles were the most common document type, followed by reviews and conference papers. The United States and Australia were the leading contributors, with a strong culture of international collaboration evident. Keywords such as "biomechanics", "tennis", "backhand," and "performance" were central to the research. The Journal of Sports Biomechanics was a prominent publication venue, with several highly cited documents. Conclusions. The bibliometric analysis demonstrated significant scientific progress in understanding the biomechanical principles of the one-handed backhand drive in tennis. It highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and global partnerships in advancing sports biomechanics research. This study aimed to measure the consistency of the impact of scientific production, weighted by authorship, of Italian scientists in two academic disciplines (AD) of Exercise and Sports Sciences (ESS) from 2017 to 2022, with a specific focus on the subfield "Sport Sciences", using topic-specific keywords. Through the Scopus database, the scientific products of Italian ESS scientists associated with each keyword were identified. Subsequently, total and relative metric parameters from 2017 to 2022 were collected, including the total and relative number of citations. To evaluate the impact of the publications, the total and relative h -index were calculated, and weighted by considering different categories of authorship. Specific weights were attributed to each category: single author, first author, last author and co-author, following the classifications already in use on Scopus for each author. The trends of total and relative metrics, including citations and h -index, from 2017 to 2022 were analyzed using Spearman's correlation. Non-parametric linear regression analysis was used for the predictive analysis of these trends. Among the 83 identified ESS scientists, a detailed analysis revealed that 31.3% were full professors, 42.1% associate professors, and 26.6% researchers. Less than half of these scientists were directly affiliated with ESS. Despite minority representation, significant positive correlations emerge between total and relative citations from 2017 to 2022 (r = 0.687) and between the weighted total h -index and the weighted relative h -index (r = 0.965). Significant trends emerge in the metric parameters of the same scientists when analyzed separately by AD. The regression results indicate that variations in total citations and the weighted total and relative h -index can predict or explain the observed changes in 2017–2022 (p < 0.05). This result suggests that the production and impact of research in the field of ESS follow the same general trend as production and impact in the specific subfield. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
