Improper end‐of‐life treatments of C−O‐linked plastics have caused serious environmental crises and resource waste. One effective method to solve this issue is the catalytic alcoholysis of these plastics. Traditional homogeneous catalysts or metal‐based heterogeneous catalysts for alcoholysis have some drawbacks, such as difficulty in complete separation, environmental threats, and economic burden. Thus, finding a green, low‐cost, recyclable, and highly efficient catalyst substitute is critical. Here, we reported that polymeric carbon nitride nanosheets can serve as a metal‐free heterogeneous catalyst for the methanolysis of polycarbonate, polyethylene terephthalate, and polylactic acid. The catalyst exhibits remarkable performance and could be reused at least four times. NHx was found to be the predominant active site of the catalyst by characterization and experiments. Simple Summary: The cassava mealybug (Phenacoccus manihoti) represents a significant quarantine pest affecting cassavas. This study seeks to elucidate the patterns of the suitable habitat and distribution centers of cassava mealybugs in China, as well as their dynamic ecological niche in invaded areas under the influence of climate change. Climate factors have primarily concentrated suitable habitats for cassava mealybugs in the southern regions of China, with minimal observed changes and a slight northward expansion. The dynamic ecological niche is also projected to expand slightly. Based on these predictions, relevant quarantine agencies can implement measures to prevent the introduction and spread of cassava mealybugs. The changing global climate has significantly impacted the spread of plant pests. The cassava mealybug (Phenacoccus manihoti) is among the most dangerous quarantine pests affecting cassavas worldwide, causing substantial losses in agricultural production and food security across several regions. Although China is currently free of the cassava mealybug, its proximity to affected countries and extensive trade with these regions necessitate a detailed understanding of the pest's distribution pattern and dynamic ecological niche changes. Using the Biomod2 model, we selected two historical climate scenarios and two future climate scenarios (SSP1-2.6 and SSP5-8.5) to investigate the distribution patterns, potential habitats, distribution centers, and dynamic ecological niches of cassava mealybugs in China. Key environmental variables influencing the distribution were identified, including bio4, bio8, bio12, bio18, and bio19. The potential habitat of cassava mealybugs is mainly located in several provinces in southern China. In the future, the suitable habitat is projected to expand slightly under the influence of climate change, maintaining the overall trend, but the distribution center of suitable areas will shift northward. Dynamic ecological niche prediction results indicate the potential for further expansion; however, the ecological niches may be unequal and dissimilar in the invaded areas. A novel Fe–RGO/TiO2/PTFE photocatalytic composite membrane was developed for the purification of MB wastewater. The properties of the prepared membranes were characterized using XRD, SEM, FT-IR spectroscopy, the BET method, and water contact angle, membrane flux, and BSA adsorption measurements. The photocatalytic properties of the surface-modified membranes were investigated in filtration experiments using MB as a representative organic contaminant. The results of the experiments showed that the Fe–RGO/TiO2 particles were securely loaded onto the surface of the PTFE membrane, demonstrating excellent chemical stability of the composite membrane. The incorporation of Fe3+ inhibited the agglomeration of TiO2 particles and enhanced the photocatalytic reaction rate. The introduction of RGO could broaden the photoresponsive range of TiO2, increase the specific surface area of the photocatalyst, introduce a large number of hydrophilic groups to enhance the hydrophilicity of the composite membrane, and subsequently increase the membrane flux. The MB wastewater was treated with the Fe–RGO/TiO2/PTFE composite membrane system for 3 h and the removal rate of MB reached 95.8% and 60.1% under UV and visible light, respectively. Reaction kinetic analysis indicated that the removal process of MB wastewater by Fe–RGO/TiO2/PTFE involves an adsorption–degradation–filtration synergy mechanism. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (p-NENs) are relatively rare and highly heterogeneous. Dyslipidemia may be related to the risk of developing p-NENs, although dyslipidemia in patients with p-NENs is rarely reported. In this study, the clinical characteristics of p-NENs patients with different lipid levels and their prognostic value in p-NENs patients were evaluated. Methods Patients (n=211) with p-NENs hospitalized at Jiangsu Neuroendocrine Tumor Centre of Jiangsu Province Hospital from December 2018 to December 2022 were enrolled. Clinical data related to p-NENs were collected. Based on the EGA database, the related lipoprotein, low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR) and high-density lipoprotein binding protein (HDLBP) mRNA in p-NENs and paratumoral tissues and the follow-up information of p-NENs were evaluated. Results A total of 175 p-NENs patients ultimately met the inclusion criteria. The ki67 index was higher in p-NENs patients with elevated lipid with the proportion of≥5, and in those with AJCC stage III and stage IV than p-NENs patients with low-level lipid. In p-NENs patients, the expression of HDLBP mRNA was downregulated in p-NENs tissues compared to the paratumoral tissues. Survival analysis showed that serum lipids had no effect on the prognosis of p-NENs; however, high LDLR level p-NENs were at the risk of poor survival. Conclusion Serum lipid level in p-NENs can affect the grading and staging, but the correlation with the prognosis of p-NENs is not significant. However, dyslipidemia may be a potential predictor of p-NENs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
