Due to increasingly stringent environmental regulations imposed by governments throughout the world, the manufacture of low-sulfur fuels has received considerable assiduity in the petroleum industry. In this investigation, mesoporous V2O5-decorated two-dimensional ZnO nanocrystals were manufactured using a simple surfactant-assisted sol–gel method for thiophene photocatalytic oxidative desulfurization (TPOD) at ambient temperature applying visible illumination. When correlated to pure ZnO NCs, V2O5-added ZnO nanocomposites dramatically improved the photocatalytic desulfurization of thiophene, and the reaction was shown to follow the pseudo-first-order model. The photocatalytic effectiveness of the 3.0 wt.% V2O5-ZnO photocatalyst was the greatest among all the other samples, with a rate constant of 0.0166 min−1, which was 30.7 significantly greater than that of pure ZnO NCs (0.00054 min−1). Compared with ZnO NCs, and owing to their synergetic effects, substantial creation of hydroxyl radical levels, lesser light scattering action, quick transport of thiophene species to the active recenters, and efficient visible-light gathering, V2O5-ZnO nanocomposites were found to have enhanced photocatalytic efficiency. V2O5-ZnO nanocomposites demonstrated outstanding stability during TPOD. Using mesoporous V2O5-ZnO nanocomposites, the mechanism of the charge separation process was postulated. Composites of NbC/ZrO2 reinforced with different weight ratios of Cr metal were prepared by dynamic compaction combustion from a blend of Nb2O5–Zr–Cr powders. Factors controlling the synthesis process, the microstructure, and the mechanical properties of the samples, such as Cr wt% and the compression loads were studied. The samples were characterized by XRD, SEM, porosity, and hardness measurements. The porosity value of the sample with no additives was high and reached 31.6 vol%. A sudden decrease in the sample porosity to 2.4 vol % was noticed for the sample containing 3.0 wt% of Cr. A high‐density sample with less than 2.0 vol % porosity and maximum hardness of 1038 HV was produced using 5.0 wt% Cr under 300 MPa compression load. Summary: The high electrochemical stability of Zirconia (ZrO2) at high potentials strongly suggested it as an alternative to carbon supports, which experience reduced efficiency due to some corrosion problems particularly during prolonged electrocatalysis activity. However, the use of ZrO2 was limited by its low electrical conductivity and surface area. In this work, we developed a methodology for synthesizing monoclinic ZrO2 NPs with increased surface area and improved electrical/electrocatalytic characteristics without using any carbon‐based co‐support material or any metallic nanoparticles. In this context, for the first time, highly defective hydroxyl‐functionalized ZrO2 NPs (designated here as ZT NPs) were prepared by a hydrothermal route in the presence of sodium tartrate as a mineralizer. XRD analysis demonstrated that the produced zirconia was semicrystalline microspheres, consisting of monoclinic ZrO2 NPs with high lattice defects. The addition of tartrate ions decreased the crystallite size and increased the defects and microstrain. At the same time, the alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) catalytic activity of ZrO2 NPs was significantly increased when using sodium tartrate as mineralizer; the overpotential required to obtain 10 mA cm−2 (η10) dropped down from 490 to merely 235 mV, while an exchange current density (jo) increased 12 times to 0.22 mA cm−2. The presence of structural defects (revealed by XRD) and the increased number of active surface sites contending O‐H groups (evidenced from ATR‐FTIR and XPS) as well as the enhanced electrochemical active surface area (confirmed from double‐layer capacitance measurements) were the main reasons behind the high catalytic performance. The ZrO2 NPs catalytic activity increased even further during the long‐term stability tests under severe cathodic conditions (ZT*, ZrO2 NPs obtained after the long‐term stability, has jo = 0.47 mA cm−2 and η10 = 140 mV), approaching the activity of Pt/C catalyst. This process was assisted by mineralizer removal from the catalyst (testified by XPS). Our studies revealed that ZT* are characterized by larger electroactive surface area and more structure defects compared to ZT, where surface area and microstrains resulting from surface hydroxylation open cavities in zirconia structure. Latar Belakang: Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 (DM Tipe 2) adalah suatu kelompok penyakit metabolik yang terjadi karena kelainan kerja insulin, sekresi insulin atau kedua-duanya dengan karakteristik hiperglikemia. Peningkatan kadar glukosa darah puasa (GDP) dan D-dimer dapat ditemukan dalam perjalanan penyakit DM Tipe 2. Objektif: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar GDP dan D-dimer pada pasien DM tipe 2 terkontrol. Metode: Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional menggunakan data sekunder pasien DM tipe 2 yang dilakukan pemeriksaan kadar GDP dan D-dimer. Sampel penelitian ini adalah pasien DM tipe 2 dengan HbA1c terkontrol (≤ 6.5 %) di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Prof. Dr. M Ali Hanafiah Batusangkar, Kabupaten Tanah Datar sebanyak 20 pasien. Waktu penelitian bulan November 2020 – April 2021. Analisis univariat dengan distribusi, persentase dan frekuensi dari masing-masing variabel yang disajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Hasil: Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kejadian DM tipe 2 banyak terjadi pada perempuan (60%) dan berdasarkan umur pada rentang umur 46 – 55 tahun (35%). Rerata untuk kadar GDP pasien DM Tipe 2 terkontrol sebesar 118.60±33.014 mg/dL dengan 14 pasien mengalami peningkatan. Rerata untuk kadar D-dimer sebesar 432±205.348 ug/dL dengan 9 pasien mengalami peningkatan. Kesimpulan: Pada pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 terkontrol didapatkan rerata kadar GDP meningkat dan kadar D-dimer dalam batas normal.

Pandemi Covid 19 mendorong untuk merubah sistem pelayanan surat di STT-NF yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual menjadi secara online. Prosedur pengajuan surat secara manual dilakukan dengan proses pengisian form fisik oleh Mahasiswa. Form pengajuan yang sudah diisi harus diserahkan dengan mendatangi ruangan bagian terkait secara langsung. STT-NF sendiri memiliki jenis pengajuan surat yang beragam. Surat-surat tersebut memiliki penanggungjawab yang berbeda, antara lain Bagian BAAK, UPT Perpustakaan, Bagian Keuangan dan Bagian Kemahasiswaan. Dalam proses pengajuan surat mahasiswa tidak mendapatkan akses informasi yang berkaitan dengan prosedur dan status pengajuan surat. Hal ini dikarenakan SDM administrasi yang kurang serta sistem yang kurang mendukung proses pengajuan surat. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sebuah sistem yang bisa mendukung proses pengajuan surat. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan akses layanan administrasi mahasiswa. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun sebuah sistem pengajuan surat administrasi mahasiswa berbasis GSuite. GSuite yang digunakan adalah Google Forms, Google Spreadsheet, Add-on Form Publisher dan Google Sites. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 metode pengujian, yaitu Blackbox dan User Acceptance Test (UAT). Hasil dari pengujian blackbox menyatakan bahwa 27 Fitur yang diujikan dinyatakan berhasil. Responden pengujian Blackbox adalah satu mahasiswa dan empat orang admin. Selanjutnya hasil pengujian UAT menyatakan bahwa rata-rata nilai sebesar 89,85% yang artinya sistem pengajuan surat berbasis GSuite bisa diterima dan sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna.

Fossil fuels are the major source of energy in the world, which are being depleted day by day. Fossil fuels are also polluting the environment by releasing greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide. To overcome environmental pollution as well as energy crisis, exploration of new ways of storing energy is the need of the time. In the presented work, reduced graphene oxide/Strontium selenate nanocomposite has been synthesized as an electrode material for energy storage devices. The structure of rGO/ SrSeO4 nanocomposite was confirmed by x-ray diffraction while the morphology was investigated by scanning electron microscopy. The electrochemical measurements, such as cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic charge/discharge, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and cyclic stability, were also carried out. The synthesized nanocomposite showed excellent specific power of 684.16 W/kg with 3.67 Wh/kg specific energy, which is significantly much better than already reported metal selenide materials.

Handling of nutritional problems of children under five can be done through the development of food products in the form of Moringa leaf flour cookies and Moringa seed flour cookies given to toddlers, and then assessed an increase in body weight and nutritional status. The purpose of the study was to look at differences in body weight and nutritional status after intervention from Moringa leaf flour cookies and Moringa seed flour cookies in toddlers. The study design uses a Randomized Controlled Trial Single Blind Pre-post Study. The study was conducted in the working area of the Tampa Padang Public Health Center in August-October 2019 on children aged 3-5 years. The number of samples was 50 people, 25 children have interfered with Moringa leaf flour cookies, and 25 children were intervened by Moringa seed flour. Analysis of nutrient consumption of toddler foods using the Nutri Survey program. Maternal nutrition consumption is expressed in percent of RDA. Statistical analysis using the T-test. The results showed changes in body weight before and after giving Moringa seed cookies and Moringa leaf cookies (p=0,025). There is a difference in the increase in weight of the two groups of samples, but statistically has not been able to improve the nutritional status, both those who were given Moringa seed flour substitute cookies and those who were given Moringa leaf flour substitution cookies (p=0,495). In conclusion, there is a change in toddler's body weight, but it is not yet significant to the nutritional status of toddlers. Penanganan masalah gizi anak balita dapat dilakukan melalui pengembangan produk pangan berupa cookies tepung daun kelor dan cookies tepung biji kelor yang diberikan kepada balita, selanjutnya dinilai peningkatan Berat Badan dan Status gizinya. Tujuan penelitian yaitu melihat perbedaan berat badan dan status gizi setelah diintervensi cookies tepung daun kelor dan cookies tepung biji kelor pada anak balita. Desain penelitian menggunakan Randomized Controlled Trial Single Blind Pre-post Study. Penelitian dilakukan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tampa Padang Kecamatan Kaluku, Kabupaten Mamuju Sulawesi Barat. Waktu penelitian dimulai pada bulan Agustus – Oktober 2019 terhadap anak balita berumur 3-5 tahun. Jumlah sampel 50 orang, 25 anak diintervensi cookies tepung daun kelor dan 25 anak diintervensi tepung biji kelor. Analisis zat gizi konsumsi pangan anak balita menggunakan program Nutri Survei. Konsumsi gizi ibu dinyatakan dalam persen AKG. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perubahan berat badan sebelum dan setelah pemberian cookies biji kelor dan cookies daun kelor dengan nilai p=0,025 (p-value0,05). Kesimpulan, terdapat perubahan berat badan balita namun belum signifikan terhadap status gizi balita yang mendapatkan cookies berbahan daun kelor.
