Acupoint catgut embedding is a useful therapy for weight management and widely applied in China. This review aimed to systematically evaluate the effects of acupoint catgut embedding on abdominal obesity. We searched the PubMed, Cochrane-Library, Embase, OVID, MEDLINE, ISI (web of science), Wanfang, VIP, CBM, and CNKI for randomized controlled trials that used acupoint catgut embedding to treat abdominal obesity before April 2019 with the language restriction of Chinese and English. The combination subject terms of abdominal obesity (or central obesity) and acupoint catgut embedding (or catgut implantation, catgut embedding) were used. We found 15 studies involving 1584 individuals. When acupoint catgut embedding plus electroacupuncture is compared with electroacupuncture alone, significant reductions in improvement rate (RR = 1.03, 95% CI = 0.99~1.08), body weight (MD = 5.20, 95%CI = 1.16~9.25), body mass index (MD = 1.73, 95%CI = 0.70~2.76), waist circumference (MD = 2.91, 95%CI = 1.36~4.46), and hip circumference (MD = 1.06, 95%CI = -0.18~2.30) were found. Mean values of body weight by acupoint catgut embedding were 1.35 kg compared with electroacupuncture. Less adverse events were reported in all included articles. In summary, pooled outcomes of acupoint catgut embedding presented a tendency of equal effects to other kinds of acupuncture, whereas acupoint catgut embedding plus electroacupuncture is more effective for abdominal obesity. Increasing seed weight and oil content are the main pathways to increase canola seed oil yield. The effect of branch position on seed weight and oil content has not been previously reported in canola. Field experiments were conducted to explore the impact of branch position on seed weight and oil content. Four canola genotypes, Zheyou 50, Zhongshuang 11, Zheyou 18, and Zheshuang 8, were used to evaluate seed weight, oil content, carbohydrate profile, and nitrogen content in the main inflorescence and branches from the top to the bottom of the main stem. Seed weight and oil content decreased from the main inflorescence to the lower branches in the four genotypes. Lower carbohydrate and nitrogen content in the seed and low transport efficiency of the two chemical compounds in the silique and branches were responsible for the lower seed weight and oil content in Zheshuang 8 and Zheyou 18, respectively. However, the decreasing seed weight and oil content in the branches did not correspond with decreasing carbohydrate and nitrogen content in the branches from the top to the bottom. Coal rock creep is an inevitable phenomenon in coal mining, fluid seepage is involved in coal rock creep in coal mine, and coal rock creep and fluid flow interact. To determine the coal rock creep–seepage law, in this paper, CSCG-160-type gravity hydraulic constant load creep seepage test system developed by China University of Mining & Technology (Beijing) is used to carry out creep seepage test with step loaded axle load in certain condition of confining pressure for raw coal rock sample; in the test, coal rock-related deformation (axial strain, volumetric strain) in the creep process is measured and seepage is recorded. By analysis of the test result, the creep deformation – seepage law during coal rock creep seepage is obtained. The study result of very important practical guiding significance for dynamic disaster and water damage prevention and control of gas in coal mine.

Purpose To identify the disease-causing gene in a four-generation Chinese family affected with autosomal dominant aniridia and cataract. Methods All patients underwent full ophthalmic examination. For mutation analysis, a partial coding region (exons 5–14) of paired box gene 6 (PAX6) was sequenced with DNA from the proband. Single-strand conformation polymorphism analysis for exon 5 of PAX6 was performed to demonstrate co-segregation of the PAX6 mutation with aniridia in all family members and the absence of the mutation in the normal controls. Results The proband and other patients in the family were affected with aniridia accompanied with congenital cataract. A novel heterozygous PAX6 mutation in exon 5 (c.475_491del17, p.Arg38ProfsX12) was identified, which was predicted to generate a frameshift and create a premature termination codon. This mutation co-segregated with the affected individuals in the family and did not exist in unaffected family members and 100 unrelated normal controls. Conclusions A novel deletion mutation in the PAX6 gene was identified in a Chinese family with aniridia and congenital cataract. Our study expands the mutation spectrum of PAX6.

A novel dual-linearly-polarized microstrip antenna array with series-feeding configuration is presented. Dual-linear polarization is excited by upper side-feeding and lower aperture-coupled feeding. Meanwhile, the series-feeding configuration is realized by a composite right/left-handed transmission line. Coal spontaneous combustion is the main disaster of coal mine, furthermore most of them happen in the goaf. Distribution of "three zones" of spontaneous combustion reflects the state of oxidation temperature increasing in goaf, which is the base of spontaneous combustion prevention and control in goaf. This paper analyzed critical value of the "threezones" partition methods in goaf which are based on air leakage velocity and oxygen concentration, propose a new method of combining these two indexes. The authors simulate and calculate the distribution the velocity of air leakage and oxygen concentration in goaf of 2108 fully mechanized caving face of gucheng coal mine in Shandong by used the established model of spontaneous combustion in goaf under the moving coordinates, partition the "three zones". The results provide a theoretical basis for prediction and prevention of spontaneous combustion in goaf.

It has been observed that finite element based solutions of full-wave Maxwell's equations break down at low frequencies. In this paper, we present a theoretically rigorous method to fundamentally eliminate the low-frequency breakdown problem. The key idea of this method is that the original frequency-dependent deterministic problem can be rigorously solved from a generalized eigenvalue problem that is frequency independent. In addition, we found that the zero eigenvalues of the generalized eigenvalue problem cannot be obtained as zeros because of finite machine precision. We hence correct the inexact zero eigenvalues to be exact zeros. The validity and accuracy of the proposed method have been demonstrated by the analysis of both lossless and lossy problems having on-chip circuit dimensions from DC to high frequencies. The proposed method is applicable to any frequency. Hence it constitutes a unified solution of Maxwell's equations in a full electromagnetic spectrum. The proposed method can be used to not only fundamentally eliminate the low-frequency breakdown problem, but also benchmark the accuracy of existing electromagnetic solvers at low frequencies including static solvers. Such a benchmark does not exist yet because full-wave solvers break down while static solvers involve theoretical approximations.

Based on the structure of left-handed transmission line (LH-TL), a novel phase shifter with higher power capacity is designed here. In the present structure, switches of phase shifters are mounted on fingers of LH-TLs, so the electric current through a single switch is only a fraction of that through the whole phase shifter. As a result, the power capacity of present phase shifter can be greatly improved. Changing the state of fingers of LH-TLs by controlling the switches, different phase shifts can be achieved. Besides its higher power capacity, present phase shifter possesses other advantages such as low cost, small size and easy fabrication. Finally, phase shifters of 11.25deg, 22.5deg and 45deg have been designed as examples.

In this paper, the method of design microwave filters with left-handed transmission line and highpass prototype filter is developed. The design of a narrow-band pass-band filter has been given as an example. Compared with traditional bandpass filters, present filter has shown its compactness while keeping the same performance, which also proves the validity of present method.

To compare the diagnostic value of soluble intercellular adhesion molecule 1 (sICAM-1) with that of c-reactive protein (CRP) for detecting chorioamnionitis (CAM) in serum of women with premature rupture of membranes (PROM), 55 pregnant women with PROM, including 18 pregnant women with preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM) and 20 normal pregnant women at term (TPROM) were studied. Maternal serum were measured by Sandwish enzyme-linked immunoabsorbent assay (ELISA) for sICAM. CAM was histologically confirmed after delivery. The results revealed that (1) maternal serum levels of sICAM-1 and CRP were significantly higher in women with PROM than those without it; (2) maternal serum levels of sICAM-1 and CRP were significantly higher in women with CAM than those without it; (3) serum levels of sICAM-1 in PPROM women were similar to those in TPROM women, whereas serum levels of CRP in PPROM women were significantly higher than those in TPROM women; (4) the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, Kappa index and area under receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve of maternal serum sICAM-1 (cutoff 104.7 ng/ml) and CRP (cutoff 1.03 mg/dl) for diagnosing CAM were 100%, 91.2%, 87.5%, 100%, 0.20, 0.995 and 81.0%, 73.5%, 65.4%, 86.2%, 0.13, 0.811, respectively; (5) among the mild histological CAM group, severe histological CAM group and clinical CAM group, the difference in maternal serum levels of sICAM-1 were significantly (P
