Resumo: O artigo objetiva apresentar a qualidade transubstanciativa do processo de datificação a partir da descrição das interações relacionadas em um ecossistema conectado. A partir da análise da qualidade das interações do ecossistema conectado Array of things (AoT), aqui chamado de “infoecologia”, investigou-se as dimensões conectivas e interdependentes destas complexas redes de relações que se desenvolvem através do processo de datificação, constituindo um novo tipo de comum não apenas delimitado aos humanos. A partir da análise dessas interações informatizadas, o artigo apresenta algumas interpretações sobre essas novas formas de conexões. This article aims to describe changes in the routine of people with disabilities in face of Covid19 pandemic and the ongoing coping measures underway in the state of Alagoas, in northeast Brazil. Data from in-depth interviews with subjects marked by different experiences of visual, hearing, motor and intellectual impairment are analyzed here. Participants are part of an extension project, started in 2019, under the responsibility of the first author of this article. The project changed the routine of the university in face of the presence, circulation and engagement of bodies and minds that escape the conventions of normality in the academic space. The interactions, mediated by a series of applications of digital communication, addressed the following issues: 1) the loss of individual and/or family income resulting from the pandemic, and its impact on their material conditions of existence; 2) the emergence of new demands related to physical and mental health as well as changes in previous therapeutic strategies; 3) the characterization of access to communication technologies, the new possibilities and restrictions for maintaining extra-family bonds, such as contact with friends, participation in social mobilizations and in academic activities. In the analysis, we focused on the mutual dynamics of care, especially the engagement in support and assistance practices from family and friends. The attention to changes in the environment from the different collective demands in face of the pandemic exposes some displacements in the ways of embodying disability as well as the ability to give powerful responses to complex demands for adaptation. The intersection between different social markers of difference, like race, gender and class is also central to the identification of continuities, which involve the pre-existence of physical distance as a reality of disability.

Using Maurice Merleau-Ponty's concept of "motricity" and Alva Noë's concept of "organization," this paper offers a phenomenological and enactive approach to tabletop roleplaying games (ttrpgs) as a form of poiesis, making---both auto-poetic, as defined by Humberto Maturana and Francisco Varela, and sym-poietic, as defined by Donna Haraway. This self-making and making-with is not understood in the sense of either self-possession or self-realization, but as a mode of what Stefano Harney and Fred Moten call "fugitive planning," a planning with the potential for direct action at the cosmic scale. This cosmic poetics is a poetics that rejects "the assignation of traits," as Legacy Russell beckons us to do, delighting in the glitched becomings of "generic difference." Bringing this theoretical constellation to ground, this paper examines select examples from the recent boom in independent "lyric" games, situating them in their experimental aesthetic context in order to derive a praxis for the elaboration of the poetics here described.

Based on authors such as Donna Haraway, Arturo Escobar and Pablo Solón, we propose that health is relational. In this sense, we understand that, to create ways to solve or, at least, to soften the current problems, we need to understand the relationships that conform it, guided by tentacular thinking. Throughout the text, we make a background about health in Brazil, from the struggles that originated the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS), to the identification of the territory as a fundamental track to understand the entanglements of health. SUS is the materialization of health as a social right and has popular participation as one of its guidelines. Thus, "participate" becomes a key word, or even a key verb, when we want to talk about practices related to Brazilian health. However, participation is impaired by what would be its opposite, marginalization, which, as the term indicates, puts certain groups of society at the margin of both decision-making and full enjoyment of public policies. Taking this problem to the design field, we believe that, through participative actions, it would be possible to create and stimulate new ways of doing with, contributing to autonomy in health. As one of the partners of the network called Arranjo Local da Penha (ALP), the field work was developed with a group of women, patients from the nutrition service of the Dr. Felippe Cardoso Family Clinic, located in the neighborhood of Penha, Rio de Janeiro. We stared to work there after the city hall's decision: the fire several professionals from the Family Clinic, including the nutritionist partner of ALP. Thus, we began our meetings by the challenge of keeping the group together and seeking forms of resistance, considering the problems that they faced in the region. Using tools such as Conversations Dispositifs, defined by Barbara Szanieki and Zoy Anastassakis, and the provotypes, concept by Jared Donavam and Wendy Gunn, we experienced a collective material production, through which we observed that being part of the productive processes was able to stimulate women's autonomy and self-valorization. We also identified, beyond the theories, that health is, in practice, sympoietic, inspiring us by the term "simpoiesis", by Donna Haraway, through the perception that affection and territory are elements that form the tentacles of mental and environmental health. The partnership between design, health institutions, patients and social movements, make us to reflect on design as a tool capable of "nurturing-with" new relationships and new ways of life in the face of turbulent times. Finally, we understand that the meeting between design and health is necessarily sympoietic, forming the field of Design & Health. Neste trabalho, buscamos investigar como o design pode contribuir para a melhoria da saúde no Brasil. Com base em autores como Donna Haraway, Arturo Escobar e Pablo Solón, propomos que a saúde é relacional. Nesse sentido, entendemos que, para criar caminhos para resolver ou, no mínimo, amenizar os problemas atuais, precisamos compreender as relações que a conformam, pautando-nos pelo pensamento tentacular. Ao longo do texto fazemos um histórico sobre a saúde no Brasil, desde as lutas que originaram o Sistema Único (SUS) de Saúde brasileiro, até a identificação do território como uma pista fundamental para compreender a os emaranhados da saúde. O SUS é a materialização da saúde enquanto direito social e tem a participação popular como uma das suas diretrizes. Dessa forma, “participar” torna-se palavra-chave, ou mesmo verbo-chave, quando queremos falar de práticas relacionadas à saúde brasileira. Contudo, a participação é prejudicada pelo o que seria o seu oposto, a marginalização, que, como o termo indica, coloca certos grupos da sociedade à margem tanto das tomadas de decisão, quanto no pleno gozo das políticas públicas. Tomando- se essa problemática para o campo do design, acreditamos que, por meio das ações participativas, seria possível criarmos e estimularmos novas formas de fazer com, contribuindo para a autonomia em saúde. Como um dos parceiros da rede denominada Arranjo Local da Penha (ALP), o trabalho de campo foi desenvolvido com um grupo de mulheres, pacientes do serviço de nutrição da Clínica da Família Dr. Felippe Cardoso, localizada no bairro da Penha, município do Rio de Janeiro. O ponto de partida foi a decisão, por parte da prefeitura, de demitir diversos profissionais da Clínicas da Família, incluindo a nutricionista parceira do (ALP). Assim, iniciamos nossos encontros com o desfio de manter o grupo unido e de buscar formas de resistências frente às problemáticas enfrentadas na região. Utilizando ferramentas como dispositivos de conversa, de Barbara Szanieki e Zoy Anastassakis, e os provótipos, de Jared Donavam e Wendy Gunn, experimentamos uma produção material coletiva, por meio da qual observamos que fazer parte dos processos produtivos foi capaz de estimular autonomia e autoestima das mulheres. Além disso identificamos, para além das teorias, que a saúde é, na prática, simpoiética, inspirando-nos pelo termo “simpoiesis”, de Donna Haraway, através da percepção de que o afeto e o território são elementos que formam os tentáculos da saúde mental e ambiental. A parceria entre design, instituições de saúde, pacientes e movimentos sociais, nos faz refletir sobre o design como uma ferramenta capaz de “nutrir-com” novas relações e novos modos de vida frente a tempos turbulentos. Por fim, entendemos que o encontro entre o design e a saúde é necessariamente simpoiético, formando o campo Design & Saúde.

Esta pesquisa busca refletir sobre o desenvolvimento poético da série Estudos sobre fungos & montanhas e seus desdobramentos — Fluxus Fungus. O processo artístico investiga um método experimental de cocriação na fotografia, por meio de imagens que envolvem fungos como um de seus agentes criadores. Ao abrir janelas de vida para os fungos se espalharem sobre imagens impressas, o estudo busca refletir sobre os fluxos da arte e da vida sob uma perspectiva menos antropocêntrica, por meio da estesia que pode proporcionar a grandeza das existências mínimas. O texto traça um percurso em busca da contemplação da poesia existente no descontrole de imagens vivas e na beleza presente no fenecimento (como um início de outros mundos) — além do desejo de manter as conexões miceliais sempre abertas: incerteza viva como impulso de criação. This research aims to reflect on the poetic development of the series Studies on fungi & mountains and its unfolding project — Fluxus Fungus. The artistic process investigates an experimental method of co-creation in photography, using images that involve fungi as one of their creative agents. By opening windows of life for fungi to spread over printed images, the study seeks to reflect on the flows of art and life from a less anthropocentric perspective, focusing on the esthesia provided by the greatness of minimal existences. The text traces a path towards a contemplative view of the poetry present in the uncontrollable living images, and in the beauty found in decay processes (which can be seen as a beginning of other worlds) — in addition to the desire of keeping mycelial connections always open: living uncertainty as an impulse of creation.

The author maintains that we are still enslaved by language, by the logocentrism of language. Derrida did raise the question of logocentrism, but it seems that he also did not fully plunge out of it. Reduction of all meaning and semiologies to semantic content is a kind of logocentrism that is blinding us to the a-signifying semiologies that are being used today to enslave us. We have a mix of signifying, symbolic and a-signifying semiotics. We have reduced semiotics to only signifying and symbolic signs. This is logocentric. Opening us to the domains of a-signifying semiologies, we open ourselves to the understanding of the machinic. The attention to the a-signifying aspects assists us to overcome the imperialism of language and opens us to other non-linguistic, non-representational semiologies and their impact on us. This study attempts to move from semiotic logic that produces meaning to pragmatics that provides existence and forms of life in our society. Hence, the question ‘what is it?’ becomes ‘what it does’. This brings us to the un-nameable territory, the dark matter of our social life which all the same has a great impact on the way we become what we make of ourselves, our world and the other. The attention to this un-nameable territory opens closed worlds and open new creative ways of being in the world. To move away from the tyranny unleashed by a-signifying semiologies that have taken control over signifying, symbolic semiologies in our society and reduced us to dividuals that can be manipulated by the affects, emotions and perception, the author proposes tentacular thinking that can lead to the formation of counter-assemblages that flowers into sympoiesis. This essay in speculative fabulation deals with the "ESDI Aberta" movement (2016-2017), in which students, alumni, professors and employees of the Superior School of Industrial Design, State University of Rio de Janeiro (ESDI/UERJ), have invested in alternative ways to live in difference, in response to the administrative and financial crisis that affects not only ESDI and UERJ, but all institutions of public education in the country. Accompanying the Esdian experiments with Donna Haraway and Tim Ingold, this essay suggests that the crisis affecting universities can be re-envisioned as an opportunity for resurgence and the collective production of spaces for living together in difference. Mobilizing notions such as correspondence and interstitial differentiation (Ingold), response-ability and sympoiesis (Haraway), it evokes the termites that occupied the campus of the school, the ex-Governor Luiz Fernando de Souza (Pezão), and other strange miasmatic emanations that have become unfastened from the buried Lagoa do Boqueirão da Ajuda. Resumo Este ensaio de fabulação especulativa aborda o movimento "ESDI Aberta" (2016-2017), no qual alunos, ex-alunos, professores e funcionários da Escola Superior de Desenho Industrial da Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro (ESDI/UERJ), investiram em formas alternativas de viver em diferença, em resposta à crise administrativa e financeira que afeta não só a ESDI e a UERJ, mas todas as instituições de ensino público do país. Acompanhando os experimentos esdianos com Donna Haraway e Tim Ingold, este ensaio sugere que a crise que vem afetando as universidades pode ser percebida como oportunidade para a ressurgência e a produção coletiva de espaços para o convívio em diferença. Mobilizando noções como correspondência e diferenciação intersticial (Ingold), habilidade de resposta e simpoiesis (Haraway), evoca os cupins que ocupavam o campus da escola, o ex-governador Luiz Fernando de Souza (Pezão), e outras estranhas emanações miasmáticas que se desprendem da soterrada Lagoa do Boqueirão da Ajuda.

Through the neocybernetic concept sympoiesis, the comic book Black Orchid can be understood as a media ecology, where the feedback between the reader and the material environment of the comic book emerges as a distributed cognition. I will argue that the reader of the comic book participates in the production of aesthetic experience, and, more importantly, that this participation is not only a question of joining in on the hermeneutic circle, where the reader interprets the comic book and creates a storyworld. From a media-ecological perspective, aesthetic participation is also material and embodied; it is a question of participating in the emergence of an environment. In such a reading, Black Orchid tangibly stages an act of becoming, an event of ontogenesis.

This book is about the participatory aesthetics of the fantastic. In it, the author argues that the definition of the fantastic presented by Tzvetan Todorov in 1970 can be used, provided it is first adapted to a media-ecological framework, to theorize the role of aesthetic participation in the creation of secondary worlds. Working within a hermeneutical tradition, Todorov understands reader participation as interpretation, in which the creative ambiguities of the literary object are primarily epistemological. However, it is here argued that the aesthetic object of the fantastic is also characterized by material ambiguity. The purpose of this dissertation is then to present a conceptual framework with which to theorize the relation between the material and the epistemological ambiguity of the fantastic. It is argued that such a framework can be found in an ecological understanding of aesthetic participation. This, in turn, entails understanding human subjectivity as a process always already embodied in a material environment. To this extent, the proposed theoretical framework questions the clear and oppositional distinction between form and matter, as well as that between mind and body, nature and culture, and human and non-human, on which a modern and humanist notion of subjectivity is based. And in this sense, the basic ecological assumptions of this dissertation are posthumanist, or non-humanist. From this position, it is argued that an ecological understanding of participation offers a means to reformulate the function of a number of concepts central to studying the aesthetics of the fantastic, most notably the concepts of media, genre and text. As the fantastic focuses on the creation of other worlds, it is an aesthetics of coming into being, of ontogenesis. Accordingly, it will be argued that the participatory aesthetics of the fantastic operationalizes the ontogenesis of media, genres and texts. By mapping the ontogenesis of three distinct media ecologies – the media ecology of fantasy and J. R. R. Tolkien’s secondary world Middle-earth; the media ecology of the American comic book superhero Miracleman; and the media ecology of William Blake – this book argues that the ecological imagination generates world.
