Work-life balance is an axiomatic goal for individuals and one purpose of the state is to shape the framework in which such goals can be achieved. From regulating the duration of the workday, overtime conditions, minimum wage, parental leave, etc., the legislative measures taken by states provide the infrastructure on which companies and individuals further build in order to achieve work-life balance. This paper investigates the foundations of work-life balance set by such legislative measures, with a focus on analyzing how Romania ranks compared to leading EU countries in this field, as well as compared to Hungary and Bulgaria, as peer and neighboring countries. In the current research, aspects that may influence meat production were analyzed, and in order to obtain results close to reality, the research team considered the elimination of some factors of influence that could distort the way of expressing the characters under evaluation. Therefore, estimating the heterosis effect for meat production was based on a well-developed plan in which experimental treatments were similar. For the accuracy of the data, the fattened goat comes from the same calving season and, during the lactation, period, the young goat was kept together with the goat mothers in common breeding chairs and the weaning was done at the age of 80 days. When constituting batches for fattening, weight was also taken into account, being accepted only individuals with similar body development, the admitted differences being of ±2 kg. The analysis of the heterosis effect pattern for the characters referring to the cut portions in the casing, respectively for the neck and back, the head of the chest, the crotch and for the jig, the heterosis effect determined has higher values at the Anglonubiana half breed and the statistical significance for the proportion of the jig is significant for the statistical threshold of more than 5%. On the basis of these data, it may be recommended that when the production of goat meat is prioritized, it can be used the industrial crossbreeding for the Anglonubiana male goats. The purpose of the research was to carry out a real analysis of the capabilities on which meat production depends on two lots consisting of individuals of the Tigaie breed and respectively of the half-breed individuals resulting from the systematic crossing of the local Tigaie sheep with Awassi rams. The importance of research results from the fact that the half-breed population considered is in the seventh generation and is reproductively closed to fix the characters on which milk production depends. Since, in expressing the efficiency of the management system applied in sheep breeding, milk and meat contribute to about 82% of the achieved results, can also be a mark in the development of an improvement program that includes in its objectives also meat production. The biologic material subjected to fattening and subsequently to planned assessments, was made up of the youth of this year, males and females, and the fattening applied was semi intensive and had a total duration of 140 days with the following technological phases: accommodation (10 days), breeding and fattening (90 days) and finishing (40 days). The statistical data processing revealed that the difference between the two lots was insignificant for the carcass weight, significant for p=0.05 for live weight and distinctly significant for p=0.01 for the average yields at slaughter. When assessing the quality of the carcases, it was found that at the group formed from fattened youth belonging to the new sheep population (AWxTi) at a higher proportion were satisfied the requirements for the R class, while 60.66% of the Tigaie lambs expressed the requirements for the same class and only about 20% fulfilled the requirements for the U class. Based on the data obtained, it can be stated that in order to fix the final morphological type of the new sheep population it is necessary to include among the breeding selection objectives the characters on which meat production depends. To enlighten a natural factor, respectively the temperature from natural reproduction season, in the realised research were studied a representative number of sheep which belongs to Karakul de Botoşani breed. The effectuated research indicate the fact that at thermal levels placed around mean temperature of 10°C manifested ovulatory heat approximate 50.71% from the total flock assigned to mating in 2013 and in periods specific to seasons from years 2014 and 2015 the rate of sheep which manifest heat decreased below 25%. Also, the realised research shows the fact that in each season when the atmospheric temperature was higher than 20°C was recorded the lowest rate of sheep which manifest heat. In this way, in 2013 season the total of adult sheep which manifested ovulatory heat at temperatures higher than 20°C was 26 which correspond to a rate of only 2.33%. In the season from 2013 autumn the highest point of the curve in which is presented the situation of sheep entering in heat correspond with the date of 1st of October, day in which the mean daytime temperature was 5.2°C and the total number of sheep which manifested heat was of 170 females representing a rate of 15.18% from total sheep flock which were assigned for mating in that season. In reproduction campaign from 2014 the highest number of females which enter in heat into a single day was placed in September month, being of 88 females and in that day the average temperature was 10.7°C. Analysis of curve in which is presented the situation of sheep entering in heat in year 2015 show the fact that maximum peak correspond to 28th of September. In that day the average temperature was 12.3°C and manifested heat a number of 88 females. Analysing the obtained data in those three seasons could be observed that curve peak which show the entrance of sheep in heat is different placed, but only in the periods in which average temperature is situated around the value of 10°C. The aim of the research was to assess the current state of improving some characters on which depends the quality of fibers of the loops from the Karakul of Botoşani breed. The importance and usefulness of these investigations is the fact those many of the characters on which the overall value of the pelts depend are influenced by length, thickness, gloss, resistance and elasticity of the fibers that make up the loop. At the black variety through the improvements based on selection it has come that at the generations of lambs subjected to assessments, the average value was reduced gradually with 0.44% in 2013, with 1.94% in 2014 and in 2015 with 7.45%. At the grey variety the constant of the selection for this character allowed the genetic progress to be even more obvious since in the same period that character has been reduced from 17.22±0.52 mm to only 15.98±0.23 mm, in which case the genetic progress obtained is represented by an improvement of this character with 7.2%. Analysis of data related to the thickness of the fibers highlight the genetic progress and the varieties of black and grey color the current state of the average thickness of the fibers from the loop are sensitive smaller compared to the other color varieties, however, insignificant in terms of statistically for p < 0.01. The frequency analysis of the lambs in relation to the mode of reflection of light, indicates an improvement of this character on the interval, by increasing the proportion from 47.03% at the generation evaluated in the 2013 season at nearly 52% in 2015, and the proportion of individuals presenting fibers with a good degree of smoothness, meaning the normal and silky type, was of 76.3%. On the basis of the carried out research it can be said that the improvement of the Karakul of Botoşani breed is in progress, but to improve their respective characters is requiring the application of a progressive directional selection. Research has had as its main purpose the carrying out of an analysis of the reproductive activity to one of the breeds formed in Romania, respective the Karakul of Botosani. To obtain more real results, the analysis was based on data obtained during several consecutive seasons of breeding carried out in the period between 2012 and 2016. In every season treatment was the same and referred to: stimulant feeding of type flushing, drawing up a list naming of homogeneous, detection of sheep in estruses, mating and if needed repeat mating. Based on the processing of data, it was found that the proportion of female mounted at the first sexual cycle registered the lowest value in the year 2012, reaching the value of 66.59%, after which in the years 2013 and 2014 there is a considerable increase with 6.23% respectively with 3.87%. From 2014 to 2016 the differences are not very large, the highest value is passed in the year 2016, being of 77.69%. Also, the percentage of un-mounted females recorded the highest value in 2012, of 11.1% after that in 2013 it has a significant drop with 6.35%. The smallest value is recorded in the year 2015, respectively 2% and a slight increase is recorded in the year 2016 with about 0.52%. Calving index at the adult females recorded the highest value in the breeding season 2013-2014 and was of 84.67%, and the lowest value is recorded in the breeding season 2012-2013 respectively of 79.06%. For the adult females the double calving index has recorded the highest value in the breeding season 2015-2016, being of 10.76%, and lowest in 2012-2013 when it was only 4.25%. Based on the data obtained may indicate that through technological interventions aimed at a better management of reproduction of the Karakul of Botosani breed, from one season to the other, the main indices specific to the reproductive function have a positive and rising trend. The main objective of the research carried out has been the evaluation of skills for the production of meat at young goats submissive to fattening. In this regard three batches have been established, one composed of individuals of Carpatina breed and two other composed of first generation hybrid population, males and females, obtained from crossings of the Carpatina females with he-goats of Anglonubiana and French Alpina breeds. At the end of the fattening period, it was found that the batch consisting of Carpatina pure-bred males had lower average daily increases with 21.55% and respectively 20.33% compared to the performances achieved by the F1 males from the crossing with Anglonubiana and French Alpina. Also between batches have registered some differences with different degree of meaning for the average daily gain, exception makes the difference between the average values of this indicator calculated for batches consisting of hybrids, which was insignificant for p = 0.01. Significance analysis of the determined values for the total body mass accumulation during the fattening period was significant for p = 0.05 for all batches. In relation to the performances achieved by Carpatina males, the specific consumption of food per kg was reduced by 8% and respectively 6.56% from the two batches consisting of hybrid males. The primary objective pursued in the research was determining how that is expressed on the genotypes of a new type the most important characters participating and influencing directly the commercial value and the aesthetic of pelts obtained from Karakul sheep breed from Botoşani. The researches were carried out in the year 2016 on two batches of lambs placed in Iaşi County and respectively in Botoşani. The purpose of the studies was represented by the evaluation and predetermination how colors are transmitted in various kinds of pairing where one of the Karakul breed of genitors belongs to the Karakul of Botoşani breed, the gray variety. Another aim of the research carried out over the course of the study was represented by the appreciation of the real skills for production of sheep pelts belonging to the reminded colour variety, effectives in a continuous process of improvement. Working methods applied were those typical of this kind of determination, and the results obtained having the role to certify the degree of improvement of the Karakul of Botoşani breed for some characters of production, but also the manner in which the colors are transmitted in different variations of crossings.
