Gift‐giving is a typical consumer behavior with important implications for consumers and marketers. Accordingly, consumer gift‐giving behavior has received much attention from marketing scholars. We conduct a bibliometric analysis of 237 articles on gift‐giving from the Web of Science database. This analysis identifies the bibliometric attributes of the gift‐giving literature, including its publication trend, influential outlets, impactful articles, prolific scholars, international scope, state of collaboration, and featured topics and themes. Using content analysis, we identify three themes that categorize the consumer gift‐giving literature's key segments: (1) broad and nuanced outlooks of the social side of gift‐giving, (2) the less pleasant side of gift‐giving, and (3) the foundational research on consumer gift‐giving. This paper provides readers with a state‐of‐the‐art overview of consumer gift‐giving literature and identifies opportunities for future gift‐giving research. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Diabetes represents an important public health challenge in India and globally. It affects the quality of life and is one of the leading causes of death and disability. The burden on global health is huge, and about 463 million adults are currently living with diabetes. 77 million people in India in the age group of 20-79 years are affected by this pandemic, and the total cost of health expenditure is 8 billion US dollars. This is a huge burden and a great economic cost to public health. The research aims to explore the concept of diabetes self-management and major research questions would comprise asking what affects self-management in people with diabetes and how mhealth applications and interventions can impact the self-management behaviors in development and the utility of the m-health apps in self-management of people with diabetes. Objective: To design, develop, and assess the impact of an m-health-enabled nutrition informatics intervention for home-based type 2 diabetes self-management in an Indian setting. Methods: The study is divided into three phases, in the first phase a systematic literature review of global and Indian literature using Scoping review method using PRISMA-SCR tool to report on various m-health interventions on Self-care management regimes on type 2 diabetes and Nutrition informatics will evaluate the effectiveness and utility of m-health application developed on Selfcare management with nutrition informatics will be reported. In the second phase m-health application on Selfcare management and nutrition informatics regime will be built in the third phase of the study evaluation of the m-health application will be done using System Usability Scale (SUS) usability and mixed research evaluation with end-users using Diabetes based management system (DBMS)questionnaire. A mixed research study between January 2023 and April 2023. A sample of approximately 250 individuals to be recruited online, enrolled in the m-health application using a nonprobability complete enumeration sampling method from selected urban settings in Delhi & all over India. The inclusion and exclusion criteria for males and females aged 20-79 years old with Type 2 diabetes and access to a smartphone. Results: A sample of 250 individuals will go through a pretested DBMS questionnaire. The data collection will be initiated in June 2022, and the initial results are planned for publication by July 2023. Out of n=250 individuals, at least 120 individuals will be retained in the study. A qualitative study using descriptive analysis of the gathered data will be performed using SPSS V11, and reporting of the results will be done at 95% CIs and P=.0.05. Conclusions: The findings of the study using scoping review would inform the elements essential for the development of m-health to improve self-care management of diabetes at home settings in India and its wider application in the global framework. Lucknow is the capital of India's largest state, Uttar Pradesh, one of South Asia's most polluted urban cities. Tropospheric photochemistry relies on non-methane volatile organic compounds (NMVOCs), which are ozone and secondary organic aerosol precursors. Using the proton-transfer reaction time of flight mass spectrometer (PTR-ToF-MS) at an urban background site in Lucknow, the chemical characterisation of NMVOCs was performed in real-time from Dec-2020–May 2021. The campaign mean concentrations of the NMVOCs were 125.5 ±37.5 ppbv. The average concentrations of NMVOCs are relatively high during winter. An advanced multi-linear engine (ME-2) model was used to perform the NMVOCs source apportionment using positive matrix factorisation (PMF). It resolves the five main sources contributing to these organic compounds in the atmosphere. They include traffic, two solid fuel combustion factors, secondary volatile organic compounds and volatile chemical products. Biomass burning contributes most to the NMVOCs and SOA formation, while interestingly, traffic sources most influence ozone formation. Significant differences in the composition of the two solid fuel combustion indicate the influence of local emissions and transport of regional pollution to the city. Background: Epigenetic factors play an essential role in regulating the action of steroids in asthma. Steroids suppress inflammation by recruiting histone deacetylase-2 (HDAC-2), which removes the acetyl group of the nuclear factor kappa B-enabled inflammatory gene complex and disables its action. P-glycoprotein (P-gp)/Multidrug resistance-associated protein 1 (MRP-1), the energy-dependent efflux pumps, reduces the bioavailability of steroids in the cell by pumping it out. The expression of P-gp/MRP-1 and HDAC-2 has been linked to regulating the action of steroids in asthma. Therefore, the use of HDAC-2 inducer like theophylline might improve asthma control by improving steroid responsiveness. Objective: HDAC-2 inducer, theophylline, can improve glucocorticoid responsiveness in severe uncontrolled asthma (UA). Materials and Methods: We classified subjects into severe UA (n = 7, age: 52.36 ± 11.94 years), controlled asthma (CA) (n = 23, age: 50.65 ± 16.11 years), and treatment-naïve patients (n = 10, age: 50.60 ± 14.38 years). Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were isolated and treated with theophylline (1 μM) and Trichostatin-A (TSA) (0.8 μM) for 48 h, for induction/suppression of HDAC-2, respectively. The messenger RNA (mRNA) expression extracted from PBMCs was studied for HDAC-2and P-gp/MRP-1 by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction. Results: The mRNA expression of P-gp/MRP-1 was higher, whereas HDAC-2 mRNA levels were significantly lower in UA at baseline. Exposure to theophylline reduced mRNA expression of P-gp/MRP-1 (fold change: 2.57/2.15 in UA; 1.27/1.26 in CA, respectively, P < 0.0001), but the HDAC-2 mRNA expression increased (fold change: 5.56 in UA; 6.85 in CA, respectively, P < 0.0001). However, TSA treatment resulted in higher mRNA levels for P-gp/MRP-1 (fold change: 7.45/7.26 in UA; 3.34/3.29 in CA, respectively, P < 0.0001), whereas it significantly lowered expression for HDAC-2(fold change: 1.39 in UA; 2.46 in CA, respectively, P < 0.0001). The present study focuses on the Social and Web presence of 27 Cultural Heritage Organisations in India. The purpose of this study is to investigate the domain authority, number of webpages, links, calculate the web impact factors and link-mentions on Social Networking Sites of the websites of Cultural Heritage Organisations and rank them accordingly. Analysing the websites of the Cultural Heritage Organisations it was found that majority of them have '.gov.in' domain name in their URLs. The study found that the highest domain authority (63) and page authority (51) was recorded by website of the Archaeological Survey of India. Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts ranked first in the global popularity ranking, with an Alexa rank of 289,037. Sahitya Akademi was first, with a bounce rate of 29.70 percent and the most average pages viewed by users per day (4.3). Lalit Kala Akademi ranked first in terms of estimated daily time spent on the site by visitors (06:14). With the highest number of in-links (646), Archaeological Survey of India ranked first. In WIF calculation, Archaeological Survey of India occupied first place with 7576.099 Simple Web Impact Factor. National Council of Science Museums with (0.865) Self-link Web Impact Factor holds the first position. External Web Impact Factor and Revised Link Web Impact Factor of North East Zone Cultural Centre with 1.137 EWIF and 0.549 RLWIF was found to be the highest.
