Background: Mother’s education is a key demographic in determining a healthy child. Education is important and may indirectly affect how well children eat by changing parents' attitudes and practices. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the association between maternal education and parenting practice with stunting among children under five. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional study of mothers with children under five in Indonesia, specifically conducted in six rural areas in West Java province. This study employs bivariate analysis with Spearman and binary logistic regression. Results: Among 733 children under five, we found that 24.01% of these children were stunted. The mother's educational background, stunting knowledge, and parenting practice showed no significant change (p > 0.5). Moreover, the binary logistic linear analysis showed that education levels, knowledge about stunting, and mothers' behaviour toward parenting practices are not significantly related to stunting (p > .05). Conclusion: Maternal education and parenting practice is not a determinant of stunting in children under five in West Java, Indonesia, and this contradicts earlier studies. However, further research is needed to confirm these findings and explore the complex interplay of social, cultural, and economic factors that contribute to stunting in this population. Such research could inform the development of targeted interventions to improve child health outcomes in this and similar settings.

Introduction: College presents students with various new challenges, including changes in environment, learning methods, friendships, and other unfamiliar situations, potentially triggering mental health issues. Recent epidemiological data show that the prevalence of depression and stress among college students aged 18–24 years is 37.2% and 23.7%, respectively. Objective: This study aimed to determine the circumstances and factors affecting the quality of life, self-esteem, and stress of first-year undergraduate nursing students in Indonesia. Methods: In total, 300 nursing students were recruited to participate in a quantitative descriptive cross-sectional mental health survey to determine the quality of life, self-esteem, and stress levels of first-semester students across multiple nursing education centers. The instruments used in this study were the WHOQOL-BREF, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), and Perceived Stress Scale (PSS). Multiple linear regression was conducted to identify significant relationships between the variables. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses with Microsoft Excel and SPSS, presenting results as regression coefficients and 95% confidence intervals. Results: The results of bivariate analysis in this study showed that health status, relevance of expectations, goals, and standards had a significant influence on quality of life (p <.05). In addition, our study found that self-esteem had a significant relationship with quality of life in first-semester student nurses (p =.010). Conclusion: Based on the findings that first-semester nursing students experience moderate stress yet generally exhibit good self-esteem and quality of life, universities should prioritize assessments of students' physical and psychological well-being during their adaptation period. It is recommended to implement counseling services, enhance support from guardian lecturers, and foster positive engagement with parents to address the expectations and goals influencing students' quality of life. The Arbitrage Pricing Model (APT) is extensively applied by finance scholars, integrating macroeconomic factors to forecast stock price trends and returns. The macroeconomic variables in APT used to predict stock performance in this research are the rate of inflation, the Indonesian exchange level, the monetary supply, and the rate of interest. Stock performance is measured through actual stock returns. The research method employs descriptive verification analysis with a numerical method. The study was undertaken in the Agriculture Industry, specifically the Plantation Subsector of Palm Oil Commodities traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Observations were made in the timeframe of 2020-2022 on 17 stock issuers. Sampling was conducted utilizing the purposive sampling technique. Data examination utilized multiple linear modeling after first conducting classical assumption tests, which comprise data tests of normality, heteroskedasticity tests, tests for multicollinearity and autocorrelation. The research model was tested employing the F-test and t-test to examine the research hypotheses at a 5% significance level. The findings of the study indicate that inflation significantly impacts actual returns of stock with a negative relationship. Meanwhile, the foreign exchange rate, money supply, and rate of interest do not have a considerable impact on actual stock returns. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aims to analyze the effect of brand awareness and halal label on brand attitude of Wardah cosmetic customers in Sukabumi City. The method used is descriptiveanalytical approach with quantitative research techniques. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, literature study, and documentation, involving 94 respondents who are consumers of Wardah products. Data analysis used multiple correlation analysis and multiple linear regression, supported by partial (t-test) and simultaneous (f-test) significance tests with the help of SPSS 26 software. The results showed that there is a strong relationship between brand awareness and halal labeling on brand attitude, with a correlation value of 0.742. The contribution of the two variables in influencing brand attitude is 88.8%, while 11.2% is influenced by other variables not studied. The t-test reveals that both brand awareness and halal labeling partially have a positive and significant influence on brand attitude. More than 41% of households and 2.8 billion people worldwide depend on solid fuels including coal. The available coal reserves in Indonesia are 31.7 billion tons and only enough for the next 65 years. This makes the government encourage the development of research on the utilization of biomass waste as alternative energy. Efforts are made to convert biomass waste in the form of rubber wood into alternative solid fuels through the pyrolysis process. Biochar is produced from biomass through pyrolysis, resulting in excellent combustion quality. Biochar from pyrolysis is combined with brown coal and molasses adhesive to create coal biobriquettes as an alternative solid fuel. The purpose of this study was to identify the optimal composition of brown coal and biochar in producing coal biobriquettes with the best quality. The pyrolysis process of rubber wood waste was carried out at a temperature of 350-400 °C for 2 hours. This study used variations in the composition of biochar (75%, 80%, 85%, 90%, and 95%) and brown coal (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25%) and 15 mL molasses adhesive. Testing the combustion quality of coal biobriquettes through proximate analysis and value. Bioplastic is a biodegradable and environmentally friendly material because it uses natural materials in the form of plant fibers. The plants with high fiber content can be converted to cellulose acetate as a raw material for bioplastics. Durian skin is a biomass waste that has the potential to be a raw material for bioplastics. Cellulosebased bioplastics are generally made by adding adhesives, plasticizers, and fillers. In this study, the manufacture of bioplastics used the cellulose acetate from durian skin with variations of plasticizer concentration, plasticizer type, starch adhesive, and chitosan. Glycerol and sorbitol were used as plasticizers with variations in concentration of 20%, 30%, and 40%. The mass ratio of cellulose and starch used was 1.5:1. Bioplastics were produced by adding chitosan, starch, and variations of plasticizers in each concentration which were achieved varying values in tensile strength, water absorption, density values, elongation values, Young's modulus, degradability, and different bioplastic surface structures. The best bioplastic result is bioplastic with 20% sorbitol concentration for a density of 0.852 g/mL, water absorption of 45.99%, tensile strength of 613.12 Kpa, elongation of 2.35%, and Young's modulus of 26090.21 Kpa. The stress level of vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is affected by increased density and several genes are expressed under the condition. This study aimed to determine the expression of genes encoding white shrimp stress after density treatment and the infectious myonecrosis virus (IMNV) challenge test. A completely randomized design (CRD) was carried out with 6 treatment groups, i.e. 3 different stocking density groups without IMNV infection (100, 200, and 400 shrimp/m² ) and 3 different stocking density groups + IMNV infection (100, 200, and 400 shrimp/m² ). In addition, a shrimp density of 400 shrimp/m² reported the fastest rate of developing the IMNV virus as seen from the clinical symptoms. The lowest cumulative number of shrimp deaths was at a density of 100 shrimp/m² and was caused by the IMNV virus confirmed through RTPCR. Expression of stress-coding genes was divided into upregulated and downregulated characteristics. The upregulated genes were lectin and translationally controlled tumor protein (TCTP), while the downregulated gene was Toll Receptor. The results showed that the expression of genes related to immunity in L. vannamei was upregulated after pathogen challenges such as lectin and TCTP, meanwhile, the Toll receptor gene was downregulated. Further study should also be performed to measure the expression of the three genes in revealing the immune pathways. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The purpose of this study is to describe human relations, physical work environment, and work ethic. Then to analyze the effect of human relations, physical work environment on employee work ethic at Perumda Air Minum Tirta Jaya Mandiri Sukabumi Regency. This study uses associative research methods with a quantitative approach. The population is all employees of Perumda Air Minum Tirta Jaya Mandiri totaling 58 people using saturated sampling. The type of data used is primary and secondary data, the measurement of this study using a semantic differential scale. In this research analysis technique, namely using validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, research model testing (F test), and hypothesis testing (T test). Based on the results of the study, it is obtained that the relationship between the variables of Human Relations and the Physical Work Environment on Work Ethic is 0.874, including the criteria for a very strong relationship, the magnitude of the influence of Human Relations on Work Ethic is 0.667, and the magnitude of the influence of the Physical Work Environment on Work Ethic is 0.615 or 76.4% while the remaining 23.6% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. This study was conducted to examine the effect of Electronic Word of Mouth (EWOM) on brand image and purchase intention, as well as the mediating role of brand image in the relationship between E-WOM and purchase intention. The phenomenon observed is the increasing role of online reviews and digital recommendations in shaping consumers' perceptions of brands and their purchasing decisions. This study used descriptive and associative methods with a quantitative approach. The study population was 356,410 residents of Sukabumi City, with a sample of 200 people randomly selected through probability sampling technique. Validity and reliability testing was conducted using SPSS version 23. The results showed that E-WOM had a significant effect on brand image with all items on the E-WOM variable and brand image declared valid (r_hitung > r_kritis). In addition, brand image also has a significant influence on consumer purchase intention. Brand image acts as a mediator that strengthens the influence of E-WOM on purchase intention. Cronbach's Alpha values for brand image, E-WOM, and purchase intention show high reliability (>0.60). In conclusion, E-WOM and brand image have an important role in shaping consumer purchase intention, with brand image strengthening the relationship between E-WOM and purchase intention. Effective marketing strategies should focus on improving brand image and leveraging E-WOM to drive consumer purchase decisions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
