The advent of sixth-generation (6G) networks brings unmatched speed, reliability, and capacity for massive connections, making it a cornerstone for revolutionary applications. One such application is in vehicular networks, which have their unique demands and complexities. Specifically, they face the complex issue of packet reordering due to the high-speed movement of vehicles and frequent switching of network connections. This paper examines the impact and causes of packet reordering, its threats to network efficiency, and potential countermeasures, particularly in the context of 6G-enabled vehicular networks. We introduce end-to-end methods and metrics to address packet reordering in 6G, discussing the development trends and application prospects. Our findings highlight the emergence of sophisticated strategies, such as prediction and avoidance, to manage packet reordering. They also reveal potential applications to boost network reliability, emulate traffic distributions, and enhance data security. Furthermore, we anticipate a growing integration of machine learning and data-driven optimization in tackling packet reordering. The insights provided aim to influence the future design and optimization of 6G networks, particularly concerning packet management and performance. Sediment load in rivers is recognized as both a carrier and a potential source of contaminants. Sediment deposition significantly changes river flow and morphology, thereby affecting stream hydrology and aquatic life. We projected sediment load from the Pearl River basin (PRB), Mississippi into the northern Gulf of Mexico under a future climate with afforestation using the SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool)-based HAWQS (Hydrologic and Water Quality System) model. Three simulation scenarios were developed in this study: (1) the past scenario for estimating the 40-year sediment load from 1981 to 2020; (2) the future scenario for projecting the 40-year sediment load from 2025 to 2064, and (3) the future afforestation scenario that was the same as the future scenario, except for converting the rangeland located in the middle section of the Pearl River watershed of the PRB into the mixed forest land cover. Simulations showed a 16% decrease in sediment load for the future scenario in comparison to the past scenario due to the decrease in future surface runoff. Over both the past and future 40 years, the monthly maximum and minimum sediment loads occurred, respectively, in April and August; whereas the seasonal sediment load followed the order: spring > winter > summer > fall. Among the four seasons, winter and spring accounted for about 86% of sediment load for both scenarios. Under the future 40-year climate conditions, a 10% reduction in annual average sediment load with afforestation was observed in comparison to without afforestation. Maternal ageing is one of the major causes of reduced ovarian reserve and low oocyte quality in elderly women. Decreased oocyte quality is the main cause of age‐related infertility. Mitochondria are multifunctional energy stations that determine the oocyte quality. The mitochondria in aged oocytes display functional impairments with mtDNA damage, which leads to reduced competence and developmental potential of oocytes. To improve oocyte quality, mitochondrial supplementation is carried out as a potential therapeutic approach. However, the selection of suitable cells as the source of mitochondria remains controversial. We cultivated endometrial mesenchymal stem cells (EnMSCs) from aged mice and extracted mitochondria from EnMSCs. To improve the quality of oocytes, GV oocytes were supplemented with mitochondria via microinjection. And MII oocytes from aged mice were fertilized by intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), combining EnMSCs' mitochondrial microinjection. In this study, we found that the mitochondria derived from EnMSCs could significantly improve the quality of aged oocytes. Supplementation with EnMSC mitochondria significantly increased the blastocyst ratio of MII oocytes from aged mice after ICSI. We also found that the birth rate of mitochondria‐injected ageing oocytes was significantly increased after embryo transplantation. Our study demonstrates that supplementation with EnMSC‐derived mitochondria can improve the quality of oocytes and promote embryo development in ageing mice, which might provide a prospective strategy for clinical treatment. The anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C) and its cofactors CDH1 and CDC20 regulate the accumulation/degradation of CCNB1 during mouse oocyte meiotic maturation. Generally, the CCNB1 degradation mediated by APC/CCDC20 activity is essential for the transition from metaphase to anaphase. Here, by using siRNA and mRNA microinjection, as well as time‐lapse live imaging, we showed that Septin 9, which mediates the binding of septins to microtubules, is critical for oocyte meiotic cell cycle progression. The oocytes were arrested at the MI stage and the connection between chromosome kinetochores and spindle microtubules was disrupted after Septin 9 depletion. As it is well known that spindle assembly checkpoint (SAC) is an important regulator of the MI‐AI transition, we thus detected the SAC activity and the expression of CDC20 and CCNB1 which were the downstream proteins of SAC during this critical period. The signals of Mad1 and BubR1 still remained on the kinetochores of chromosomes in Septin 9 siRNA oocytes at 9.5 h of in vitro culture when most control oocytes entered anaphase I. The expression of CCNB1 did not decrease and the expression of CDC20 did not increase at 9.5 h in Septin 9 siRNA oocytes. Microinjection of mRNA encoding Septin 9 or CDC20 could partially rescue MI arrest caused by Septin 9 siRNA. These results suggest that Septin 9 is required for meiotic MI‐AI transition by regulating the kinetochore‐microtubule connection and SAC protein localization on kinetochores, whose effects are transmitted to APC/CCDC20 activity and CCNB1 degradation in mouse oocytes. The effects of reaction conditions on the yield of ethylene and propylene from pentene cracking were investigated in a fixed-bed reactor at 500–750 °C and for a weight hourly space velocity (WHSV) of 15–83 h−1. The total yield of ethylene and propylene reached a maximum (67.8 wt%) at 700 °C and 57 h−1. In order to explore the reaction mechanism at high temperatures, a thermal/catalytic cracking proportion model was established. It was found that the proportion of pentene feed chemically adsorbed with the acid sites and cracked through catalytic cracking was above 88.4%, even at 750 °C. Ethylene and propylene in the products were mainly derived from catalytic cracking rather than thermal cracking at 650–750 °C. In addition, the suitable reaction network for pentene catalytic cracking was deduced and estimated. The results showed that the monomolecular cracking proportion increased from 1% at 500 °C to 95% at 750 °C. The high selectivity of ethylene and propylene at high temperatures was mainly due to the intensification of the monomolecular cracking reaction. After 20 times of regeneration, the acidity and pore structure of the zeolite had hardly changed, and the conversion of pentene remained above 80% at 650 °C. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
