Sargassum is exploited as a biostimulant in agriculture for its rich bioactive compounds. Extracts from Sargassum promote plant growth, nutrient uptake, and stress tolerance in agricultural and horticultural crops. Sargassum is a most abundant seaweed, and it occupies a huge proportion of coastal plants. This review unveils key active constituents present in Sargassum such as proximate and ultimate compounds, antioxidants, phytohormones, glucosinoids, bioactive compounds, and enzymes. As a biostimulant, Sargassum mitigates biotic and abiotic stresses. It has a positive impact on soil health, plant physiology, crop yield, animal antimicrobials, and animal feeding, as well as highlighting some sustainable agricultural practices discussed in the review. Integrating Sargassum-based biostimulants in agriculture holds promise for resilient and productive crops with minimal environmental impact. These characteristics are considered the future of ideal agrochemical properties in all dimensions of plant growth and development. Acalypha indicais an important medicinal plant and traditionally used as throat infections, wound healing, arthritis, ulcer and diabetes mellitus. Thin layer chromatography (TLC) the present study showed separation of two deep violet colour spots with RF values 0.31 and 0.72 which may represent the presence of alkaloids. Infra-Red (IR) spectral analysis of Acalypha indica showed C-H, -C=C-, N-H bend, C-C, C-H rock, O-H bend and C-C1 stretchings which may be attributed to the presence of functional groups like alcohol, alkenes, primary amines, alphatic amines and alkylhalides. Ground water is the main source of water for agriculture and domestic use in the study area. This study was aimed to evaluate the groundwater quality for domestic and irrigational purposes. Groundwater samples were collected from twenty five locations in both pre-monsoon and post-monsoon months and examined for various physico-chemical parameters such as pH, total dissolved solids, total hardness, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, bicarbonate, sulphate, Nitrate and chloride. To assess the domestic suitability of groundwater, all these parameters were compared with the standards ofWorld Health Organization and Indian standards. Sodium Adsorption Ratio (SAR) and US salinity diagram were used to evaluate the groundwater for irrigation suitability. At some locations sodium and potassium values were higher than the prescribed limits. The SAR values were less than 10. Based on United States Salinity Laboratory Staff ( USSL) diagram the dominant categories were C2-S1, C3-S1, C2-S1, C3-S1, C3-S2 in both pre and post-monsoon. Groundwater samples were classified as Na-HCO3 and Na-Cl water type in pre-monsoon and Ca-Na-HCO3 and Na-Cl types in post-monsoon. The geochemical analysis revealed that the groundwater samples were fit for domesticpurpose. The irrigation quality assessment based on Sodium Adsorption ratio and USSalinity diagram suggested that, most of the groundwater samples were fit for irrigational activities except in certain locations where sodium and salinity values were high. Natural fiber based composites are gaining increased interest in industrial applications because of less weight, cheap and harmless. In this research work, natural composite was manufactured using Indian almond fiber by conventional hand layup process. The effect of fiber length (10, 20, and 30 mm) on the properties of composites was analyzed. Results showed that the composite made with 10 mm fiber length (C10) showed the utmost tensile strength (58 MPa). Further, the C10 composite was reinforced with Indian Jujube Fruit Seed (IJFS) particles and the effect of particles loading on composite's behavior was examined. Results indicated that adding up IJFS particles assisted in progress of composite's properties. Further, the C10/10 wt% IJFS composite showed the better mechanical properties (14% increase in tensile, 23% increase in flexural & impact strengths than C10 composite). Furthermore, the same composite showed least water absorption and bio-degradation characteristics. Hence, it is concluded from this research that the C10/10 wt% IJFS composite is best suited for structural applications as showed improved performance with low weight. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract Background Mutations in PINK1 and parkin cause autosomal recessive Parkinson’s disease (PD). Evidence placing PINK1 and parkin in common pathways regulating multiple aspects of mitochondrial quality control is burgeoning. However, compelling evidence to causatively link specific PINK1/parkin dependent mitochondrial pathways to dopamine neuron degeneration in PD is lacking. Although PINK1 and parkin are known to regulate mitophagy, emerging data suggest that defects in mitophagy are unlikely to be of pathological relevance. Mitochondrial functions of PINK1 and parkin are also tied to their proteasomal regulation of specific substrates. In this study, we examined how PINK1/parkin mediated regulation of the pathogenic substrate PARIS impacts dopaminergic mitochondrial network homeostasis and neuronal survival in Drosophila. Methods The UAS-Gal4 system was employed for cell-type specific expression of the various transgenes. Effects on dopamine neuronal survival and function were assessed by anti-TH immunostaining and negative geotaxis assays. Mitochondrial effects were probed by quantitative analysis of mito-GFP labeled dopaminergic mitochondria, assessment of mitochondrial abundance in dopamine neurons isolated by Fluorescence Activated Cell Sorting (FACS) and qRT-PCR analysis of dopaminergic factors that promote mitochondrial biogenesis. Malicious Network Traffic identification is the major problems in Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure. From fast growth and popularization of IoT, threats and attacks in these networks are also increasing correspondingly. To detect Malicious Network Traffic on IoT surroundings, accurate scheme is significant to reduce protection risks on IoT. In this manuscript, Weibull distributive feature scaling multivariate censored extreme learning classification is proposed for Malicious IoT Network Traffic Detection (WDGMS- MCP-ELM-AD-IoT). Initially, the input datas are taken from UNSW-NB15 dataset. The datas are fed to pre-processing. During pre-processing, the redundancy eradication together with replacement of missing value is done for removing uncertainties based on local least squares. The pre-processed data is given to feature selection for choosing relevant features. The process of feature scaling is carried out by Weibull distributive generalized multidimensional scaling (WDGMS). Classification is done with the help of Multivariate Censored phi correlative Extreme learning machines classifier (MCP-ELM) depending on optimum features, which classifies normal or anomalous IoT Network Traffic. Among these, anomalous IoT Network Traffic involves fuzzers, analysis, backdoors, DoS, exploits, generic, reconnaissance, shell code, worm attacks. The proposed approach is activated in Python. The performance metrics, such as accuracy, F-Measure, precision specificity, sensitivity, and false positive rate is evaluated. The simulation of the proposed Weibull distributive feature scaling multivariate censored extreme learning classification for attack detection in IoT (WDGMS- MCP-ELM-AD-IoT) achieves better accuracy 39.45%, 34.58%, 28.29, better sensitivity 26.34%, 21.23%, 27.25%, better specificity 33.67%, 22.37%, 24.78% analyzed to the existing XGBoost-AD-IoT, DNN-AD-IoT and DRaNN-AD-IoT models respectively. Background and need of research: Abnormal patellar biomechanics and patellar arrangement result in patellofemoral pain syndrome. The initial course of treatment for non-operative management is physical therapy. Therefore, it is necessary to compare the effectiveness of Tibio femoral joint mobilisation with Maitland mobilisation in treating patellofemoral pain syndrome. Methods: Sample where collected from YMT college of Physiotherapy. Group A consists of 20 female and 10 Male subjects of age group 30 to 40 years Tibiofemoral mobilization was given while Group B Maitland Mobilization having 17 female and 13 male subjects. The study was conducted during the month of March 2023 to June 2023. Each group attended five therapy sessions a week for a total of 6six weeks. As pre and Post outcome assessments, the NPRS scale, Knee range of motion and KUJALA Score Questionnaire were utilised, both before and after the treatment. patients with patellofemoral pain syndrome, ranging in age from 25 to 40, were both male and female. Tibiofemoral mobilisation was used in Group A's conventional therapy while Maitland mobilisation was used in Group B's conventional therapy. Each group attended five therapy sessions a week for a total of six weeks. As preand post-outcome assessments, the visual analogue scale, knee range of motion, and KUJALA score Questionnaire were utilised. both before and after the treatment, in the sixth week. Result: The intragroup comparison of the NPRS, knee range of motion, and KUJALA patellofemoral scale among the 30 patients in each group was statistically highly significant with p=0.001 for both groups. In contrast to the Maitland mobilisation in Group B, the Tibiofemoral mobilisation in Group A demonstrated a Highly Significant improvement. Conclusion: Tibiofemoral mobilisation combined with traditional therapy is more effective at reducing pain, enhancing range of motion, and improving functional ability in PFPS after six weeks. Background: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of 6-week Serratus Anterior training Versus Subscapularis training in improving the performance in a Swimmer's Shoulder. Purpose: To compare the effect of Serratus Anterior strength training versus Subscapularis strength training on shoulder pain in terms of performance in Swimmer's. Materials and Methods: Subjects were randomly assigned into two groups i.e. Group A and B. The subjects were assessed using an assessment form, UQYBT, DASH score, and 50 meters (m) freestyle sprint for disability and evaluate performance before the commencement of treatment and also reassessed after 6 weeks of treatment. The sample of 40 subjects has been randomized into either Group A (Serratus Training) or Group B (Subscapulis Training) in a 1:1 ratio. Results: The study results suggest that Group B has an effect on performance improvement in Swimmers with shoulder pain after a 6-week intervention. The mean 50m sprint scores in Group A before treatment is 29.9960 and it is decreased to 29.0425. Conclusion: Hence, this study concludes that the mean difference of Group B is slightly more effective than Group A in terms of performance in swimmers' shoulders in all standard measures.
