The LAMOST spectra and $\it{Kepler}$ light curves are combined to investigate the detached eclipsing binary KIC 8098300, which shows the O'Connell effect caused by spot/facula modulation. The radial velocity (RV) measurements are derived by using the tomographic spectra disentangling technology. The mass ratio $q = K_1/K_2 = 0.812 \pm 0.007$, and the orbital semi-major axis $a\mathrm{\sin}i = 14.984 \pm 0.048\ R_\odot$ are obtained by fitting the RV curves. We optimize the binary model concerning the spot/facula activity with the code PHOEBE and obtain precise parameters of the orbit including the eccentricity $e=0.0217 \pm 0.0008$, the inclination $i=87.71\pm 0.04^\circ$, and the angle of periastron $\omega=284.1\pm 0.5^\circ$. The masses and radii of the primary and secondary star are determined as $M_1=1.3467 \pm 0.0001\ M_\odot$, $R_1=1.569 \pm 0.003\ R_\odot$, and $M_2=1.0940 \pm 0.0001\ M_\odot$, $R_2=1.078 \pm 0.002\ R_\odot$, respectively. The ratio of temperatures of the two component stars is $r_{teff}=0.924 \pm 0.001$. We also obtain the periastron precession speed of $0.000024\pm 0.000001\ \mathrm{d}\ cycle^{-1}$. The residuals of out-of-eclipse are analyzed using the Auto-Correlation Function (ACF) and the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT). The spot/facula activity is relatively weaker, but the lifetime is longer than that of most single main sequence stars in the same temperature range. The average rotation period of the spots $P_{rot}=4.32\ d$ is slightly longer than the orbital period, which may be caused by either the migration of spots/faculae along the longitude or the latitudinal differential rotation. The activity may be spot-dominated for the secondary star and facula-dominated for the primary star.

In this paper, we study the bifurcate of limit cycles for Bogdanov-Takens system($\dot{x}=y$, $\dot{y}=-x+x^{2}$) under perturbations of piecewise smooth polynomials of degree $2$ and $n$ respectively. We bound the number of zeros of first order Melnikov function which controls the number of limit cycles bifurcating from the center. It is proved that the upper bounds of the number of limit cycles with switching curve $x=y^{2m}$($m$ is a positive integral) are $(39m+36)n+77m+21(m\geq 2)$ and $50n+52(m=1)$ (taking into account the multiplicity). The upper bounds number of limit cycles with switching lines $x=0$ and $y=0$ are 11 (taking into account the multiplicity) and it can be reached.

In applications such as natural language processing or computer vision, one is given a large $n \times d$ matrix $A = (a_{i,j})$ and would like to compute a matrix decomposition, e.g., a low rank approximation, of a function $f(A) = (f(a_{i,j}))$ applied entrywise to $A$. A very important special case is the likelihood function $f\left( A \right ) = \log{\left( \left| a_{ij}\right| +1\right)}$. A natural way to do this would be to simply apply $f$ to each entry of $A$, and then compute the matrix decomposition, but this requires storing all of $A$ as well as multiple passes over its entries. Recent work of Liang et al.\ shows how to find a rank-$k$ factorization to $f(A)$ for an $n \times n$ matrix $A$ using only $n \cdot \operatorname{poly}(\epsilon^{-1}k\log n)$ words of memory, with overall error $10\|f(A)-[f(A)]_k\|_F^2 + \operatorname{poly}(\epsilon/k) \|f(A)\|_{1,2}^2$, where $[f(A)]_k$ is the best rank-$k$ approximation to $f(A)$ and $\|f(A)\|_{1,2}^2$ is the square of the sum of Euclidean lengths of rows of $f(A)$. Their algorithm uses three passes over the entries of $A$. The authors pose the open question of obtaining an algorithm with $n \cdot \operatorname{poly}(\epsilon^{-1}k\log n)$ words of memory using only a single pass over the entries of $A$. In this paper we resolve this open question, obtaining the first single-pass algorithm for this problem and for the same class of functions $f$ studied by Liang et al. Moreover, our error is $\|f(A)-[f(A)]_k\|_F^2 + \operatorname{poly}(\epsilon/k) \|f(A)\|_F^2$, where $\|f(A)\|_F^2$ is the sum of squares of Euclidean lengths of rows of $f(A)$. Thus our error is significantly smaller, as it removes the factor of $10$ and also $\|f(A)\|_F^2 \leq \|f(A)\|_{1,2}^2$. EZ Cnc, or EPIC 212182292, is a non-Blazhko RRab variable star located in the field of K2 Campaign 16. Its atmospheric parameters ($T_{\rm eff}$, $\log{g}$, [M/H]) and radial velocities are measured from the 55 high-quality LAMOST medium-resolution spectra. The fundamental frequency of pulsation is derived as $f=1.8323(17)$ d$^{-1}$ from the K2 light curves. The amplitude ratios $R_{21} = 0.5115(15), 0.490(8)$, $R_{31} = 0.3249(20), 0.279(7)$ and Fourier phase differences $\varphi_{21}=2.7550(20), 2.764(16)$, $\varphi_{31}=5.7194(25), 5.719(31)$ are determined from the Fourier decomposition of K2 light curve and LAMOST radial velocity curve, respectively. Through the constraints of the parameters, four optimal models are obtained in a time-dependent turbulent convection model survey for EPIC 212182292. The parameters of EPIC 212182292 are derived as $M=0.48\pm0.03$ M$_{\odot}$, $L = 42\pm2$ L$_{\odot}$, $T_{\rm eff}=6846\pm50$ K, $\log{g}=2.79\pm0.01$ dex, and $Z = 0.006\pm0.002$, respectively. We discover a linear relation between two sets of galaxy-lensing cross-correlations. This linear relation holds, as long as light follows the geodesic and the metric is Friedmann-Lema\^{i}tre-Robertson-Walker (FLRW). Violation of the cosmological principle (and equivalently the FLRW metric) will break this linear relation. Therefore it provides a powerful test of the cosmological principle, based on direct observables and relied on no specific cosmological models. We demonstrate that stage IV galaxy surveys and CMB-S4 experiments will be able to test this linear relation stringently and therefore test the cosmological principle robustly., Comment: 5 pages, 3 figures. In this paper, we study the dual of generalized bent functions $f: V_{n}\rightarrow \mathbb{Z}_{p^k}$ where $V_{n}$ is an $n$-dimensional vector space over $\mathbb{F}_{p}$ and $p$ is an odd prime, $k$ is a positive integer. It is known that weakly regular generalized bent functions always appear in pairs since the dual of a weakly regular generalized bent function is also a weakly regular generalized bent function. The dual of non-weakly regular generalized bent functions can be generalized bent or not generalized bent. By generalizing the construction of \cite{Cesmelioglu5}, we obtain an explicit construction of generalized bent functions for which the dual can be generalized bent or not generalized bent. We show that the generalized indirect sum construction method given in \cite{Wang} can provide a secondary construction of generalized bent functions for which the dual can be generalized bent or not generalized bent. By using the knowledge on ideal decomposition in cyclotomic field, we prove that $f^{**}(x)=f(-x)$ if $f$ is a generalized bent function and its dual $f^{*}$ is also a generalized bent function. For any non-weakly regular generalized bent function $f$ which satisfies that $f(x)=f(-x)$ and its dual $f^{*}$ is generalized bent, we give a property and as a consequence, we prove that there is no self-dual generalized bent function $f: V_{n}\rightarrow \mathbb{Z}_{p^k}$ if $p\equiv 3 \ (mod \ 4)$ and $n$ is odd. For $p \equiv 1 \ (mod \ 4)$ or $p\equiv 3 \ (mod \ 4)$ and $n$ is even, we give a secondary construction of self-dual generalized bent functions. In the end, we characterize the relations between the generalized bentness of the dual of generalized bent functions and the bentness of the dual of bent functions, as well as the self-duality relations between generalized bent functions and bent functions by the decomposition of generalized bent functions.
