Abstract

Self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) is a good way to prepare ZrB2-ZrC/metal cermet composites. In this work, ZrB2-ZrC/Ni cermet composites with various Ni contents were successfully fabricated by SHS using the Ni-Zr-B4C system. The effects of Ni content and particle size of the B4C powder on the SHS reaction were investigated. The results indicated that with an increase in Ni content, the adiabatic temperature, maximum combustion temperature, ignition delay time, and ceramic particle size in the product all showed a gradually decreasing trend. The SHS products and the ignition of the SHS reactions were significantly dependent on the B4C particle size. The formation mechanism of ZrB2 and ZrC during SHS from the Ni-Zr-B4C system was proposed based on the combustion wave quenching experiment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Based on the UTAUT theoretical model, this paper discusses the applicability of the model in computational advertising situations. Computational advertising relies on artificial intelligence technologies such as big data, cloud computing, new algorithms, and blockchain. Results show that: performance expectation, effort expectation, and social impact have a positive influence on the acceptance intention of computational advertising; stimulus has no significant influence on the using behaviour of computational advertising; the acceptance intention of computational advertising has a positive influence on the using behaviour of computational advertising. Four points should be paid attention to in the future computational advertising: paying attention to the needs of users and realising accurate advertising; improving efforts and expectations and optimising user experience; enhancing user interaction and user stickiness; protecting user privacy and improving user satisfaction. Abstract

In order to obtain the real-time traffic flows between on-ramps and off-ramps of the ring expressway, a model to estimate the OD(origin-destination) matrix with consideration of the structural characteristics of the ring expressway is proposed in this paper.The ring expressway is looked as a loop network, without considering traffic congestion,the distance fromthe on-ramps to off-ramps that drivers may choose is not exceeding 1/2 of the loopperimeter. According to this principle, we use on-ramps’ flows to express mainline sections’ and off-ramps’ flows. These expressions form the simultaneous equations which can be solved with Gaussian Elimination, and the flow proportions between on and off-ramps (OD matrix) can be achieved. The propose method is applied to Xi’an Ring Expressway, the OD matrix is extracted from the estimated flow proportions between on and off ramps, and is compared with the actual survey. The model is verified to be feasible.

With the development of science and technology, people’s awareness of health has increased, but in life, people’s health is mostly not controlled by themselves. There are many external constraints, such as how to save themselves when people are in danger. This bracelet is for this purpose. Users only need to wear a bracelet and touch the button to connect with emergency contacts and the 110 alarm center, providing users with professional personal security services. Bracelet holders need to apply for the real-name system, which can promptly sense when people encounter difficulties, dial 110, send the location, and record when the enemy can’t find it. Incoming mobile phone calls will be sensed and the mute answer button will not be selected. He was found and recorded and sent a text message to the emergency contact. In the event of a non-human hazard, such as a fire or an earthquake, he would promptly notify the relevant departments according to the people’s situation.

Abstract

The electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is necessary and challenging for converting renewable electricity into clean fuels, because of its complex proton coupled multielectron transfer process. Herein, we investigated the crystal plane effects of NiO on the electrocatalytic OER activity through combining experimental studies and theoretical calculations. The experimental results reveal that NiO nanobelts with exposed {110} crystal planes show much higher OER activity than NiO nanoplates with exposed {111} planes. The efficient OER activity of the {110} crystal planes comes from their intrinsically high catalytic ability and fast charge transfer kinetics. Density functional theory (DFT) shows that the {110} crystal planes possess a lower theoretical overpotential value for the OER, leading to a high electrocatalytic performance. This research broadens our vision to design efficient OER electrocatalysts by the selective exposure of specific crystal planes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
