Abstract

Complexing with adenosine-5′-monophosphate (AMP) was proven to be a facile way to enhance the oxidase-mimicking activity of Ce4+, and enabled nanoenzyme recovery and reuse. Additionally, the oxidase-mimicking activity of AMP-Ce4+ infinite coordination polymers (ICPs) could be specifically inhibited by Fe2+. Abstract

This paper reports a simple and sensitive approach for the determination of troxerutin using a zirconia oxide/graphene doped carbon paste electrode (ZrO2/Gr-CPE). Highly uniform and stable ZrO2 nanoparticles were deposited on Gr sheet via a rapid route. By introducing this nanocomposite into carbon paste electrode, the obtained electrochemical sensor showed sensitive response for troxerutin. Based on this sensor, an accurate sensitive analytical method for troxerutin was established with a linear range from 2 × 10−9 to 3 × 10−7 mol L−1 and a detection limit 6 × 10−10 mol L−1. Meanwhile, the electrochemical properties of troxerutin were investigated in detail. Finally, the proposed method was applied to the analysis of real-life samples with satisfactory results. Abstract

This work reports the first example of a colorimetric H2S sensor constructed through G-quadruplex-Cu2+ (G4-Cu2+) peroxidase mimetics employing Cu2+ ions and G-rich DNA with signal amplification. In the hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)-mediated oxidation of 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB), the catalytic capacity of Cu2+ can be greatly improved in the presence of 22AG DNA, where 22AG DNA acts as a signal amplifier. However, G4-Cu2+ peroxidase mimetics lose their catalytic abilities after reacting with H2S. This is employed to develop a colorimetric assay of H2S without complex synthesis and instrumentation, with a linear range from 0.01 μM to 150 μM and a detection limit of 7.5 nM. The sensitivity of the sensor can also be adjusted by changing the concentration of Cu2+. Abstract

A signal‐off aptasensor was described based on well‐designed aptamer‐Cu3(PO4)2 hybrid nanoflowers&graphene oxide composites (aptamer‐Cu3(PO4)2HNF&GO) as an effective sensing platform and molybdophosphate precipitation as the signaling element. The aptamer, as the biorecognition unit grafted on aptamer‐Cu3(PO4)2HNF&GO by the specificity of streptavidin and biotin, captured the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) through specific interaction. The molybdophosphate precipitation were formed by the reaction of the aptamer‐Cu3(PO4)2HNF&GO with molybdate (MoO42−). However, the CEA‐aptamer bioconjugate layer films not only hinder electron transfer on the sensing interface, but also impede the formation of molybdophosphate precipitation, resulting that the current signal significantly decreased. So, a simple aptasensor for CEA was constructed with high sensitivity and signal‐off model. Under optimal experimental conditions using square wave voltammetry (SWV), the response peak currents decreases linearly with the logarithm of CEA concentrations in the range from 10 fg mL−1 to 500 ng mL−1. Abstract

The interaction between benorilate(BEN) and bovine serum albumin(BSA) was investigated under physiological condition by molecular spectroscopic techniques,including fluorescence spectroscopy,UV-visible spectroscopy,synchronous fluorescence spectroscopy and three-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy.The intrinsic fluorescence of tryptophan in BSA was significantly quenched by BEN via dynamic quenching.The hydrophobic interaction did favor the interaction of BSA with BEN.The apparent binding constants and binding sites number at the tryptophan site were 1 050 L·mol-1 and 0.88,respectively.Thermodynamic parameters such as enthalpy change(ΔH),entropy change(ΔS) and free energy change(ΔG) were also obtained.The conformation changes of BSA in the presence of BEN were proved by the evidences of synchronous fluorescence spectroscopy and three-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy.Two site-specific fluorescence probes,dansylamide(DA) and dansyl-L-proline(DP),were employed in competitive binding experiments to monitor the BEN binding sites of BSA.The apparent binding constants at siteⅠand Ⅱ were 4 300 and 21 200 L· mol-1,respectively.
