The effective welding of a 6 mm thick TA2 pure titanium medium-thickness plate was achieved by laser–arc hybrid welding (LAHW) with helium–argon mixed shielding gas. Conducted research on the influence of helium–argon mixed shielding gas on plasma and arc characteristics during welding, and its further impact on the microstructure, internal porosity defects, tensile properties, and corrosion resistance of welded joints was explored. The study demonstrated that under the shielding gas with 75% helium, the arc width narrowed significantly from 6.96 mm to 2.61 mm, achieving a 63% reduction, which enhanced the concentration of arc heat flux density. Achieved a well-formed weld with no surface spatter and significantly reduced the internal porosity rate from 3.02% to 0.47%, which is an 84% decrease. Tensile fractures are located in the base material, all exhibiting plastic failure. The corrosion resistance of the welded joint initially increased and then decreased with the increase of helium content in the shielding gas, peaking at 75% helium content. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In order to prepare composite materials with excellent photocatalytic property, a metal-organic framework material UiO-66 was successfully synthesized by solvothermal method. UiO-66/PVDF hybrid fiber membrane was successfully prepared by electrospinning technology. The experimental results showed that the surface of pure PVDF film fiber was smooth and the thickness of a single fiber was uniform. After doped with UiO-66 material, the fiber surface became rough. The hydrophilic property of PVDF modified fiber membranes doped with UiO-66 and the degradation ability of tetracycline hydrochloride were significantly improved. When the doping amount of UiO-66 was 1.0%, the degradation rate of tetracycline hydrochloride solution was the best and reached to 98.2%. For norfloxacin, ciprofloxacin, sulfamethoxazole, the degradation capacity could be reached 95. 0%. The degradation rate after 5 cycle experiments under light conditions was only slightly lower than the first time. Free space optical communication (FSO) has become a popular research direction due to its high bandwidth, easy deployment, and inherent security. Its channel state is unstable because of atmospheric environment, especially in long‐distance ground transmission system. Interleaving combined with forward error correction coding (FEC) have been utilised to improve the stability of system. However, there is little detailed experimental results of deep interleaving combined with FEC under different atmospheric turbulence intensity over long‐distance FSO system. A deep interleaving with FEC method was designed and implemented on a 7 km long online experiment. The performance of different depth interleaving is analysed under weak and strong atmospheric turbulence state. The experiment results show that deep interleaving performs better under weak turbulence for the larger correlation factor of the channel and the outage probability of the system with deep interleaving can be greatly reduced. Photo-Fenton catalysis plays an important role in the degradation of organic pollutants in environmental sewage. In this paper, magnetic 0D/1D ZnFe2O4/ZnCO3 rod-like nanocomposites were fabricated by a simple one-pot solvothermal method, and then the produced magnetic 0D/1D ZnFe2O4/ZnO rod-like nanocomposites were formed via calcination at high temperature. The obtained 0D/1D ZnFe2O4/ZnCO3 has been fully investigated by x-ray diffraction, field-emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and vibrating sample magnetometry. Furthermore, the photocatalytic Fenton reaction of these two catalysts has been preliminarily evaluated for the degradation performance of organic dyes and antibiotics in wastewater. The results showed that, under visible-light irradiation, the ZnFe2O4/ZnCO3 composite material and its product, ZnFe2O4/ZnO, after high-temperature firing can achieve more than 90% photo-Fenton catalytic degradation of Rhodamine B (RhB) and tetracycline (TC) within 30 min, superior to that of ZnFe2O4, ZnCO3 , and ZnO monomers due to their larger specific surface area and more active sites. The magnetization saturation values of ZnFe2O4/ZnCO3-2 and ZnFe2O4/ZnO-2 were, respectively, around 34.20 emu/g and 15.00 emu/g, indicating that both have good magnetic recovery properties. After five cycles of experiments, the photo-Fenton catalytic properties of ZnFe2O4/ZnCO3-2 and ZnFe2O4/ZnO-2 on TC decreased slightly within 30 min, but the Fenton catalytic properties of RhB still maintained more than 98%, indicating that both have good magnetic recovery properties and strong structural stability. A possible photo-Fenton catalytic mechanism has been proposed based on free radical identification, electrochemical impedance spectra, photocurrent curves, and a Mott–Schottky diagram. We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 635 patients with acute acromioclavicular dislocation, who underwent surgery in our hospital between May 2014 and June 2020. Patients were divided into group A (clavicular hook plate) and group B (Triple-Endobutton plates via double-incision). The propensity score analysis using one to one match was performed for comparisons. We obtained 292 matched patients’ data. The matched preoperative clinical characteristics were a balance between the two groups. All clinical parameters showed insignificant differences (P > 0.05). Compared with group A, group B has longer operative time (P < 0.001) and more blood loss (P < 0.001); however, the mean incision length (P < 0.001) and length of hospitalization (P < 0.001) were shorter in group B than in the group A. The mean VAS in group B were significantly lower than in group A at each time point (P < 0.001), and the UCLA shoulder score was higher in the group B. The CMS scores were also higher in group B than in group A, including before removal and 12 weeks after removal (P < 0.001). The clinical efficacy of the double-incision Triple-Endobutton plate is better than the clavicular hook plate technology, and achieves anatomical reduction by reconstructing coracoclavicular ligament.

Preventing and treating avascular necrosis at the distal end of the flaps are critical to surgery success, but current treatments are not ideal. A recent study shows that apoptotic bodies (ABs) generated near the site of apoptosis can be taken up and promote cell proliferation. The study reveals that ABs derived from fibroblast‐like cells in the subcutaneous connective tissue (FSCT cells) of skin flaps promoted ischaemic flap survival. It is also found that ABs inhibited cell death and oxidative stress and promoted M1‐to‐M2 polarization in macrophages. Transcriptome sequencing and protein level testing demonstrated that ABs promoted ischaemic flap survival in endothelial cells and macrophages by inhibiting ferroptosis via the KEAP1‐Nrf2 axis. Furthermore, microRNA (miR) sequencing data and in vitro and in vivo experiments demonstrated that ABs inhibited KEAP1 by delivering miR‐339‐5p to exert therapeutic effects. In conclusion, FSCT cell‐derived ABs inhibited ferroptosis, promoted the macrophage M1‐to‐M2 transition via the miR‐339‐5p/KEAP1/Nrf2 axis and promoted ischaemic flap survival. Nanofluids have excellent lubrication and high thermal conductivity. However, the agglomeration and sedimentation produced by the large surface energy of nanoparticles in base liquid threaten the long-term dispersion stability and impact the wide application of nanofluid. In this work, based on the self-assemble behavior and continuous network structure formed by low molecular weight organic gelator, the uniform clusters were formed through regulating the kinetics behavior in the gelling process. The dragging effect was demonstrated by oleic acid - sodium dodecyl sulfate (OA-SDS) bicomponent gelator and graphene oxide (GO) nanosheets. The results showed that GO nanofluids dispersed by OA-SDS were stable for more than 12 months. The well-dispersed GO nanofluid exhibited better anti-friction and anti-wear properties under both immersion and electrostatic minimum quantity lubrication conditions. Moreover, the lower contact angle, surface tension and droplet size of nanofluids after charging improved the wettability on the frictional interface. The GO adsorption film formed on the friction interface protected the tribochemical reaction film of iron oxide and prevented the occurrence of sintering of base oil. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
