101. Chinese Herbal Medicine Combined With Liuzijue Exercise in Physiological Rehabilitation After Video-assisted Lung Lobectomy for Cancer: A Prospective Propensity Score Matching Study.

Abstract

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Chinese herbal medicine combined with Liuzijue exercise on the physiological symptoms and quality of life (QoL) in postoperative patients with early-stage lung cancer. Methods: One hundred and eighty-three lung cancer patients who underwent video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) were categorize into either a traditional Chinese medicine treatment group (CM) or a control group (non-traditional Chinese medicine treatment, NC), among whom 73 underwent Chinese herbal medicine and Liuzijue therapy, while 110 underwent no comprehensive treatment with traditional Chinese medicine. The propensity score matching (PSM) method with a 1:2 ratio was used to balance the baseline characteristics and evaluate the efficacy of CM in improving postoperative symptoms and QoL. Results: Cough, dyspnea, chest pain, and fatigue were the most common clinical symptoms after VATS. Except for chest pain, they were all correlated with the scope of operation (P <.05). After PSM, 165 patients were identified in the matched cohort, and the covariates of gender, age, operative site, and scope of operation were balanced between the 2 groups (P >.05). In the domain of global health status, the improvement in QoL in CM was greater than that in NC (6.06 ± 15.83 vs −1.06 ± 14.68, P =.005). In terms of symptoms, improvements in cough (1.69 ± 3.15 vs 0.38 ± 2.63, P =.006), dyspnea during climbing stairs (−10.30 ± 16.82 vs −1.82 ± 17.97, P =.004), and pain (−0.76 ± 1.32 vs −0.08 ± 1.31, P =.002) in CM were better than in NC. Conclusion: Comprehensive treatment with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) can provide therapeutic benefits in physiological rehabilitation after VATS for cancer. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Purpose Adolescent bullying has varying degrees of negative impact on both bullies and victims. Bullying in adolescents is complex, and the influence of individual factors and social factors should not be underestimated. Normative beliefs about aggression play an important role in adolescents’ bullying. However, the mediating and moderating mechanisms underlying this association remain largely unknown. The current study investigated the mediating role of moral disengagement between normative beliefs about aggression and bullying, as well as the moderating role of self-control in this relationship from the perspective of individual cognition. Methods A sample of 491 Chinese adolescents (female = 38.9%; mean age = 13.05 years) were study participants. They completed questionnaires about normative beliefs about aggression, bullying, moral disengagement and self-control. SPSS21.0 statistical software was used to collate the obtained data, analyze descriptive statistics, and carry out reliability analysis and correlation analysis. Results Moral disengagement mediated the relationship between normative beliefs about aggression and bullying (ab=0.13, 95% CI=[0.07, 0.21]). Therefore, the current study examines whether the parent-adolescent conflict as a family factor and deviant peer affiliation as a social factor have an effect on adolescents’ cyberbullying, as well as the role of moral disengagement and gender.Methods: A total of 777 middle school students (females = 336; mean age = 13.57; SD = 0.98) were surveyed by using the Parent-child Relationship Questionnaire, Deviant Peer Affiliation Questionnaire, Moral Disengagement Questionnaire and Cyber Bullying Behavior Questionnaire. SPSS21.0 was used to conduct descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis and T-test, PROCESS were used to conduct significance test of moderated mediation effect on the data.Results: Parent-adolescent conflict does not directly predict cyberbullying. Moral disengagement played a complete mediating role between parent-adolescent conflict and cyberbullying, and gender played a moderating role between moral disengagement and cyberbullying. 136. Redox Dyshomeostasis with Dual Stimuli‐Activatable Dihydroartemisinin Nanoparticles to Potentiate Ferroptotic Therapy of Pancreatic Cancer.

Abstract

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is highly lethal and resistant to conventional therapies, including chemo‐, radio‐, and immunotherapy. In this study, it is first determined that a combination of dihydroartemisinin (DHA) and RSL‐3 (a glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4) inhibitor) markedly induced ferroptosis of PDAC tumor cells. A mechanistic study revealed that DHA can react with iron ions to generate carbon radicals and deplete intracellular glutathione, thereby cumulatively triggering the lipid peroxidation of tumor cells with RSL‐3‐mediated GPX4 inhibition. A DHA‐conjugated amphiphilic copolymer is subsequently synthesized, and intracellular acidity and oxidation dual‐responsive DHA nanoparticles are further engineered for the tumor‐specific co‐delivery of DHA and RSL‐3. The resultant nanoparticles (PDBA@RSL‐3) efficiently induce ferroptosis of tumor cells in the Panc02 tumor‐bearing immune‐deficient mouse model, and elicit T‐cell‐based antitumor immunity in the immune‐competent mouse model. The combination of PDBA@RSL‐3 nanoparticles and programmed death ligand 1 blockade therapy efficiently inhibits PDAC tumor growth in the immune‐competent mouse models. Abstract

Adolescence is a high‐risk age for exposure to violent media (EVM) and bullying. Some previous theories and empirical studies have highlighted a moderated mediating model that normative beliefs about aggression (NBA) as a mediator and self‐control (SC) as a moderator for the link between EVM and aggressive behaviors (including bullying behaviors). However, most previous studies analyzed traditional bullying (TB) and cyberbullying (CB) separately, which is not conducive to finding the differences between the two bullying behaviors. Therefore, this study aims to compare the differences between risk prediction models of TB and CB among adolescents. A total of 777 Chinese adolescent students (336 girls; Mage = 13.57 ± 0.98) completed questionnaires including EVM, NBA, TB, CB, and SC. The results showed that: (1) EVM was positively related to adolescent TB/CB; (2) NBA mediated the above relations; and (3) SC buffers the direct effect of EVM on TB and the effect of NBA on TB. However, SC buffers the effect of NBA on adolescent CB but not buffers the direct effect of EVM on CB. This study highlights the necessity of distinguishing offline and online situations in aggressive behavior research. We suggested "online disinhibit hypothesis" would be adopted to explain why protector factors (e.g., SC) do not buffer the link between aggression‐related risk factors (e.g., EVM) and online aggression (e.g., CB). Abstract

北山造山带中部花岗岩体以陶勒努图洪岩体和跃进山南岩体为代表，本文对这两个岩体进行了LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb定年、全岩地球化学和原位锆石Lu-Hf同位素分析，结果表明：岩体成岩年龄分别为410±2.8Ma、427±2.5Ma；主量元素呈现高硅、高钾钙碱性、准铝质-弱过铝质特征；微量元素表现为富集Th、Zr、Hf等及大离子亲石元素（Rb、U、K等），亏损Ba、Sr、Eu及高场强元素（Nb、Ta、P、Ti等）；球粒陨石标准化稀土元素曲线呈轻稀土富集、重稀土亏损的右倾模式。综合分析认为跃进山南岩体属A型花岗岩，陶勒努图洪岩体属S型花岗岩。陶勒努图洪和跃进山岩体锆石eHf（t）分别为-2.90~-0.12（平均值为-1.53）、-1.99~2.82（平均值为0.26），tDM2分别为1.41~1.58Ga、1.23~1.54Ga。研究表明：陶勒努图洪黑云母花岗闪长岩岩浆源区主要为由元古界北山杂岩组成的以变质杂砂岩为主的古老地壳物质（含中基性岩石）部分熔融的产物，跃进山南二长花岗岩体可能在元古界北山杂岩组成的以变质杂砂岩为主的古老地壳物质重熔过程中有幔源岩浆的参与。在中志留世（427Ma）明水-小黄山洋已向南侧马鬃山-公婆泉弧之下俯冲至后期，板块后撤引发明水-旱山地体南缘弧后形成裂解环境导致幔源岩浆底侵，诱发地壳物质重熔形成花岗质岩浆，岩浆侵位形成跃进山南二长花岗岩体；至早泥盆世（410Ma），俯冲结束发生弧-陆碰撞造山导致地壳增厚，引发下地壳发生部分熔融产生的花岗质岩浆侵位形成陶勒努图洪岩体；两岩体是在早、晚古生代交接时段同一俯冲-碰撞构造背景下不同部位、不同亚构造环境下的产物。

145. lncRNA DGCR5 Up-Regulates TGF-β1, Increases Cancer Cell Stemness and Predicts Survival of Prostate Cancer Patients

Abstract

Background Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) DiGeorge syndrome critical region gene 5 (DGCR5) plays different roles in different types of human cancer, but its role in prostate cancer (PC) has not been reported. Methods DGCR5 and TGF-β1 expression in paired tumor and adjacent healthy tissues from 64 PC patients was analyzed by performing RT-qPCR. A 5-year follow-up study was performed to analyze the prognostic value of DGCR5 for PC. The interaction between DGCR5 and TGF-β1 was analyzed by overexpression experiments. Cell stemness was analyzed by cell stemness assay. Results In our study, we found that DGCR5 was down-regulated in tumor tissues than in adjacent healthy tissues of PC patients, but TGF-β1 was up-regulated in the tumor tissues. DGCR5 expression was not affected by clinical stages, but low DGCR5 level in the tumor was correlated with poor survival. DGCR5 and TGF-β1 were inversely correlated in tumor tissues but not in adjacent healthy tissues. DGCR5 over-expression resulted in down-regulation of TGF-β1, while TGF-β1 treatment did not significantly affect DGCR5 expression. DGCR5 over-expression led to decreased stemness of PC cells, but TGF-β1 treatment played a reverse role and attenuated the effects of DGCR5 over-expression. DGCR5 may decrease the stemness of PC cells by down-regulating TGF-β1.
