LiFePO4 is an effective battery material which has gained global focus. In this study, we prepared a novel Cu+-doped Li[Fe0.9Cu0.1Li0.1]PO4/C cathode material via a carbothermal reduction method using glucose as carbon source. X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns and Rietveld refinement on the samples are consistent with the orthorhombic phase and showed that the substituting Cu+ ions and excess Li+ ions occupy the Fe sites. The micro-morphology of the samples indicates that Cu+ doping can decrease the particle size and maintain the crystal structure of LiFePO4/C. XP spectra confirmed that the surface oxidation states of Fe and Cu are +2 and +1, respectively. The as-prepared Li[Fe0.9Cu0.1Li0.1]PO4/C composite exhibits enhanced initial discharge capacity (148.8 mA h g−1) compared to the un-doped LiFePO4/C. The discharge capacity remains at 149.8 mA h g−1 after 50 cycles at a rate of 0.2C, which displayed an excellent cycling stability. Furthermore, the cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectra (EIS) results showed that the Cu+-doped LiFePO4/C composite exhibits a higher lithium-ion diffusion coefficient and lower charge transfer resistance than the undoped counterparts. This study presents a novel Cu+-doped LiFePO4/C cathode material with enhanced electrochemical properties, which could be potentially applied as a battery material.

Background: Yanghe Huayan Decoction (YHD), a traditional Chinese medicine, is one of the most common complementary medicine currently used in the treatment of breast cancer (BC). It has been recently linked to suppress precancerous lesion and tumor development. The current study sought to explore the role of YHD on trans-endothelium and angiogenesis of BC. Methods: HER2+ BC cells were treated with YHD, Trastuzumab, or the combination in vitro and in vivo to compare the effects of them on trans-endothelium and angiogenesis features. The present study also investigated the potential molecular mechanism of YHD in inhibiting angiogenesis of BC. Results: YHD significantly suppressed the invasion and angiogenesis of BC cells via elevated pAkt signaling. Administration of YHD in vivo also strikingly repressed angiogenesis in tumor grafts. Conclusion: YHD could partially inhibit and reverse tumorigenesis of BC. It also could inhibit Akt activation and angiogenesis in vitro and in vivo. Its effect was superior to trastuzumab. Thus it was suitable for prevention and treatment of BC.

The dynamic characteristic parameters of mechanical joints are difficult to determine in theoretical modeling, dynamic simulation, and servo controller design for the ball screw feed drive system. Therefore, this study proposes a novel method for identifying the axial stiffness and damping parameters of the rolling joints in an assembled ball screw feed drive system. First, the proposed method deduces the axial vibration equations of the feed drive system with a harmonic excitation force exerted on its worktable. Second, the identification model of the axial stiffness and damping parameters of the rolling joints is established on the basis of the equations. Third, the identification equations are built by measuring the distance between the screw supporting points, the frequency, and the amplitude of the harmonic excitation force, as well as the amplitude of the axial vibration velocity of the screw end section. The axial stiffness and damping parameters of the rolling joints are finally determined by solving the identification equations using the genetic algorithm. With a ball screw feed drive system as the research object, the proposed method is used to identify the rolling joints’ axial stiffness and damping parameters of the ball screw assembly, as well as the left and the right bearing groups. The experiments show that the proposed method is correct, effective, and achieves high identification accuracy.
