The study analysed the perceptions and problems on mobile wallet payments. In recent times, wide usage of mobile wallet payments is witnessed in India, particularly in urban areas. While users’ base increases, there is a chance of increased problems related to mobile wallets. Server down, low internet connectivity, incomplete & delayed payments are the major problems related to usage of mobile wallets. in spite of these problems, majority of the respondents responded positively to the usage of mobile wallets.

Current glacier melt rates in West Antarctica substantially exceed those around the East Antarctic margin. The exception is Wilkes Land, where for example Totten Glacier underwent significant retreat between 2000 and 2012, underlining its sensitivity to climate change. This process is strongly influenced by ocean dynamics, which in turn changes in accordance with the evolution of the ice caps. Here, we present new oceanographic data (temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen) collected during austral summer 2017 offshore the Sabrina Coast (East Antarctica) from the continental shelf break to ca 3000 m depth. This area is characterized by very few oceanographic in situ observations. The main water masses of the study area, identified by analysing thermohaline properties, are the Antarctic Surface Water with potential temperature θ>-1.5 ∘C and salinity S (σθ kg m−3), the Winter Water with -1.92<θ<-1.75 ∘C and 34.00 ∘C and S>34.5 (σθ>27.7 kg m−3), and Antarctic Bottom Water with -0.50<θ<0 ∘C and 34.6328.30 kg m−3). The latter is a mixture of dense waters from the Ross Sea and Adélie Land continental shelves. Such waters are influenced by the mixing processes they undergo as they move westward along the Antarctic margin, also interacting with the warmer Circumpolar Deep Water. The spatial distribution of water masses offshore the Sabrina Coast also appears to be strongly linked with the complex morpho-bathymetry of the slope and rise area, supporting the hypothesis that downslope processes contribute to shaping the architecture of the distal portion of the continental margin. Encounter of self-antigens in the periphery by mature T cells induces tolerance in the steady-state. Hence, it is not understood why the same peripheral antigens are also promiscuously expressed in the thymus to mediate central tolerance. Here, we analyzed CD8+ T-cell tolerance to such an antigen constituted by ovalbumin under the control of the tyrosinase promoter. As expected, endogenous CD8+ T-cell responses were altered in the periphery of transgenic mice, resulting from promiscuous expression of the self-antigen in mature medullary epithelial cells and deletion of high-affinity T cells in the thymus. In adoptive T-cell transfer experiments, we observed constitutive presentation of the self-antigen in peripheral lymph nodes. Notably, this self-antigen presentation induced persisting cytotoxic cells from high-affinity CD8+ T-cell precursors. Lymph node resident melanoblasts expressing tyrosinase directly presented the self-antigen to CD8+ T cells, independently of bone marrow–derived antigen-presenting cells. This peripheral priming was independent of the subcellular localization of the self-antigen, indicating that this mechanism may apply to other melanocyte-associated antigens. Hence, central tolerance by promiscuous expression of peripheral antigens is a mandatory, rather than a superfluous, mechanism to counteract the peripheral priming, at least for self-antigens that can be directly presented in lymph nodes. The peripheral priming by lymph node melanoblasts identified here may constitute an advantage for immunotherapies based on adoptive T-cell transfer. [Cancer Res 2008;68(20):8410–8]

INTRODUCTION: In Public Health, vaccination is a great achievement for its benefits, reducing, controlling and eradicating diseases (LIMA; JULIANI; COLICHI; SPAGNULO, 2021). Nursing professionals are, since the beginning, in the front line of the fight against the pandemic of COVID-19. With the beginning of vaccination in Brazil, on January 17, 2021, professionals have performed another great job, that of immunizing the population against the virus (COFEN, 2021). OBJECTIVE: Carry out a care action for nursing assistants in a UBS, promoting their reflection about the importance of the pause in the work process and self-care. METHODOLOGY: This is an experience report carried out in a UBS located in the southern region of São Paulo (SP). The study sample was composed of 07 nursing assistants with a 08-hour workload per day (Monday to Friday) and on weekends, during the COVID-19 vaccination campaigns. Those professionals who refused to participate in the developed activities, were on leave, vacation or those who were unavailable at the time of the activities were excluded from the study. Semi-structured interviews were developed by the researchers and applied to the participants as a data collection tool, composed of eight open and multiple choice questions. The project was carried out in partnership with the psychologist of the NASF team of the UBS, with the purpose of a multidisciplinary work. As to the ethical aspects, since this was a description as an experience report, thus, without identifying the participants and the institution, the submission to the Research Ethics Committee (CEP) was not required. However, it is worth noting that all ethical principles were followed according to national research recommendations. DEVELOPMENT: During the interviews, the participants were exposed to relaxing environmental sound, receiving foot scalding with hot water and rock salt, with the intention of reducing edema, relaxing and reducing stress. They also received back, arm, neck, and head massages to relieve tension and promote relaxation. The action was concluded with positive words, dialog about the importance of the break, relaxation, and physical and mental self-care. RESULTS: It was noticed that of 07 participants, 04 have more than 10 years of profession, both with more than a year in the UBS of study, all have lived and had experiences during the vaccination of COVID-19 and of these, only 02 do not continue in vaccination. The main complaints were overload, stress, anger, discouragement, tiredness, body pain, and others. DISCUSSION: To promote, prevent and control diseases, to diagnose, to treat, to follow up, became the main fighter of the coronavirus, thus, emphasis was given to primary prevention strategies, acquiring for itself, a very big responsibility before an extremely fatal, mysterious and dangerous virus. CONCLUSION: The act of taking care of the physical and mental health of the professional facing the vaccination of COVID-19 is something of extreme importance to promote well-being and relaxation, as well as to promote means and managements that help him to face such an overload effectively.

Deciphering how the Antarctic Ice Sheet has responded to past climate warming is critical to understanding its sensitivity and role in current and future climate change. In this context, knowledge of the evolution of the Antarctic Ice Sheet in catchments with large potential sea-level contributions plays a key role. The Sabrina Coast of East Antarctica lies seaward of the second largest, but least known, subglacial basin on Earth, the Aurora Subglacial Basin. It is part of the East Antarctic Ice Sheet and drains to the Sabrina Coast via the Totten Glacier, the third largest drainage system in East Antarctica. Our refined, comprehensive seismic stratigraphic analysis of a large multichannel seismic data set collected in this sector of the Antarctic margin shows that sediments deposited on the continental slope and rise of the Sabrina Coast retain a well-preserved record of variations in glacial and oceanographic dynamics. Isobath and isopach maps evidence a complex, asymmetric evolution of the Sabrina slope and rise, with the western sector being the main sediment depocenter since the emplacement of the East Antarctic Ice Sheet, as indicated by the up to 4-km-thick glacial-related sequences and inferred sedimentation rates of up to 300 m/m.y. However, significant sediment accumulation also occurs in the eastern area, particularly in the western levees of the canyons. Our findings highlight the potential of this region for deep ocean drilling that will provide an unprecedented history of the dynamics of the marine-based ice sheet in the Aurora Subglacial Basin and its sensitivity to climate change under different background climate conditions.

The spectacular water outburst occurring semi-periodically when the ice-dam formed by the external front of the Perito Moreno glacier collapses, is one of the most attracting events in the UNESCO ‘Parque Nacional Los Glaciares’ of southern Patagonia. These occurrences have been documented since 1936. Instead, evidence of previous events has been only indirectly provided by dendrochronology analysis. Here we show for the first time radiocarbon-dated sediment cores collected within a small inlet of Brazo Sur, that is, the southern arm of Lago Argentino that record ice-dammings in the Little Ice Age, at 324–266 cal yrs BP, as measured on a vegetal fragment sampled at ca. 14 cm from the top of a core. A common characteristic of the three sediment cores is the abrupt change in the stratigraphic record found at variable depths of 14–18 cm from the top of the cores. This change is marked by a hiatus spanning ca. 3200 years, separating planar-laminated sediments below from an alternation of erosional and depositional events above it, indicating recurring high-energy conditions generated by the emptying of the lake basin. In addition, we observed significant changes in the abundance of environmental indicators as testate amoebae below and above the hiatus. These well-preserved stratigraphic records highlight the key role of glaciolacustine deposits in reconstructing the glacial dynamics and palaeoclimate evolution of a glaciated region.

Studies exploring the relationship between neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) and congenital anomalies (CA) in the United States are limited given the small sample size or data prior to the opioid epidemic. We aimed to determine if there is an association between NAS and CA in a nationally representative cohort of newborn hospitalization in the United States. This was a cross-sectional analysis of NAS-related hospitalizations within the 2016 Kids Inpatient Database. International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10-CM) diagnostic codes were used to identify NAS hospitalizations and those with and without CA. The primary outcome was the odds of CAs in NAS hospitalizations. Multivariate survey logistic regression was used to analyze the relationship between NAS and CA. Among 3.7 million newborn hospitalizations, 25,394 had NAS (6.7 per 1,000). The prevalence of any CA was higher in those with NAS when compared with non-NAS hospitalizations (10.3 vs. 4.9%; odds ratio = 2.27; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 2.13-2.43). Adjusted analysis showed similar results (adjusted odds ratio: = 1.83, CI: 1.71-1.95). NAS hospitalizations with CA had a higher mortality rate (0.6 vs 0.04%, This nationwide study shows that NAS may be associated with increased odds of CAs, suggesting that NAS may be a risk factor for increased morbidity in the newborn period.· 1 in 10 newborns with NAS had at least one congenital anomaly.. · NAS hospitalization with congenital anomalies had higher resource use and mortality.. · Pediatricians caring for newborns with NAS should have a high index of suspicion for birth defects..

O período puerperal necessita de educação e apoio profissional para direcionar nas intercorrências, sendo que é um período marcado por medo, incertezas, falta de experiências que interferem na saúde da mulher e consequentemente, da criança. O objetivo deste estudo é conhecer os principais cuidados da saúde com a mulher o pós-parto. Uma pesquisa bibliográfica do tipo descritivo, o levantamento bibliográfico será através de sites como Scielo, Google Acadêmico, Lilacs e livros disponíveis pela biblioteca da faculdade Unibrás. Os artigos apontam que é fundamental a orientação desde o pré-natal reforçando a continuidade dos cuidados após o nascimento, tanto para a mulher quanto para o recém-nascido, visto que dificuldades e intercorrências nesse período podem comprometer a evolução e o desenvolvimento de ambos. A doença renal crônica (DRC) é caracterizada por lesão com perda progressiva e irreversível da função dos rins, considerado um problema de saúde pública e cuidados médicos. Perda progressiva dos rins apresentam deficiência na funcionalidade no organismo do paciente, necessitando incorporar um tratamento que contribua nesse equilíbrio. Desse modo, a hemodiálise é o tratamento de escolha que consiste em processo de filtragem e purificação do sangue excretando substâncias como a creatinina e a ureia. últimos é crescente a incidência de pacientes com DRC que necessitam da hemodiálise. Nesse sentido, o enfermeiro desenvolve um papel fundamental com esse público, de modo a fornecer uma assistência adequada e de qualidade que contribui para a redução das altas taxas de morbidade e mortalidade associada à patologia. O objetivo deste estudo é identificar os cuidados da equipe de enfermagem prestados ao paciente no processo de hemodiálise. O presente trabalho fundamenta-se em um estudo descritivo de revisão bibliográfica, de abordagem qualitativa. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de busca online das produções científicas como Bireme, Medline, Scielo, Lilacs, que compreende no período de 2012 a 2022. Os artigos, neste estudo, apontam para a importância das informações fornecidas e o cuidado durante todo o processo de tratamento, que promove uma melhor qualidade de vida, reduzindo os riscos e complicações que podem ser desencadeadas pelo tratamento. Klinik merupakan kebutuhan setiap manusia sebagai tempat atau sarana yang berfungsi untuk membantu memberikan pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat. Apabila klinik belum menggunakan sistem komputerisasi, maka akan menghambat proses penanganan pasien. Pada Klinik Karunia Bunda ditemukan hambatan, diantaranya pendaftaran pasien masih dilakukan secara manual dengan pasien harus datang langsung ke klinik, tidak memiliki sistem antrian dalam perawatan, manajemen rekam medis yang masih manual dengan menulis tangan. Hal ini dapat membutuhkan banyak waktu dalam proses pencarian data. Tujuan dari aplikasi ini adalah memudahkan kegiatan operasional sehari-hari di dalam klinik yang berjalan dengan cepat dan tepat, serta pengelolaan data medis akan lebih akurat (meminimalisir human error). Metode analisa menggunakan Soft System Methodology (SSM), dan metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan Extreme Programming (XP). Aplikasi ini berbasis website menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dalam framework Codeigniter (CI) yang didukung basis data MySQL. Diharapkan dengan aplikasi ini proses kerja di dalam klinik menjadi lebih cepat, pendokumentasian rekam medis yang terstruktur, mengurangi penggunaan kertas, serta memudahkan aktivitas dalam pelayanan pasien. Dendritic cells (DC) play a major role during the priming phase of anti-tumor immunization, as they are required for an efficient tumor-associated antigens presentation. At least one dendritic cell-based therapy has already been successfully approved by regulators for clinical application in prostate cancer patients. Moreover, DC development is dependent on the granulocyte macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF), a cytokine that has been successfully used as a potent inducer of anti-tumoral immunity. To better understand the relation between DC and GM-CSF in anti-tumor immunity, we studied the DC function in mice lacking the cytokine receptor common subunit beta (βc-/-) for GM-CSF, IL-3 and IL-5 and immunized with irradiated tumor cells. Such immunization induces a protective, specific tumor immunization in wild-type mice, while βc-/- mice failed to mount an immune response. Upon in vitro stimulation, DC from βc-/- mice (DCβc-/-) are unable to undergo a full maturation level. In vivo experiments show that they lack the ability to prevent tumor growth, in contrast to DCWT. Moreover, matured DCWT rescued immunization in βc-/- mice. DC maturation is dependent on a functional pathway involving GM-CSF signaling through a biologically functional receptor. These findings may contribute to new strategies for efficient anti-tumor immunotherapies.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan kemandirian belajar peserta didik yang dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 066652 Medan Helvetia pada bulan Oktober –November 2020 Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 066652 Medan Helvetia dengan jumlah 38 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu berupa angket dan untuk menguji hipotesis digunakan analisis korelasi product moment dari Karl Pearson. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara pola asuh orang tua dengan kemandirian belajar peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 066652 Medan Helvetia dengan besar korelasi 12,1%.

There has been little exploration of acute myocarditis trends in children despite notable advancements in care over the past decade. We explored trends in pediatric hospitalizations for acute myocarditis from 2007 to 2016 in the United States (US). This was a retrospective, serial cross-sectional study of the National Inpatient Sample database from 2007 to 2016, identifying patients ≤18 years hospitalized with acute myocarditis. Patient demographics and incidence trends were examined. Other relevant clinical and resource utilization outcomes were also explored. Out of 60,390,000 weighted pediatric hospitalizations, 6371 were related to myocarditis. The incidence of myocarditis increased from 0.7 to 0.9 per 100,000 children (p0.0001) over the study period. The mortality decreased from 7.5% to 6.1% (p = 0.02). A significant inflation-adjusted increase by $4,574 in the median hospitalization cost was noted (p = 0.02) while length of stay remained stable (median 6.1 days). Tachyarrhythmias were identified as the most common type of associated arrhythmia. The occurrence of congestive heart failure remained steady at 27%. In conclusion, in-hospital mortality associated with pediatric acute myocarditis has decreased in the United States over years 2007 to 2016 with a concurrent rise in incidence. Despite steady length of stay, hospitalization costs have increased. Future studies investigating long-term outcomes relating to acute myocarditis are warranted.
