Intrinsically fluorescent poly(amidoamine) dendrimers (IF-PAMAM) are an emerging class of versatile nanoplatforms for in vitro tracking and bio-imaging. However, limited tissue penetration of their fluorescence and interference due to auto-fluorescence arising from biological tissues limit its application in vivo. Herein, a green IF-PAMAM (FGP) dendrimer is reported and its biocompatibility, circulation, biodistribution and potential role for traceable central nervous system (CNS)-targeted delivery in zebrafish is evaluated, exploring various routes of administration. Key features of FGP include visible light excitation (488 nm), high fluorescence signal intensity, superior photostability and low interference from tissue auto-fluorescence. After intravenous injection, FGP shows excellent imaging and tracking performance in zebrafish. Further conjugating FGP with transferrin (FGP-Tf) significantly increases its penetration through the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and prolongs its circulation in the blood stream. When administering through local intratissue microinjection, including intracranial and intrathecal injection in zebrafish, both FGP and FGP-Tf exhibit excellent tissue diffusion and effective cellular uptake in the brain and spinal cord, respectively. This makes FGP/FGP-Tf attractive for in vivo tracing when transporting to the CNS is desired. The work addresses some of the major shortcomings in IF-PAMAM and provides a promising application of these probes in the development of drug delivery in the CNS.

This work isaimed at studying the performance parameters under STC, EL images and dark I-V curves to explore the output characteristic of polycrystallinemodules based on the faults in thecase of electrical overload and mechanical stress. The resultsshow that three defective bypass didoes mainly affected the open circuit voltage, voltage at MPP, power at MPP, current at MPP except theshort circuit current. Meanwhile, there isnoEL signal inthefaulty modulewith threedefective bypass diodes. When the cracks appear at the beginning, it causes small effect on the performance degradation of PV module. The inflection point from dark I-V curves under electrical overload drops significantly than mechanical stress, which causes more power losses.

37th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition; 336-339, Recently, the fault detection and diagnosis of PV systems attracts more attention than ever, due to increasing global installation capacity. The mathematical model of solar cells is the basis of the fault detection and diagnosis of PV systems. In this paper, a simplified double diode model is proposed to reduce the number of model parameters. The detail derivation of the simplified model is explained and the accuracy of the proposed model is verified by the measured I-V curves of the mc-Si PV module. The comparison results show that the proposed simplified model can obtain acceptable accuracy for the engineering application.

Nevertheless, its role in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) remains unidentified.Materials and methods: Real-time quantitative PCR (polymerase chain reaction) was performed to analyze the expression of miR-152 in NPC cell lines. MiR-152 expression profiles in NPC tissues were obtained from Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO GSE36682). The effect of miR-152 on the invasion and proliferation of NPC cells was determined through cell invasion, wound healing, and cell viability assays. Apoptosis was examined by flow cytometry, and Western blot was performed to measure expression of the target gene. Pyrosequencing was used to detect the methylation level of NPC cells.Results: In this study, miR-152 was downregulated in the NPC tissues and cell lines. When miR-152 was enhanced, the invasion and migration of NPC cells were inhibited. However, miR-152 had no effect on the proliferation of NPC cells. Luciferase reporter gene analysis was performed, and the results showed that DNMT1 (DNA (cytosine-5)-methyltransferase 1) is a direct target of miR-152 in NPC cells. DNMT1 downregulation and miR-152 overexpression both reversed the effects of miR-152 inhibition on the NPC cells. In addition, miR-152 expression increased as a result of the inhibition of the methylation level of miR-152 when DNMT1 expression was downregulated.Conclusion: The overexpression of miR-152 inhibited the migration and invasion of NPC cells by targeting DNMT1. Furthermore, DNMT1 regulated miR-152 expression through DNA methylation. Overall, the novel miR-152-DNMT1 regulatory circuit may provide better understanding of the pathogenesis of NPC and new epigenetic therapeutic target in NPC. Keywords: miR-152, DNMT1, NPC, methylation
